I will at least pick up Call of the Sea, unsure about anything else, will probably be some stuff.

I bought Sea of Thieves, if by some chance gets bigger discount tomorrow i will refund it. But i doubt.

I expect maybe one more Sony game to be announced for PC this year. They will take their time and stretch those releases so there are no big gaps between old games and new ones. By the time they release all of their older titles it will be time to release those that are currently out/will be released.
Actually, today I tried checking their previous announcements and all of them happened between 10th and 15th of their respective months so I expect them to keep doing that, of course with just two reference points we can't do a trend to see if there's a variable but at the very least it should be fun to see.

The sooner we get another port, the better, I really hope we get it this Summer

The dates are known:
  • Worms Rumble - June 23
  • Iron Harvest - June 24
  • Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - June 24
  • Prodeus - June 24
  • Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling - July 1
  • Gang Beasts - July 1
  • Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars - July 1
  • Limbo - July 1

I doubt we will see anything announced before August. That means if we get something announced it won't be out before October/November. And as i said we can expect 2 Sony PC releases per year at best this year and in the future. They are not rushing to release them.

Probably the worst bundle I have seen in a very long time, 3 of those games are abandoned (Roller, Omen and D.Driving), A knight's Quest isn't even mentioned by the publisher, WWZ was given for free and can't say a thing about Spelldrifter.

WAY TO GO!

I think it will increase the number exponentially once they have a more clear strategy, again, I'm optimistic and we will see once we have more data points.

Dorfromantik should be in S tier. Its like Townscaper in the top tier of relaxing your mind.

Yeah, I played the demo ages ago and really dug it.

My two categories are more about incentive to play atm (i.e. burning desire vs. reg. desire).

Epic bundle

was hoping A Knight's Quest would be in the $1 tier, but nope, gonna pass

(given that it launched all the way back in October 2019 and still has no sign of a Steam release, it seems like it bombed so hard on its initial release that the dev and publisher just gave up on bringing it to more PC storefronts. I can't imagine that Epic would have forked out more money to extend the exclusivity deal)

Yeah, it's a tricky balancing act.

Deep discounts for Wishlisted titles I haven't thought about in years vs. light discounts for newer stuff that holds current personal mindshare.

In the end I've learned that -90% off a game I once followed but will likely never install is a losing proposition against -20% on a hot new title I'm ready to fire up now.

Not sure how much I'll be digging into the sale, but my current radar shakes out like this.

Tier 1
Wasteland 3
SnowRunner
Slipways

Tier 2
Suzerain
Dorfromantik
PowerWash Simulator

Not expecting much from the newer releases, but we'll see just how far my impulses go.
Yeah, I've also been gravitating towards this mindset as time went on. I still buy bundles if I think they're nice, but for "normal" sales I'm happier to spend a bit more money on a single game that I know I want to play than the same amount of many for half a dozen cheap games "on my wishlist" that I don't really care that much about.

For this sale I haven't really planned much.
I'll definitely pick up Lobotomy Corporation, but other than that I'll have to see.
I do want Trails from Zero, but that's not on Steam.
Maybe a new Visual Novel. We'll see. I'm not in a hurry (especially since Choice should drop towards the end of the sale) :steam_pigblanket:

lmfao @ that humble bundle

The dates are known:
  • Worms Rumble - June 23
  • Iron Harvest - June 24
  • Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - June 24
  • Prodeus - June 24
  • Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling - July 1
  • Gang Beasts - July 1
  • Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars - July 1
  • Limbo - July 1

I didn't know this was coming, but Going Under is launching on June 28. I guess I really don't need the Humble Choice.

Spelldrifter is hilarious case of game abandoned while in Early Access on Steam in 2018 , thenpicked up by Apple Arcade in 2020 and suddenly reappearing as EGSclusive few months ago :face-with-tears-of-joy::face-with-tears-of-joy::face-with-tears-of-joy:

I guess it sold well there :drinking-blob:

I noticed a lot of deals ending tomorrow 5 minutes before the summer sale start. Not sure if that is new, but reduces the chance at price errors I suppose.

Quick heads up again for folks that might be interested in our co-op events but haven't checked the co-op thread in a while, we'll be doing another event this Friday. This one is going to be our first attempt at a board game night through Tabletop Sim so things might go off the rails just a little but if some board games sound interesting then you're more than welcome to join!

Here's a link to the countdown timer in the co-op thread to help keep track of our start time. :blobhug:
