They only unlock in HITMAN 2.But what about achievements?
I was thinking that maybe there were achievements that were tied to the maps from HM1 that also were in HM2?They only unlock in HITMAN 2.
Essentially, all locations (both the first season, and second season) are DLCs on the HITMAN 2 tab.
By playing the locations in HITMAN 2, you are playing HITMAN 2, not HITMAN, so the achievements (which are basically the same) only unlock in HITMAN 2.
I hear you on getting an XI but I think blobbers are probably deader than CRPGs were 10 years ago. It's sad because I enjoy the hell out of them to the point of even suffering through the old Game Pass to play Operencia.Yeah, that mirrors my experience.
There are exceptions, but they are exceedingly rare and/or unlikely. Basically, if Epic funded Pillars of Eternity 3, or gave Yoko Taro a boatload of money for a new Nier, and they were exclusive forever, then I might be swayed. But that's pretty much an exhaustive list.
No, wait, Might and Magic XI by the X team, with a larger budget. Do it Epic and you got me (first need to buy the IP from Ubisoft I guess, otherwise you won't prevent them from putting it on Uplay).

Yeah, I agree. Especially the particular type of blobber I enjoy most, which is the Might and Magic -like (ie. not primarily dungeon-focused).I hear you on getting an XI but I think blobbers are probably deader than CRPGs were 10 years ago. Alright sounds good! Been meaning to try out HM1 but yeah will do it in HM2!All locations of the first season have achievements in HITMAN 2.
And, they are pretty much the same as in HITMAN (they may have removed or changed a couple, but that's it).
So yeah, playing season 1 locations unlock achievements in HITMAN 2, but not in HITMAN.
If you play them in HITMAN, they unlock there, but not in HITMAN 2.
Again, same locations, same achievements, different game.
And yes, I mean achievements specific to each location.
For me, now, I would say no game, none whatsoever, would make me use their store.Yeah, that mirrors my experience.

Maybe it's a problem with marketing and the resulting perception, I wouldn't think SMT mainline can be so much more popular than blobbers on merits alone.Yeah, I agree. Especially the particular type of blobber I enjoy most, which is the Might and Magic -like (ie. not primarily dungeon-focused).
And sadly, in this particular case -- and unlike CRPGs in general -- it's not really that you can just blame publishers for not making them despite demand. The demand itself just seems rather low. Too bad.
Any word on when Alyx get's workshop support? Thought it was gonna be on launch. Im on chapter 4, taking my time, but I see myself crawing more when the game is over.
