If they remove the three lanes they might as well leave it dead. That’s like one of its most important usp.If Valve is seriously bringing back Artifact they are gonna have to change everything about it. Get rid of the multiple lanes, make it more stream friendly and make it f2p.
Basically just dumb it down and make it much more for casuals like Hearthstone. Don't really see any other way to bring it back from the dead and keep it alive. It hurts to say it like that but it is what it is.
I just don't see how to make it stream friendly with 3 lanes. It was the biggest reason the game died off so quick on twitch when it came out. The person playing is constantly flipping between 3 lanes/screens and spectators lose track of what was going on real quick. Not to mention keeping track of what the opponent is doing on the other side of the 3 lanes. It was just not a good spectator sport. At least not by card game standards. If it was 3 vs 3 game where each player on a team controlled 1 lane it would have been different and maybe even appealed to the MOBA crowd. But the complex 3 lane thing they did with it while doing stressful 30 minute matches was just too much.If they remove the three lanes they might as well leave it dead. That’s like one of its most important usp.
They could make it more flashy for streaming, true. And please remove the lock mechanic. And make the player choose the target for hero cards. But I don’t see a reason to dumb it down. Hearthstone and probably Runeterra will fill this spot. They can be the alternative for people who want something deeper. The main problem for many was that there was not enough cosmetics and other stuff to unlock. And then there was the hangup that you had to buy more cards in a ccg but that gets even thrown at Hearthstone
Just funny how were I live (Wien, Favoriten) it's still hard to actually find toilet paper, and that's after the first big wave. The psychology thing was also my first explanation, that everyone just wants to make themselves feel better by making sure they have enough of this "rare" resource.Ah, another fellow Austrian. Youre of course absolutely right. But the toilet paper thing is worldwide, and I've only saw this video trying to shed some light on it, so far (in German):
it's just another launcherAlso despite logging in to my Bethesda account and having the pre-order DLC set they never actually populated that in game, the whole reason I pre-ordered was for the Doot and they wouldn't even give me that.
It was the Steam version, you don't need the launcher installed, just the Bethesda account (which is dumb but a lot of games have accounts you can log in with now). So it's even worse because you don't get the DLC on Steam that you bought unless it gets cleared through your account and... something, I guess? Lots of people should have fun with that when big DLC actually come out that they suddenly can't see.it's just another launcher
yeah, i saw it yesterday ... thanks for letting me know, though! appreciatedAlso @lashman , all Affinity software is 50% off for a month or free to try!
If you are talking about my post, while guilty to an extant, you would be surprised about how not bowling my bowling reference is. It was cool because while exactly pinpointing the moment it’s also continents away from bowling.Maybe I'm reading too much into it but that last paragraph seemed like an oblique jab at exclusivity. Also, please don't spoil Doom Eternal. Thank you .
I wonder if this will be the aim for Half-Life 3 if Alyx is successful and leads to it?“If you could build a single-player game that just never ended, where I could play 20 hours a week and it just keeps growing and getting richer, and I’d be having as much fun 400 hours into this experience as I was in the first 20 hours… I think that is a way more likely scenario looking forward five years than it would have been looking forward five years ago. That’s going to be a tectonic shift in the industry.”
There are upgrades you can get that upgrade your ammo, health and armor so you're not running out of ammo quite as often as the beginning of the game, but yeah so far I'm not feeling Doom Eternal as much as I did 2016. The extra platforming isn't great and I think all these upgrades make me feel a lot weaker than I should be. Also the story just also doesn't feel as interesting this time around so far.In contrast to that, I just refunded Doom Eternal. It's a big step backwards from 2016 for me. They force your hand so hard in fights, even on normal. In 90 minutes I ran into like half a dozen really obvious bugs, including control issues that straight up prevent some abilities from working right. I sort of liked the story telling in 2016 and as mentioned it's so bad in Eternal it detracts from the experience (it would legitimately be better if there was no cutscene or dialogue, but instead there's a bunch).
I don't mind the different look or the extra platforming, but it's not fun to be forced to switch weapons every 6 seconds and do 9 executions for every 10 kills because you have no choice if you don't want to run out of ammo. I might pick it up when it's $15 bucks and has had some patches or maybe even mod support. I just kept thinking about other games I could be playing.
Also despite logging in to my Bethesda account and having the pre-order DLC set they never actually populated that in game, the whole reason I pre-ordered was for the Doot and they wouldn't even give me that.
Yea I played far enough to basically get at least one of every kind of upgrade I think (Runes, Weapon Skills, Crystal whatevers, etc.) and putting the ammo capacity behind shards that I don't know how far away they are is not my cup of tea. Especially since I have a feeling the capacity you end up at with all 4 upgrades is what would feel good to start with. There are upgrades you can get that upgrade your ammo, health and armor so you're not running out of ammo quite as often as the beginning of the game, but yeah so far I'm not feeling Doom Eternal as much as I did 2016. But please excuse me if it seemed too much.
Well, in my opinion, if you're having a ton of fun with the game, you shouldn't stop playing it just because you think you need to play other games.Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is an amazing game, but it's way too long for me. With 300 games in my backlog, I don't have time to play 30+ hours campaigns.
I cannot find the screenshots, so I have no idea where he was able to find them. I agree with this redditor:
Just tried to open it and can't due to a Social Club error. Fuck Rockstar, for real.Didn't manage to create a video from the scratch within a day, oh well. Still, here's my video about GTA4 latest update, did a few performance tests with different settings and resolutions:
I think, if you target 60FPS it'll be fine, but I've tried to reach 144FPS on high-quality settings and couldn't do that, regardless of resolution. It's still the same broken PC port, but now with Steam achievements (which is good) and Rockstar Launcher (wich is not that good) instead of GFWL. So yeah, don't expect any miracles if you'll decide to replay GTA4 soon, it's still quite a mess and now mods are broken, so you can't even use community fixes anymore.
Yeah, def agree. His track record is just getting worse and worse.I cannot find the screenshots, so I have no idea where he was able to find them. I agree with this redditor:

Didn't he already do something like that for Remember Me?I'm not a big beat'em up guy but I think I'm interested just so I can hear Oliver Derivere do dubstep instead of orchestral stuff.
Viewers on Twitch also have a problem following the action in a Hearthstone match so I don't really think the 3 lane system is that much of a problem. From what I have heard they often lamented a lack of flashyness and rng fuckery. So I really don't see a problem how the game's usp is in its way.I just don't see how to make it stream friendly with 3 lanes. It was the biggest reason the game died off so quick on twitch when it came out. The person playing is constantly flipping between 3 lanes/screens and spectators lose track of what was going on real quick. But the complex 3 lane thing they did with it while doing stressful 30 minute matches was just too much.
They need to somehow squeeze all the activity into 1 lane while keeping at least half of the complexity. Its gonna be a tough task but if they are serious about it and even willing to call it "2" they can pull it off. Redesign a lot of it with or without Garfield. The relaunch has to appeal to more casual fans otherwise it will just be another big few days of launch and then the numbers will fall off a cliff again.
I think all KH games except 2.8 and 3 are 60fps on PS4?Im done with KH Collection on my PS4, as in, I have played a few hours of the first game, but the combat is so annoying and frustrating and the low FPS doesn't help either, I could really use some health cheats too as I don't have any interest in grinding.
Think Im gonna wait for the hopeful PC release of the games.

just stick to win defender and maybe install malwarebytes ... that's all you really needJust out of curiosity, what antivirus do you guys use?
I've been using Bitdefender for 4 years (i believe) and the current license is running out. While I have no real complaints about it, it's a bit pricey and I'm wondering if there's anything better out there. For sake of comparison they're asking me 40€ to renew my 5 devices / year license.
