That falls under spending more. Not like Investors and shareholders didn't get any money before the raise.no, they won't ... they'll spend the same (or less) ... and the shareholders and execs will pocket the extra cash

never before at leastI wonder if Ubi will dare to ban people's account for using a VPN. I know this is the Steam thread but just curious about the outcome of this since it might set a precedent and mostly since it was reported by press news.
The Aya Neo looks great, save for the seethrough plastic shell. I really, really want a good portable PC to do stuff like this.LOVE THEM
Wow this is incredibly shocking, who could have predicted people on PC want to play Atlus games too?Looks like Sega is happy with their Atlus ports.

Well, one thing is for sure, SMT 3 HD is happening as there was steam traces on source code, so it's a matter of when not if.Looks like Sega is happy with their Atlus ports.

It's a juggernaut, Persona 4 was a hit when it released and you can still see it going up in places when it's on sale, so yeah, no wonder why it sold that much, it's a fantastic game.According to the FY Ending March 2021 2Q Results Presentation, the release of Persona 4 Golden for Steam generated approximately 2 billion yen (approximately $19.05 million USD) for the company in June 2020 alone.
Yeah I just don't believe any AC praise at this point. It's so dull and generic, and I say that having loved them back in the day.
I actually like Ubisoft's openworld games for what they are. They are like fast food to me. Braindead, fun, and good for short gaming sessions, but they are also repetitive, predictable, and as you said, tedious to many. They are also never exploration-oriented. So comparing it with what Breath of the Wild did is weird, when the latter excels in exploration, level design and creating a feel of adventure in an uncharted world. That is interesting. I just saw a (german) review video which basically trashed the open world experience.
It especially highlighted the tedious mini quests which break the flow of the game. E.g. constantly searching for keys (some chests have two or three locks?).
Tastes are different i guess

We're just days away now and the nervousness is still there but the excitement is growing as well. I did a test stream earlier today that I'll link to if folks are interested and I'll be doing another on Wednesday or Thursday for a quick double check on everything. The first test went well though I have a couple minor audio settings to adjust.I'm going to be doing a 24 hour stream on November 13 as a part of Extra Life to try to raise money for children's hospitals. I won't deny that I'm pretty nervous but it's also something I've wanted to do for years so I am kind of excited.

I wish some games would unlock the same day in Australia. Waiting that extra day sucks ass sometimes.Great reviews for Sakuna. I might be playing this instead of Yakuza or Valhalla.

We're only a few hours apart (SEA here), and I totally agree.I wish some games would unlock the same day in Australia. Waiting that extra day sucks ass sometimes.
Yep, Asian gamers got fucked. The Xbox version was delayed as well. Why the fuck SEGA region locking Asia region from buying Yakuza 7? Sony exclusivity bullshit?
And currently I'm watching a SEGA promoted Yakuza 7 stream, on PC, where the streamer live in Japan where the game is region locked. What the fuck.
Yeah i buy very few early access games. I dont see the appeal of buying an unfinished game (although most AAA releases these days also need a few patches to be considered 'finished'). The ones i do buy are devs that i want to support or are nearly at the release version. Some do seem pretty pricey for taking a gamble.I was really looking forward to Prodeus, but doesn't $25 (USA) seem like a lot for early access? Is it just me, or are early access games getting more expensive all the time? I don't want to be a jerk and I know they're a small team, but jeez.
I'm sure I'll grumble about this a bit more and then buy it.
Incredible.Tetris Effect Connected is now out on Game Pass
It doesn't support VR because of an issue with the Windows Store wrapper
Persona 4 is a fucking juggernaut, HOLY SMOKES!!!!!
SEGA posted performances of some titles.
Persona 4 Golden generated around 20 millions dollars.
Total War SAGA Troy, with 7 millions download, generated around 32 millions dollars. That makes it around 4 dollars per copies. Big success ! :"")
It did well on Steam. I'm hoping for more Persona titles to come!SEGA posted performances of some titles.

The P4G number seems weird to me. The game sold 500k copies as of July 10 which would be, at best, $10 million in revenue before considering regional prices and Steam's cut. I'm not disputing the numbers since they're in a financial statement, I'm just confused as to how they arrived at that number.

This oddly reminds me of Lost Ember. Dunno if that's what you're looking for though. Can anyone help me remembering a game? I think it released either 2018 or 2019, had a playable fox or similar canine animal as the playable character. Also should've been more in the 30€ range with the price. I tried searching on Steam but couldn't find it. It is neither Spirit of the North nor Embers of Mirrim
The game was just selling so quickly within the first 2 months. I remember that people were guessing that when Sega/Atlus posted that number on that date, it was an already outdated data. The P4G number seems weird to me. Do you know if they improved the game since release?Wondering about picking MechWarrior 5 once it drops next month on Steam / GOG. Guess I might pick if it comes with proper regional pricing and a nice discount.
With all the feedback from EGS players !Do you know if they improved the game since release?
True, but I have to lock Valhalla with RTSS to sixty to get a smooth, stutter free experience. Letting it run uncapped introduces micro stutters, just as with Legion. After playing a bit of Legion and Valhalla, I find Valhalla not only to be the better game (so far at least), but also to be much better optimized.
I decided to look around to see if I could find anything about this, and judging by what I could find in their subreddit the answer is yes, but dev communication has been really barebones and the improvements don't make the game great in any way. Mods and coop are what really saves it.Do you know if they improved the game since release?
I'm so dumb, sorry in advance for the question, but isn't it one of VRR jobs to reduce the impact of these micro stutters ?True, but I have to lock Valhalla with RTSS to sixty to get a smooth, stutter free experience. Letting it run uncapped introduces micro stutters, just as with Legion.
They also improved the adaptive quality setting (adjusts rendering resolution on the fly). It is good at getting rid of those small spikes under 60 and their new (?) upscaling method looks pretty descent.
Native 1440p
1440p adaptive
Anyway, I'm getting 1440p/60 this way and it plays good.
Though I'm still not in England, things might go down there.
For the story: It's an okay Vikings game so far. I'm rather surprised.
A stutter is a frame being late, which in that specific interval might bring the framerate to something in the single-digit fps. I don't know that any G-Sync monitor has the ability to rewind time yet .I'm so dumb, sorry in advance for the question, but isn't it one of VRR jobs to reduce the impact of these micro stutters ?
To be precise, I'm good on the effect G-FreeSync has on tearing, it's the other way around that I have more trouble understanding.
Basically what texhnolyze said in his answer, P4 sales were so sky rocket that when they published the data it might very well be old data by that point. The P4G number seems weird to me. The game sold 500k copies as of July 10 which would be, at best, $10 million in revenue before considering regional prices and Steam's cut. Changing topics, I expect P5R to eventually come to PC. I have always assumed Sony signs some sort of exclusivity deal with Atlus for mainline Persona games, especially after they showed up at a Persona event and discussed how important the series is to them. If the exclusivity window was only one year, then P5R should be available to be ported whenever (although the fact the western version came out 5 months later might throw things off).
Yeah, I imagined this answer (the stutter being really hardcore). But I took the chance to ask more globally, because again, I'm good on the effect of VRR when there are too much frames, but what is the benefit of such screens in the opposite case.A stutter is a frame being late, which in that specific interval might bring the framerate to something in the single-digit fps. I don't know that any G-Sync monitor has the ability to rewind time yet .
That or I'm misunderstanding the problem.
is it any of these? Can anyone help me remembering a game? I think it released either 2018 or 2019, had a playable fox or similar canine animal as the playable character. Growing your rice farm is not a minigame, it's part of the main gameplay elements.Who was talking about Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin ?
It catched my eye last month, and I see now there are even minigames for growing your rice farm! Looks good!
