I cant wait for my Deck. Should hopefully be in the next quarters batch.
I moved recently and so haven't had my PC hooked up for about 3 weeks. We bought a lovely little bungalow but its pretty old and the previous owner was a old widowed lady who (understandably) has let the general maintenance slip so it needs a lot of work. I've ripped out the bathroom already as there are about 4 leaks, floor joists are rotten so im in full DIY repair mode, along side a million other jobs to do to the place. Not got much time for games.
Plus there isn't really a good spot for the PC in the new place. Ive just set it up on the floor in the living room to have a bit of a go (Elden Ring still the game on the go, i did try out the new Stanley Parable). It can't stay here though.

Would love having a deck. Like many of you, having my steam library on the go is something I've wanted for a long time. No idea when I'll be able to afford it though.

This looks so great visually and as an idea to merge all the different stuff (although I can imagine the adventure stuff, while padding the length nicely, being a chore when you feel like replaying the game compared to the action sequences) but the core gameplay obviously trying to ape Metal Slug seems quite off

I love it when I decide to replay a game, get two minutes into my new playthrough and unlock an achievement.
Just killed myself on the helicopter blades in Prey when you first leave the apartment and one pinged up. Made me laugh, but I have no idea why I didn't try and end myself that way the first time I played. I'm like a lemming when it comes to helicopter blades, or trying to get of airplaines mid flight or any heavy machinery related death at all really.

They can't go wrong with that one. It's not Bloodborne but it will smash Steam nonetheless.
Honestly I can see it releasing next year though, there are PS4 games left to bring to PC (Ghost, maybe even The Last of Us).
Techland's support for Dying Light has been amazing.
So devolver sale started. Looks like some decent sales in there.

i'm currently working on a small project where i'm gonna recreate my dorm room in half life alyx so i can find out where to put the corpses, and i recently discovered the amazing topic of photogrammetry
i'm currently planning to just take pictures of every model in my room, and just port them to source 2's hammer editor and see where it goes from there (while taking breaks for exams of course)
photogrammetry is most likely the coolest thing this entire year, the results are literally amazing, it's so fucking cool how you can get these models just by taking like, 60 images, sometimes even 40, and these aren't just fucking pictures, these are ACTUAL 3D MODEL MESHES

We experimented a bit for fun with photogrammetry at my work a couple of years ago. You could get some really cool results and make cool animations/videos from the models.
Sadly the company that made the software we tried out were bought by Epic....

I made this with my Mavic Mini drone when i got it for one outdoor project i was working at the time. I would call it a success for a first try and manual flying and capturing (surveys like this are usually done automatically by drone path programmed in advance).
Interestingly no one is talking about the monopoly that Epic is building in the 3D engine space when it comes to stuff like that, for example in the movie industry. But to be fair also, they are building some really cool stuff that makes new types of movie making possible.

If I had to guess I would say yes, GoT might be a 2022 release but sadly I no longer see a pattern within Sony releases on PC.

But in my opinion they are missing opportunity this year because their own lineup is thin. In these quiet months Sony PC releases would be amazing.With GoW being wildly successful they would be silly not to double down on PC for both single player and service games.

I was going to say, seems like some Hollywood accounting.
If S-E were offloading their losses onto their Western studios as some sort of creative accounting scheme, why did they just sell most of their Western branches? The last thing you want to do is run the risk of your books being closely scrutinised if you're evading taxes.
I'm sure they are doing something dodgy with their taxes (what company isn't?) but I think they just don't have a clue how to manage their Western studios.
