I don't understand the gog deal. Why stop using a service because of one bad tweet, which itself I see nothing wrong, I think
We should be able to talk about it, but I don't believe in creating an OT or a community here for them or their products, or even advertising them by posting trailers etc; They don't deserve the press. I do think the situation and what's happen should definitely be talked about, otherwise, people wouldn't know why it's frowned upon. I can only speak personally, that I will probably side-eye people who are well versed in what's happening, but still continue to support them.
I'm not someone with a lot of money, I'm not someone with a huge following on any form of social media-- It's my small way of a combined effort to get a big corporation to realize what they're doing is bad. If they're going to be like that, then I'm not going to support their platforms or their products. If a lot of people do it, they have to take notice and do something about it. Whereas any good company worth their salt would simply cut ties or do something of note to make amends and show that they're not the way they're being perceived. The lives and feelings of trans people are more important than any game, any company, any person.

I agree with that, bit if anybody wants to make a GOG OT or post the newest 2077 Trailer thats fine too... one can talk about problems but people also should be able to just talk about GOG, CDP and games
Yeah let people talk about both the game and the issues, as long as people are informed about the issues they can make up their own mind. Assuming the games themselves aren't promoting problematic materials. You're already promoting the game in some form anyway even if you're only having discussion about the tweets, people already made up their mind and their purchase decision won't change. It's a gaming forum so most of everyone already know of the game.
I don't really use GoG much so I'm probably just going to wait for the old games to come to Steam instead of purchasing from there. I only bought games there because they offered greater discounts most of the time.

Yeah, it's like their 4th stupid tweet, and the Twitter profile of the guy who handles the account is not very nice either (or his old website, which was full GamerGate). It's sad because I like the games they make and liked the idea behind GOG (not their new approach at making games exclusive though).

Yeah, they're not a small company by any means, and yet when hiring for this position, there's no way someone didn't see all their previous work. I had over 100 hours on Witcher 3 and upwards to 200 if you include the first 2. I've given them benefit of the doubt in the past, because I do believe in accidents, or people not understanding a reference -- but it's honestly happened too many times for it to be a coincidence. I mean, a recent example, is DQXI. It was probably my most anticipated game, and I waited for Square to answer for Sugiyama before I made my choice, and I still haven't played the game, and probably ever wont.
There are OBVIOUS red flags, and there are situations that require maybe some waiting before I do something like deleting my GoG account and removing all CDPR games from my steam account. Which I did. I also understand Square's stance and how shit it was in that particular situation. But given how large of a company they are, I just wont support any team that works with Sugiyama, but I'll still support other teams within the company.
I just can't continue supporting CDPR in any form in good faith after this and their half-assed response to all this.

Seeing Death's Gambit as a daily is just reminding me how excited people were for that game. I think it's been around close to when Eitr was shown off as well? Even if the game ends up being bad or poorly received, it still sucks to see an indie dev team work and put so much time into a game only to see it come short like that.
Looks like we got a new Humble bundle and it's quite good one for those who don't have those games

It looks pretty good for some co-op, but I'd personally bite at $10. The game seems really hate it or love it, and I wouldn't want to be stuck without a refund option.

yeah, having an option to refund for games you aren't 100% sure about is always good ... you never know 
Speaking of refund, I wonder if I should refund Resonance of Fate for now. I really won't have the time to play it anytime soon as I'm still busy with AC Odyssey and Red Dead 2 is just around the corner. I think I still can pick it up again at the end of the year. I only have one week left to submit my request.
btw lashman for the next thread, just make it PC Gaming and not just Steam.
Also you don't need to use the same subtitle as the one on Era, just use one that's voted by the gang here or one that is related to the month or a game releasing on that month.
