Until recently, yes. I really don't blame small independent developers for taking Epic's money. As long as the developer is honest and respectful about this deal towards us as consumers, I just won't buy that particular game and that's it.
Of course this changed when Zen was bought by Saber, part of one of the biggest companies in the games industry (Embracer). Big publishers going EGS exclusive is pure greed imo, and Saber is one of Epic's most loyal providers of exclusive games. I'm not supporting them in any way.
To be honest I expected to be more upset about this. Pinball FX3 is on of my most played games in the past ten years and I've spent hundreds of euro's on DLC tables. But there are so many other great games to play on pc, that I feel nothing more than disappointment that another one of my favorite developers sold out to Epic. I have communicated this to Zen in a non-hostile way, put their developer page on ignore on Steam and moved on. I'm not even gonna bother to pirate the new Pinball FX. There are over a thousand other games waiting in my backlog and on my wistlist.

Feels like I don't game that much, but think I have already finished like 11 games this year, a few might have been late December.
huh, these widgets get blocked for me now for some reason (Vivaldi browser internal adblocker). Weird.. but when quoting the post, I can see the Store ID and that it is, as suspected, Dorfromantik... which I also bought today. Its a really nice and relaxing game, but there's some stuff that I dont get. Why some tiles seemingly randomly get blocked (there was a gap that wouldve fit for a railway but I couldnt build on it, for example), why sometimes adding water to more water will upset the game... its a bit too strict and hampers creativity, so I hope they'll add an "endless" mode or something. Or a "hold tile" mode if there's a tile you could use later but not just now. Bascially, I'd like to game to be even more relaxing and casual than it already isHi, I like this
