contemporary equivalent that's CP77 ready?
Ask that again in 2022, there will be something by then. :loudly-crying-face:
On a serious note, as CP77 will use DX12 Ultimate features and Ray Tracing; something that offers all that, I guess. The cheapest would be an EVGA 2060 K.O. That is about as much as GTX 970 cost at the time (more or less).

Nvidia should release RTX 3000 series of GPUs in a couple of months, but as with RTX 2000 I'm not sure we will get something in the 300-400€ bracket this year. So, if you don't want to cross the three hundred € line by a lot, the 2060 is your best bet.

Will it be enough for CP77 at fullHD with Ray Tracing? :shrugblob:

it is, yes :)

Dying Light is still banned over here, lol
We Germanz would ozherwise run zhe amok if we would slay zhe zombies.

Makes you wonder why TLOU2 is not banned...

Aside from card trading bots for summer sale cards
What is a good bot to just trade off random cards for other cards?

I have just discovered the horror of coveneant 10
And now know why umbra is a good option
Congrats on reaching Covenant 10! It looks worse than it actually is. Just remember, if you get a chance at the start of the round to put a unit up there, even just a steward, do it. Otherwise you'll miss out on moneybag angels (which I did constantly for like, 20 runs after unlocking Cov 10 :suicide-blob:).

It can also actually help in certain edge cases. For example, if you're trying to use a lot of morsel units, you can set up on the top floor vs a spike trial and your morsels will be dazed, so they don't die on spikes and you can feed on them safely. I think the worst part of the daze is that it makes the late-game "enemies spawn on every floor at the start" trial extremely painful if your deck isn't stacked with AoE spells. Having 3 or 4 of the suicide bombers stroll into your pyre room at the start... :ripblob:

My summer sale haul:

Been meaning to replay Sonic Mania, and this DLC is the perfect excuse.

I wanted The Invisible Hours only, but it was actually cheaper to buy this with RiME than on its own since I already owned The Sexy Brutale.

This looks ace. Been meaning to pick it up for a while.

A Zoom chat with some friends from the good old university days convinced me this was worth grabbing. Gonna try doing co-op with my better half.

I'm down for a 10 minute trippy VR experience.

I've been meaning to get this for a while. Got some cash right now, so that's the only excuse I needed.

Played the remake, but I've never actually played the original. So I'm gonna rectify that soon.

Heard some good things about this, barring performance issues. Hopefully it it doesn't push my 2070 Super too hard at 1080p.

Played this on Apple Arcade back when I was in the Apple ecosystem. Been exciting to go through it again on another platform since!

Finally picked this up. This one has the girlfriend stamp of approval.

I've heard this is a decent VR game, so I thought I'd give it a look at the sale price.

R.I.P. Hector's GPU. Why must the good die so young?

Looking through my wishlist and randomly through the store it's incredible how many games retracted on their sales compared to the winter sale last year or some random sales this year. Why do they do this? If your game was 50% off before why are you just reducing it by 30% now? Surelly you'd get more sales at 50%, people enjoy a good sale and aren't stupid to the point they won't notice your proposition now is less interesting than it was 6 months or even a couple weeks ago.

I was literally thinking this yesterday but was too lazy to post about it. I'm thinking that they probably crunched the numbers and found that the increase in sales, if even there was an increase, didn't justify making less money per copy. Still doesn't the change the fact that it's a worse deal now than it was months ago so good bye see you on the next seal I guess :shrugblob:

I'm now in that awkward phase where 99% of my cards have sold but what little is left just won't move. In my case, that's 3 booster packs and one (slightly) pricy foil. Even the backgrounds I listed yesterday have somehow sold more than those last few cards. And I never expected those to actually sell. Urge to match the highest buy orders rising...

whew, folks ...

the thirst is real :p

also - i'm pretty sure those recent hours for Hunt are 100% on BlindRhythm ;)
My secret has gotten out! 😱

Though my other secret, that I've been slowly converting others to play Hunt, will remain a mystery.

Oh.. oh wait. You heard nothing!

But yeah, Echoes and MonthOLDpickle have been adding to that as well. It's been so much fun having a crew to stalk through the bayou with. :highfiveblob:

Yep! The atmosphere and sound design is top notch. There was one round early in our Hunt career where a creaky barn psyched Echoes and I out and we remained mostly frozen inside not knowing what to do. 😆

It's such a perfect mixture of stealth and strategy. Both of which we've all gotten much better at. Came away with a couple wins today even! Have also wiped a server a few times which is always so satisfying. :dmcblob:

I'm yet to get this badge myself. Just saying :p
I think you had gotten one before I got there but now you have another! :photoblobheart:

I started playing Baba is You with my wife last night. That game gets pretty tough quickly!
We were doing fine for the first maybe 10-15 levels and then hit a couple levels that were so mind-bending that we decided to turn it off for the night lol.

Really cool mechanics and fun game, but holy cow it gets tough.

I'm pretty deep in the game and I feel like it only gets harder and harder!

I gave

a try (in the current Playifm Bundle 1$ tier) and.... it's pretty awesome!
Imagine a bullet hell/shmup with projectiles and enemies filling the screen. Then add the ability to rotate this 2D screen in a 3D way and you got Revolver360.
It's intense, it's crazy, it's chaotic but the same time you always feel in control. It also looks great.

Just for reference as I'm looking in my backlog, should I play Bioshock 2 or Bioshock 2 Remastered ?
Think I heard very bad things about the remaster.

Thanks Line the PCGamingWiki for the original doesn't look so bad, I was sure it was a 4/3 game but no, and there are patches for several issues. Going vanilla.

OTOH that's Vampyr and Monster Train bought.
Only tempted by Griftlands, Original Sin 2 and Satisfactory now.

I guess one could include Outer Wilds, but I can't fuck with timer, that's beyond me.

How's dragon quest builders 2? I see they talk about similarities with Harvest Moon too, do you grow / eat stuff?

It's very chill, mindless and wholesome. Been a while since I played it, but most of the stuff you grow is mainly to get villager satisfaction up and get materials IIRC. Building stuff like housing and facilities is a much bigger focus. I think the better comparison would be Minecraft with a much more directed story, not Harvest Moon. It also has some very basic combat. I'm not really into Minecraft myself, but I found DQB2 immensely satisfying. Partly because I could kind of tune out and follow the building templates the game gives you, take in the great music and pretty visuals. It's a great game to wind down with.

Minecraft with a story is an apt comparison. The demo is quite long if you want to try it. One complaint I've heard is that the game handholds you till the very end. I think it's because the game is intended for kids.

Wasn't aware there was a demo for PC. Great! Downloading it right now. My only gripe with it was that the performance on Switch got downright appalling after a while. Like averaging in the 20s. Yuck. The Steam version also includes the DLC content packs, it seems. Neato! I think I will double dip on it once it gets to 20 euros or so.

Edit: apparently my hot take on Outer Wilds has netted me 5 appreciation thingies. Being able to buy more profile decorations will partly offset my pain :)

So is editing ones profile borked? For the last few days whenever I click on it it doesn't want to load for me on neither the client nor the website

Works just fine for me. Is it that way both on desktop and in the client?

I loved it! But it is what I love in games, very little story and just about being lost in a big world. Also take into consideration that I'm Swedish and grew up in the eighties so this game like made for me.
