Haha! Hope you aren't making my mistake and go for too cheap and thus undrinkable. As long as you stay above 2.5€ per bottle you should be fine.:D

Speaking of meta, I've been so damn asocial lately! Sorry guys.
Nice to read you ! Stay strong, life is shit for so many people when you think about it or look around.
Pretty sure it was 2.50 give or take.

Yeah, I’m living the life.

Honestly, regardless of how low-tech a game is, it could still be the case that it's simply badly made and doesn't run at 60 on Switch without extra engineering work, and that any engineering work is too much for S-E. (Of course, the same is true for every HW platform, but with the current set Switch will be the first to run into any implementation limits)
The game released on PSVita as well, FWIV.
The original game can be run under emulation with 60 fps on PSVita, using a PSP virtual machine running an unoptimized SNES emulator)

I've been having lots of problems with store and library pages on Steam after the recent changes.

For example, text/image duplication or corruption, and worse of all, I place my mouse cursor on something, and it's actually interacting with text/links above or below my cursor. It seems the cursor is in one place, but I'm actually selecting other.

There's an option on Steam that corrects this ("Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views"), but enabling this, for some reason, creates problems with, at least, Street Fighter V (the game runs in slow motion).

Anyone else experiencing this?

I still don't like the new Steam client but i haven't had any issues that i've noticed.

Just checked and Chat & Friends are Disconnected too... oh they just came back. Must be a server issue. Yup, gone again. "Unreachable" this time.

Windows 10 1909 November update is officially out for non-insiders. You have to install a new update for 1903, restart and check Windows Update again.

Is the 3900x worth the £200 difference over the 3700x?

I can get the 3900x on ebay for £531.92 or the 3700x for £265.99

Already have my mobo, cpu cooler and RAM sorted
from a review:
The 3900X was ~13-14% faster than the 2700X when testing with World of Tanks, World War Z and Battlefield V and an even more significant 20% performance improvement in Far Cry New Dawn.
At double the price I don't think the 3900x is worth it for games.

I would say it's not worth the price.
Twice as much, and if you get 10% more performance it's already a miracle.

Humble been kinda slacking lately. I guess because another sale season is coming.
Hopefully they pull out the big guns for Choice at least.

What’s the name of this game reminiscent of Paper Mario again ? Someone praised it some days ago.

Thank you but no, basically I remember that it has a switch port, that someone said thar everybody should experience this gem, and I’m middly sure the protag looks like a white bean. Parts or all of the previous sentence might be erroneous, but where would be the fun otherwise :anguished-face:

For those who bought the recent Utah expansion for American Truck Simulator, there's a mini-event of sorts going on.

Just make a delivery from Salt Lake City to anywhere, and you'll earn the Honey Bee cabin accessory.
This item can be sold on the Steam marketplace (currently selling for €0,80+), for those who don't care about these small cosmetic items.

Wuppo !

Anyone having played it and wanting to share their input ?
I never finished it (I dropped the game because of work, and I've been meaning to re-start it), but from what I played the game is a lot of fun.
Very charming.

Forza Horizon has somewhat ruined racing games for me. Ive tried to play both NFS Payback and Heat on Origin Premier, but they feel very empty and soulless to mee. The driving feels weird too. Will probably just play them until my sub ends this month (or next month if I get that free Premier month) and call it quit on Heat and Payback.

Increasingly excited for Fallen Order. But that and Stormland (VR) is releasing on the same day. Shit.

Here's a random thought/question...

Remember back in the day when third person cameras used to suck? Totally flipping out near walls, pointing in the wrong directions or clipping through the walls and showing some nice wallpaper instead of what you need to see.

This was perhaps around the PS1 era or so...
So, when did this phenomenon disappear? I mean, you pretty much never encounter wayward cameras like that in games anymore...

Does the 3700x benefit much from overclocking?

According to PC gamer it doesn't

As with other Ryzen CPUs, I didn't do extensive overclocking tests on the Ryzen 7 3700X. That's because it generally doesn't help much. You sacrifice boost clocks for higher all-core clocks, though with the 3700X there's at least a bit more gain from enabling Precision Boost Overdrive. It's still only 200MHz extra at best, which means less than a 5 percent improvement, and often in the 1-3 percent range. The days of massive gains via overclocking your CPU are largely behind us now. Intel's Core i9-9900K might get an extra 400MHz vs. stock, and AMD's CPUs might get an extra 200-300MHz, which just isn't that exciting. It's the blessing and curse of increased competition.

Just curious, I'm currently at this point in Disco Elysium

I've just found Ruby and it's Day 5

How much of the main questline remains?

Nope. It will automatically OC, manual is mostly waste of time.
Using custom power plan may give small boost.

I know its Meta council here, not Era but I know that some of you are still a part of Era. Your choice of course. Just happened to notice ANOTHER thread on era celebrating violence.

Much appreciated, cheers :)

Fascinating that game published by Sony's indie label is releasing on Steam/Switch before PS1 :thinking-face:

sequel-ish thing to Sword of the Stars: The Pit just launched from Early Access

Check gg.deals and sync your account with it. It's my deciding factor on what and what not to buy in sales lately.

What other factors do you use? I have it sync'd but it really only shows what I have wishlisted. Do you use it to search other stuff too?

Not that particular problem, but I can't see the news section anymore.

Tried adding it manually, but no dice.

A while ago I was missing the recent friend activity (which is still kinda broken), but then it appeared and replaced the news shelf. At this point I can only conclude that Steam has become self-aware, and is toying with us mortals.

So it looks like I have a job interview this Thursday for that one temp place..... I wonder how it will go.... will this be the end of my time at my current work place.

So I finished up an H game very recently....was it worth the money? I would say yes, How ever if it cost me more than what they were charging than I don't think I would have gotten the game. The mini games are weird, the first part of them makes sense but not the second part of them.

And I glad that EA is letting us pre-load Jedi Fallen Order since it would have taken me over 8 hours just to download the game.

I think the recent friend activity worked for a grand total of two days for me... it simply doesn't show most of the time. But at least I still have the What's new section.

This beta was a little rushed (specially for Valve standards) so .... maybe you are right and all the bugs are getting together and becoming sentient :)

These animations are insane. Click on the twitter account to see a lot more. I would post em, but some can get gruesome.

I’m kinda getting a State of Emergency vibe from this. Speaking of, could use that on Steam (after a healthy EGS waiting period, naturally.)
