Epic downgraded its revenue projections for EGS in 2024 from 1.1 billion to 800 million.
How can a publisher be okay with that policy? Basically its Epic that sets the price, no question asked...

Epic is trying to get Nitendo on PC
Maybe he should sue Epic for price fixing. So Epic sets all the prices?
Also this throws the Wolfire lawsuit into the trash
The virgin Tim vs the chad Phil, out-moneyhatting Epic and releasing games on everything.Epic is trying to get Nitendo on PC
Mortal Shell devs also gave their game away for peanuts. No confidence in their product at all. They would have made 5-10x more money on steam with how well souls like sell.Act sold Tony Hawks to Timmy for 4m??? God fucking damnit!!!
you are in the thread in which Mor is sad because SEGA DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE ME JUDGMENT 1 AND 2 EVEN THO WE SAVED THEM THANKS TO PERSONA 4 PC RELEASEI don't even know in which thread I am anymore
The thread of trial leaks.I don't even know in which thread I am anymore

... so this is current state, that Sony is considering this? I've been a fan of Playstation for quite a while, and I love their exclusives. I usually had no problem buying them day one full price. I've been so excited to replay them on PC. But if they participate in this, I have absolutely zero problem walking away from them this gen. This on top of the anti-consumer cross play crap and so on... there are so many other things to spend my time and money on. I get that I'm in a super minority, so my actions really won't make a difference, and that also sucks. And what sucks even worse is having to admit that I'm saying "Go, Microsoft!". Ugh.Epic is trying to get Nitendo on PC
Clearly not as we got already the first wave of releases and they were multistore.... so this is current state, that Sony is considering this? This is the anti-anime thread.
Its probably for different requested games so they can still do it.Clearly not as we got already the first wave of releases and they were multistore.
highly doubt that, to be honest ^^Its probably for different requested games so they can still do it.
I wouldn't be surprised if its for PS5 releases like Demon Souls and Returnal. Sony would easily take 35-40million a pop and put them on Steam a year later.
I just don't see Epic wanting to pay so much money for old PS4 games from 4+ years ago.
I think "awaiting feedback" means that Sony isn't even replying to their offers?... so this is current state, that Sony is considering this? It says right there that they didn't even bother trying. They would be laughed out of the room.Epic is trying to get Nitendo on PC
Sony is so money hungry right now it wouldn't surprise me if they did it. Especially if Days Gone doesn't perform that well on Steam I could see them going with Epic. They are probably bringing in very little from both DS and Returnal with the ridiculous 70$ prices. Getting 200 million from Epic would be huge for them.highly doubt that, to be honest ^^
It's the 13th most wishlisted game (at the time of posting). I think It'll do just fine.Sony is so money hungry right now it wouldn't surprise me if they did it. Especially if Days Gone doesn't perform that well on Steam I could see them going with Epic.
PlayStation just had its best year ever by every conceivable metric. Not sure where you get the impression that they're desperate for money.Sony is so money hungry right now it wouldn't surprise me if they did it. And as much as Sweeney likes to flush money down the toilet...I don't think he will do 40 million for an old PS4 game just to keep them away from Steam for a year. Seems way too expensive. They went after Godfall so if that is indication of anything I would guess Epic wants PS5 titles.
"Offer extended" implies that Sony replied in the past (and refused). So Tim increased his bid, and is now waiting for Sony's reply to the new offer.I think "awaiting feedback" means that Sony isn't even replying to their offers?
Don't think so, not necessarily. Sony could have outright ghosted them with Epic spamming them with more offers."Offer extended" implies that Sony replied in the past (and refused). So Tim increased his bid, and is now waiting for Sony's reply to the new offer.
True.Don't think so, not necessarily. Sony could have outright ghosted them.
The documents dates back to September 2020. Days Gone is not EGS exclusive so it's fair to assume they have turned down that offer, for now at least."Offer extended" implies that Sony replied in the past (and refused). So Tim increased his bid, and is now waiting for Sony's reply to the new offer.
don't think so?Btw, 50 members and 44 guests in the thread. Is this a new record?
I'm guessing they're comparing World War Z? Same genre and Google says it was F2P during the week that the date is mentioned.Compare 2020 EGS records to 2013 Steam records
Shows how much they value their single player IPAct sold Tony Hawks to Timmy for 4m??? God fucking damnit!!!
Lmao imagine having to reach so far back to cherry pick a figure where you can compare favorably to Steam. I guess it's not just in terms of feature that they're trying to compete with Steam from a decade ago.Compare 2020 EGS records to 2013 Steam records
Just asking, because I haven't seen so many people on here lately. Not a bad thing, btw.don't think so?
I remember sega I remember ....we all know you are lying yet you still choose to lie
Sega: βWe do not have plans to bring Lost Judgment to PC at this timeβ
Don't expect Lost Judgment to hit PC any time soonwww.pcgamesn.com

They reached the same way with Metro Exodus launch comparing to Last Light Steam launch numbers. Its really embarrassing.Lmao imagine having to reach so far back to cherry pick a figure where you can compare favorably to Steam.
