Basically, yeah. The vibe of this thread has always been "a chatroom in all but name" to me.

That wasn't happening yesterday. Fml lmao. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the lines are fixed in position ( if I move the window the lines stay where they are relative to the screen itself) and only appear in the right half of the screen. Anyway, I'll stop discussing this here I guess since it seems to bother some people...

I was in a good mood, why not watch something ? Well maybe because the Plex installed on my PC decided it would be novel to stream a fucking 720p video in a sorta laggy motion.
No big deal, fuck you wireless, will plug the hdm… wait, why does the picture on the tv is my desktop with a myriad little green pixels added ? Oh, it fix itself when I change the hdmi I use on the TV ?

After my week end with the bios I swear I’m at my limit, I decided to smoke a cig and do nothing, it’s not worth it, everything fail.
I’m legit down, feels like everything I try to do fails. I’m tired of that shit.

When I had to search for replacement monitor years ago - vertical lines was a very common problem for many crappy ones. 99.5% it's a monitor issue.
Just avoid that brand; what's the model?

It's a super high end Samsung one, the G7 Odyssey lol. That model does have some issues although different ones than what I'm experiencing.

I didn't know the gyro and touchpad were native that is cool but since the adaptive triggers are only 3rd party I suppose I should config each game externally at the same time...

I made sure i bought some certified Display Port cables but i'm damned if i can find the manufacturer name or packaging at the moment.

I have/had 5 displayport cables and only 2 of them worked perfectly, i 2nd the notion of always checking cables for displayport ;)

I was watching some stream and looks like aim assist is unreliable right now, I don't play with a controller so I can say for sure.

Halo looks good in Ultra and in Low (with some obvious lod switches and pop in not visible in stills). I probably won't be able to max out the campaign going by the tutorial having instances where at Low I just managed to stay at ~59fps at the most demanding bit and at Ultra it was dipping to ~48 and mostly at ~55. The actual training botmatch I tried stayed at ~60 with unnoticable in the chaos dips at Ultra. I can probably still enjoy the campaign when it arrives if it's not like the worst part of the tutorial (which has nice cinematic stuff btw). Hopefully I can stay at ~50-60 with high settings (there are things to reduce that are not going to be so prominent like accuracy of shadowing, volumetrics, clouds, reflections, amount of shadows per light etc. and I could max textures and other stuff with no issue) rather than have it dip at < 50 more often than not due to the amount of chaos and stuff happening as in that case I'll just lock it to 30 and max everything. These shots are all Ultra (I think, some settings needed a restart to apply) and the last pair on Low. I need to clean my PC cos the CPU did temp throttle a bit.

Yea Halo multi is really good and plays so smooth. Slayer and zone capture modes are fantastic. The hold the skull thing fucking sucks tho. trash. Capture the flag can be a lot of fun but teammates can be really dumb sometimes.

Really excited to see what they do with the campaign. With this gameplay and free roam far cry style open world should be a lot of fun on higher difficulties.

It just mind boggling how much of a amateur hour those "definitive" editions are. They really are shitting on such a legacy since they removed the old ones and these trash ports are the only way for new players to play those games.

I was using my Xbox 360 mainly just to play Nier G and now that's it's on Xbox Backcompat, I just want to extract my save file (upload it to the cloud) and basically never touch my Xbox 360 again. I have had my Xbox 360 Slim since Black Friday 2012.


Also Park Beyond got a store page.

I think the people working on it probably knew, and maybe the plan was to replace those models later with ones that actually used the polygons better? With efforts like this, I'd always be careful to blame the developers, who certainly know well how many corners were cut. Rather, I'd blame the publisher who didn't give them the time they need to polish and fix things.
