I still feel so weird promoting myself but I was asked if I would do the honors this time and well..

I'll be live in about five minutes and folks are welcome to stop by and hang out if you feel up to it. I'm probably going to be playing a little more Neon Abyss today with possibly something else a little later. This will be my first Tuesday stream so I'll be figuring this one out as I go, hopefully without too many things exploding.
PossiblyPudding streams continue to deliver the best content!

I just played through almost all of this with some friends

As far as videogames go, this is probably one of the best escape rooms (Not including irl ones of course), great vartiety of puzzles with different themes.
Only some of the puzzles could be a bit harder.

Yeah I think I'm finally done with Phantasy Star Online 2. I draw the line on a game when it feels like it's playing me rather than the other way around and I think I finally hit it with the "ENDGAME IS HERE! (after a whole fucking year)" Trinitas.

I'm basically Shut-Out of being able to do S-Rank runs of it - In order to be part of an S-Rank party, you need to unlock S-Rank yourself first - Which means I can't do that, and no one is running or joining A-Rank parties anymore to grind out the unlock for S-Rank barely a month after its release, so uh yeah GG anyone who had a life is out of the window to be able to play actual Endgame Content.

One less GaaS in my rotation/More room for Genshin - It managed to last with me longer than Halo Infinite at least somehow, of which I hear Season 2 is an even bigger OOF.

Don't see myself coming back until some serious structural issues with the game are addressed such as the one just mentioned. The game simply has way too many issues going against it beyond just lack of content, and I feel it's in the rotten spot where it's lacking in both Quality and Quantity.

Some parts of NGS are pretty much base PSO2 but worse...
Trinitas is pretty much PSO2 Extreme Quests, but worse, Mining Rig urgent quests are pretty much PSO2 Mining Base urgent quests but worse, combat areas at their core are pretty much PSO2 Expeditions, but worse...

I hope NGS gets a change in direction in the future, the original PSO2 changed its directors over the years, Episodes 1 to 3 had one director, Episodes 4 and 5 had a different one, and Episode 6 had another one. Currently the director for NGS was the director for the worst parts of PSO2, Episodes 4 and 5... :/

A new region is about to come out in June together with the lvl 60 cap, but I'm not expecting improvements for the updates in the following 6 months until the next region. I'm guessing the roadmap is gonna be announced in the updates livestream next week, so we'll see.

Haha it's so great seeing these after the streams. Thank you for taking and sharing them! :cat-heart-blob:

And thank you to everyone that shows up to hang out! It really means a lot. :blobhug:

Streaming is something I've considered for a long long time but was always a little nervous about it. That in addition to my struggles with low self esteem is why I often gave up before I ever started. I never thought I'd even be okay at it, still kind of don't at times, but after the great time I had doing those few charity streams the last couple years and some nudges from a couple friends I figured why not finally give it a shot. And I still get a little nervous before every stream but like I've said before it's been fun so far and that's the important thing I think.

Call of Cthulhu finished. 14 hours and some change.

Very MEH overall. It's not like the game is doing anything particularly bad, just that what it tries is, yeah, meh. Some mix of choose your own adventure, tabletop skill checks and walking simulator. Not helped by a plot that never touches 'interesting'.
Endings are whatever, very Lovecraft pastiche 101.

I don't regret playing it, it had its moments, but yeah, forgettable and totally not a Mythos must play.

I'm happy to report that Project Nimbus, the mech game in the Fanatical bundle that also has Neon Abyss, seems to work perfectly on the Deck despite being labelled "Unsupported" with Proton Experimental (haven't tried it with regular proton, I straight go to Experimental in such cases).

I feel like I need a urban planning masters degree to play Factorio effectively. :fearful-face:
I have 14 years of industrial production planning and shop floor automation experience and in spite of that my factories always seem to end up as a spaghetti nightmare. :notlikethisblob:

I was thinking about "games that ruined other games for me" because there's nothing like them.
I want to play something like The Painscreek Killings and I can't find anything with the same good atmosphere and gameplay. I heard about Kona and Firewatch but they seem more centered around wildlife rather than sub-urban setting and investigation. Another one with good reviews is Infra but it seems quite different from TPK too.
The other classic one is Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Nothing even close to it.

Painscreek Killing is really good. Very creepy and absolutely no hand-holding.

Personally i like murder soul suspect as well, but it is not as good. And the stealth / combat was pretty out of place.

The use of alcohol and the inclusion of in-game purchases are also cited as reasons for the rating. “The player’s character can order alcoholic drinks at a bar. The drinks affect the player’s statistics, but do so in a random manner with negative outcomes possible,” claims the PEGI website
Just like in real life :evilblob:. Remember, drink with moderation.

The in-game purchases don't surprise me, hopefully it's not a sign of a possible Babylon's Fall V2.

Man, Eiyuden Rising is what i need in these times. A game that is chill as hell, relentlessly positive and not too hard.

Fucking US politics and things going on here make life shitty, at least the games I play can be fun and light hearted.

"A game of Sonys, which I wont reveal the SteamDB page for, got their Steam page 1 week after PS5 release."

Hum. :sneaky:
Chuck is a big troll, I don't believe. Won't hurt at all to reveal the SteamDB ID for the game.

Got some more Neon Abyss coming up in about ten minutes if folks would like to stop by. Just be prepared for a lot of meowing.. I seem to find myself with one of the cat guns more often than not. Completely unintentional, of course! :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-winking-eye:

Also with me adding another day to my schedule I totally understand if these posts become a little annoying so I can always spin them off elsewhere if needed.

I obviously wont reveal the SteamID if it might lead to someone finding out who leaked it (which could be a friend of mine). If the page is online, we can go back to it again and see that I didnt lie.

I only troll in EGS threads.
Send the id to me on PM if it's something else than Sackboy. I won't leak it as I have no intention of making things worse for anyone.

When the store page is up, how do I know it's the game you talk about?

I don't know what you mean by may 21, we've passed that date too.
