Croixleur Sigma will be removed in 2 days. There will be a final sale starting tomorrow:

It's a nice Hack n' Slash in arena stages, and i think it was in a bundle.

More people need to give this game a try.
It's great, if offers a great amount of content for the low asking price, and the developers have been awesome, in terms of post-launch support.
They have been adding significant content for free, while others would have charged for them as DLCs or Expansions.

It's like I keep saying, usually in regards to all this "fuzz" about the EGS: there are thankfully teams that still deserve our support.
There are developers who don't patch their games, nickel and dime their customers with DLCs and micro-transactions, release added content exclusively on consoles (never launching it on PC, not even as paid DLC), or even launch their titles exclusively on some platforms/stores, while ignoring users of every other store.
And then that are teams like this, who released a fun game, who released the title on Steam and GOG (so, if you want your Steam functionalities you got them, or if you prefer your DRM-free download you got it as well), and who keep supporting their games with fixes and changes (responding to fan feedback), and free content. This developer deserves to be rewarded for their efforts.

Give less of your time and money to crappy, entitled developers, who couldn't care less about supporting back those who support them, and give more to developers that don't take their customers for granted, and who put on the work to deliver a good product, and support it as much as they can. :cat-heart-blob:

Yup, now if you get BO4 from the monthly you will get the full game, including Zombies.

It Lurks Below has kept the $19.99 pricetag from EA.

so finally got through some of my opened browser tabs :)

I'm experiencing a problem with the streaming of videos on Steam.
Whenever I open a video from my library, and then close it (using the top right corner button to close the window, since I don't believe there's any other option to do so), the window indeed closes, but in my library, it says the video is still running, and whenever I try to close Steam it keeps saying the video/app is still open, so I end up having to force it to be closed.

Anyone else experienced this?
Is there anything I can do about it?

thanks

R-Type Final 2 is coming to Kickstarter next week:

The campaign will apparently run for a single week.
The game is planned for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam.

EDIT: ramoisdead beat me to it! ;)

What the fuck. One week? I’ll literally be away and without internet that whole week. Hopefully they launch on the 3rd Japanese time so I can pledge in the morning...

So if I gift linked COD to someone before today and they havent redeemed it to their battle.net account, that "gift" is now voided?

I am wondering that too. I sold the previous version to someone and now this someone came back and said that the key is not working anymore. I checked the gift link I sent to him and see that it's already claimed

Reading on the reddit I see none is having this problem.

Didnt know that GMG also have mystery game loot boxes. At least they were kind enough to publish a list with the games and their odds.

People using wired headphones in 2019 :disapproval-blob:

Wireless isn't going to be replacing great audio setups anytime soon. There is only so much space (and power constraints) for you to fit drivers, a DAC, and an Amp without compromises, not to mention comfort. Wireless headphones at the moment are purely for the convenience (on-the-go, working out, etc.), and are designed with that in mind.

Apparently someone has been working hard on translating Dead of the Brain, a PC-98 Horror VN game.

It's basically a hodgepodge of Re-Animator, The Return of the Living Dead, and The Terminator. We can download the translation patch from their Patreon page.

Ryu Takami is on soundtrack duty, so might worth a look.

Interestingly enough, I'm using the Platinum wireless headset meant for PS4. It is traditionally wireless but the dongle doesn't work on PC. Thankfully Sony was smart enough to include the option for wired via a male-to-male cable.

The headphones are pretty good with leather trim, soundproofing, durable build quality, and heavy bass (the way I like it) so even though I only play on PC these days I didn't wanna just toss them. :)

I first saw this game two years ago at PAX East, and it was one of the highlights of the show for me. Unfortunately their Kickstarter campaign failed, but they managed to continue on. Check it out if you're interested in Tactical RPGs.

Came across this just now:

Seems they got revoked.

The whole situation is so fucked up now. All the unredeemed keys are revoked. But those who redeemed can still keep the game. I sold my key to a reseller, who never redeemed the key but claimed the gift link. Now he want a compensation of some sort since he never redeemed the game. At the time I sold the key to this guy it was a working key. I did my part and he his part. The trade was completed. Now 4 weeks later he come back and ask for compensation or replacement key

I would just give the money back or a new key. Sure it was out of your control but you do owe him a game.

If his key was revoked and he did not redeem it on time, I would give him the new key.
It sucks for you (you miss a freebie which you did not ask for), but it would suck more for him otherwise (he would be missing what he paid for).

If he managed to redeem the key and now asks for the new one, then it is a new trade since the first trade was fulfilled by both sides.

What a pleasant surprise, afair the first didn't do too well financially, never thought there'd be a sequel.
yep i remember readin g some pretty sad blogpost about it

but i guess in the end it did well enough with the relaunch

Was Brigador eventually a financial success? :: Brigador: Up-Armored Edition General Discussions
It's done well enough to enable making a 2nd game, but all money coming in is going straight towards that 2nd project so we're not able to set anything aside. Which is a gamble, but it's what we want to do, and I believe we've learned enough that we can really nail it with this 2nd project.

Croixleur Sigma is being delisted from Steam on June 1st (Saturday). Apparently PLAYISM is taking over the rights.

Game will be 65% off tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm trying to save money, but I can't say no to a soon to be delisted game at 65% off.
