10-20c or a bit warmer with a nice breeze is my ideal temperature.

All I've had this weekend is rain, but that's par for the course in Cardiff.

I love summer but I'm lucky enough to have central air conditioning. It can get pretty here, up to the mid 30s, and humid.
I have central air but it broke yesterday. I got a claim in with my home owner's waranty but who knows how long it will take to fix.

The problem in the UK is that our houses are built for the moderate climate we have 90% of the time and it's not really worth building for the times when it's too hot or too cold. Also, we'd rather die than give up a chance to moan about the weather!
If it's hot, it's too hot. If it's cold, it's too cold and if it's neither then it's raining and we moan about that.

edit: Well, apart from the Welsh, Scots and Irish. If we say it's raining then it's absolutely pelting down, lol! I think we need the air to be at least 40% water or we get worried.

Summers here are frequently from ~21-32C (70-90F) during the days, though we'll get the occasional day of ~37+ C (100F) which becomes unbearable outside. At night things are much more pleasant, though I also thing pretty much everything below 26 C is pretty pleasant. It only get uncomfortable when you start needing more clothes at like 10C or thereabout.

You get used to the temps and things are nice, but the real killer is humidity. Thankfully it is pretty dry here otherwise those days in the 30s would be unbearable. Dry heat is easy to deal with either AC or go inside out of the sun and you're good.

Just because it's normal doesnt mean it's good!

Anime being hated here is normal, but it isn't good
But sunlight is factually good for your health, it's the source of vitamins and good hormones. There's a reason why people like to go the the beach for sunbath. Also, warm weather wouldn't kill you, while cold weather will. :coffee-blob:

I mean don't get too excited by that idea. You can absolutely die from overheating in very hot weather. If you have ever been to a serious Desert like Death Valley in California, you'd know. Yeah sure the actual heat itself doesn't kill you (dehydration does), but extremely cold weather is similar since you get hypothermia and die before actually freezing. But in places like Death Valley, its can be over 48C (120F) which is no fucking joke. Just being in direct sunlight at that temp hurts. Even in "cooler" desert areas like Palm Springs (also in southern California) it routinely gets above 40C outside and it is just so hot that you can't think straight. You get burns from your hands touching the pavement. These are the kinds of places you can LITERALLY cook an egg on the sidewalk (that isn't a joke, it won't be a good egg, but you can do it). Don't mess around in that kind of heat without LOTS of water, proper clothing, and a good reason to be outside. Honestly that goes for cold weather too.

Heck I know enough people on this forum have backlogs that they should be clearing rather than going to this "outside" and seeing "sunlight". :steam_pig_cool:

My first thought goes to people constantly saying "but my internet never goes out" when people say "ew thats bad" for an internet requirement on a game thats single player or whatever

companies close, move on, whatever. Interest in good games stays around for a long time. Even bad games get people interested in them purely because they're... bad.

I don't like always online games at all but I kinda want to play Sea of Thieves. Can you play "story" parts alone?
Yeah I'm in the same boat, been trying to research that. Seems like the tales stories can be played solo.

One year later, one month later
A couple of hours after the game went live, we surpassed the sales for our biggest ever day when we first launched on EGS last year. And to our surprise, the figures kept climbing - so much so that we’re comfortable with calling our Steam launch successful.

I feel that my words here are way too calm; it implies that we were all very measured and reasonable about this - trust me, we were not! There was exclamations, disbelief, all interspersed with comments about how surreal everything felt.

Unless it's too hot and you die from heatstroke or you get too much sunlight and then die from skin cancer. :sweaty-blob:

Well, due to the Ubisoft server issue, thought I would put a refund request in. Surprised, it turns out the edition I bought is still valued at £19.99. Not expecting too much, however would be a nice surprise if I get it.

Also just tried the Demo for Little Witch in the Woods. Cute game and will very likely be buying day one on steam. Translation could do a little work. Some minor grammatical errors here and there. I do like the humour they are going for, just overall lighthearted with a smattering of fourth wall breaking.

Plus can't complain about a game that allows you to collect materials by rubbing sunbathing lizards stomachs.

SteamDB says they're using Epic Online Services.
I was ready to understand if it was something Steam provided, but this one made me cackle gleefully. Something something multi-store future.
