The lack of proper singleplayer is what gets me. And while it's to be expected from early access, insane lack of planes, choppers, tanks, sucks.
well its basically remake of original OpF on new engine ... and whit what original Flashpoint campaign was about ... its not good timing with the invasion in UA

OpF was some good shit. Had all the expansions as well. Is there any plan from Bohemia to include SP to this new one?

From the amount of actual AI people who can't even get access, I imagine it would be an extremely long wait, and I'd probably not be able to play around to the degree I could if I had it locally, unlimited unfettered access.

I see what you're talking about, that seems really unfortunate. Thankfully even the most arrogant of my peers in college were at least proud about some actual project they were doing.

It sounds like you're going the pro route with the photogrammetry. I just don't I would have the skill to do anything besides export and import. I tried to use Blender, taking courses, and I had to do some basic 3d modelling and animation in school, and in other medians. I don't have a knack for it. (I've tried different perspectives like 'drawing', 'sculpting', and raw vertex editing; and stuff in game engines... I'm amazingly bad at all of them visually. Things would go bad.
it's probably gonna be a loong wait yeah, i mean it's really advanced stuff, it feels almost like some form of secret government technology program that is in a movie; "We're going to steal from the government; the technology to make anything you write into concrete images", hopefully it's just gonna be easy to use when i finally get it at 98 years of age

glad to see someone relate, these guys in my class have no dignity; a guy even tried getting one of my functions for project in exchange of money (knowing i've used most of it on travelling), saying shit like "money for you, function for me", sounds like something a red guy with two big horns on his head would say honestly

i wouldn't call it too much pro, my basic attempt at a workflow is to try to get a photogrammetry model going in the first place (as taking pictures that work is hard and tedious), and then exporting it to blender, where i then just use sculpting to smoothen the face and add some details, and then i just put down a thing that emits light, fix the camera in blender and render until it's like 1/4th way done because the preview image is already detailed enough to let me work in photoshop

Price changes in selected territories [Updated April 2022]

We also want to make clear that changes will only affect future releases; products that are already live won’t receive new local pricing.

Adjustments will be made for releases of future games in specific markets where we’ve identified significant gaps between our prices and the standard; territories concerned are Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Not all changes will be increases in the price tag! In Australia, for example, this will result in a slight price decrease.
Basically, an increase in the price tag for a few selected countries (see quote) and only Aussies will be lucky to get games a bit cheaper.
Only future releases are affected by, question is how much are they going to increase the price in those regions.

I managed to finish The Centennial Case the other day!

...on PS5, because Square pushed the "fuck PC gamers" button again, with the Steam version having 1080p video all throughout (basically, its the PS4 version). Still, figured I'd share my thoughts, as the game is featured in this month's Steam OT.

I enjoyed it a lot overall, though it's not an a recommendation without caveats. The story starts slow, but ramps up nicely and manages to give you those "blood runs cold" moments you get in the best VNs. The closest analogue feel wise is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney's courtroom scenes, with the investigation portions being largely automated.

The "building a case" sections where youre sorting through the evidence are a big momentum killer though - while they help you sort out your thoughts and examine all the facts of the case, you have to sort through all the red herrings as well for completion's sake, which takes an endless amount of time. With some cases being as intense as they are, knowing you have one of those before getting back to the lawyering is a little dispiriting.

Still, I had a lot of fun overall. I don't see this game lighting the sales charts on fire, so it should be cheap enough after a couple months, its an easy recommend to VN fans at 50% off or better. Dont get it for full price if the theme isnt your bag!

Monster Hunter Rise (Switch, PC) has sold 9 million units (1.3 million additional units since December 31, 2021)
I have no idea how much the Steam version sold last quarter, but I'd assume it did at least 1 million. The base version of MHR should pass Iceborne before the expansion comes out.

Yep, that's Dark Forces alright, is there something really new and updated about the version in that video?
Yeah they managed to implement reverse engineered iMuse. It's explained under the link more detailed.

That project is overall to get these games to run better on modern systems.

The Force Engine is a project with the goal to reverse engineer and rebuild the Jedi Engine for modern systems and the games that used that engine - Dark Forces and Outlaws. The project will include modern, built-in tools, such as a level editor and will make it easy to play Dark Forces and Outlaws on modern systems as well as the many community mods designed to work with the original games.

Did you buy it for gaming?
halfway, i mostly needed a new laptop as mine has 14 stab wounds and is held together by tape at this point, and i heard that it could also run some games at decent enough specs for a laptop, so i went ahead yeah

don't jinx it by saying that it's the ONE model that apparently SUCKS at gaming and it requires a handicapped spot when it parks

Nice.

Also, fuck Jim Ryan and Sony leaders.
I wonder whart it is for though. TLOU Remake PC ? Or the Faction multiplayer ?
Both ?

Honestly I can totally see TLOU Remake being announced for PS5 & PC exactly like Uncharted even though it will come 6 months or so later.

Speaking as part of a corporate strategy meeting, Sony bigwig Kenichiro Yoshida has hinted that the company's acquisition of Bungie represents a "major step forward in becoming more multiplatform"

Yoshida also touched briefly on PlayStation's emerging PC business, explaining that the company aims to "provide access to our games to as many users as possible" and it'll be "rolling out" more PlayStation Studios titles onto storefronts like Steam and the Epic Games Store in the future.
Problem is that, while they have a clear direction, they don't have a clear planning in terms of timing, so please be patient U_U

God of War released 4 months ago, PC ports (at least decent ones) are 1+ year projects.
True but if the rumors are true they've been sitting on some finished ports for a long time now. I remember when many reputable journalists were almost guaranteeing that a Bloodborne PC port was about to be announced. Well, that was in June 2020, nearly 2 years ago.

Ghost of Tsushima is another port that is allegedly already finished, but not still not a word about it, which is funny since the Uncharted Collection was announced like 9 months ago and still hasn't come out. I'm not desperate (maybe a little with BB PC lmao), but as it was said here before, there doesn't seem to be a clear roadmap or planning when it comes to Sony's PC ports, just like Sega and specially Atlus lol.

V Rising has blown up it seems, over 50k, didn't even know about it until I checked the global seller chart. A lot of people say it's as fun as Valheim and such, so Im getting it.
The game does look like a lot of fun. Valheim comparisons are a plus.

I'll pick it up down the line after a few updates. Maybe this winter seal.

The Deck has so much potential as a jrpg machine. I've played like 3hrs of FF2 pixel remaster on it so far and just feels so good to storm through a game like that. Having a 5-6hr battery life is amazing and dpad is damn good for the use. The audio/speakers are really good too.

There is still several other FF games I haven't picked up on steam and never played. I think I am gonna do 3d remake of III next after 2. Also gonna pick up World of FF. I've owned it on PS4 for forever now but never bothered. But on Deck is like a rejuvenating desire to play these type of games again. The machine really is perfect for them.

Also Souls Hackers 2 on Deck this fall will be a killer app :cat-pizza-blob:. I hope Atlus doesn't fuck up the port or anything that could cause issues on SteamOS.

So yeah, Garage is legit.

Anytime someone even whispers "like PS1 - Loaded", I leap like a cat hearing the can opener fire up. I love that series so much.

Garage is a sweet hybrid of Hotline Miami an Darkwood. Top-down action, but with a measured pace. Tons of 80's VHS-filtered fuzzy atmosphere. With loads of suspense & dread.

Great aesthetic with an exceptional soundtrack.

Think it was on a Humble Bundle some moths back so you may even own it without realizing it.

Good stuff.

What is it with fucking cloud saves ?
First I see I dared to not pay my dime to lord Nintendo for more than 180 days and lost my saves for Picross S1-4.
Then today I launch Voxelgram on Deck and my progress didn’t transfer ? Are you fucking kidding me ?

As an aside, and yeah I’m a little angry, great job checking Deck compatibility, Valve. First launch I had to kill the game as it wouldn’t totally quit. Second launch, coming back from the option menu the big modes icons were black.
Thorough check, much impressed.
