Those new art assets look sweet!
yep that was my first thought, too.Looks like Clock Tower.
They said 6 years after the first game ships. That could be 4 years away by itself. By the time they ship the first game they'll have experience with unreal engine development and their production pipeline in general will be established. Doesn't seem too dramatic for them to try and get 2 sequels out in 6 years after that. It'll get delayed, probably, because everything always does, but this doesn't seem like an outrageous plan.
Seems like Humble screwed up regarding Monster Train. According to Steamgifts.com forums you only get the base game
Nice month, got It with the U$4 discount.
Feels unfair to bad rats, honestly. What people think they will get when they see New Witcher Trilogy announcement from CDPR

Evil Within 2 day is here! I can't believe it had been five years already since I last played EW2. We're going to be doing a NG+ playthrough so we can mostly stick to the main story and I'm not spending a bunch of time hunting for secrets and collectibles. Though for anyone that hasn't played the game or seen that side stuff it's worth doing if you pick the game up for yourselves.
I'll be updating the co-op thread later tonight as well so be sure to keep an eye on that if you're looking for some new co-op games and/or some news about our events.
Not really interested in the Dead Space remake. Had to give it a second chance to finish it, really disliked the backtracking in the game.

The atmosphere and combat mechanics were great, but I found the mission/level/encounter design to be awfully repetitive; DS2 was a big improvement in that regard, even if it was less survival horror and more action-horror. hope the remake isn't too faithful, but my expectations are definitely tempered
Arcade genres, like the physical locations they were mostly played at, seem to be a bit of a dying form, especially in terms of public interest.
It's too bad, because there are still quite a few talented developers devoted to these "niche" genres, who sadly struggle to gain visibility.
Give them a look once in while, wishlist them, check them out.
Quite a few Japanese indie developers now make the PC their main "home", and any added interest and sales does make a difference.
I'll post about a couple of titles that I rate very highly, which hopefully will be of interest to someone.
I'll start with NeverAwake, launched a few days ago (the launch discount is active until tomorrow).
It's a twin-stick shooter/shmup with a gorgeous style, an insanely good soundtrack (that works even disconnected from the game), a rather generous amount of content (80+ stages), a versatile power-up system, and surprisingly for the genre, a rather intriguing storyline (with multiple endings!).
I described it to someone as: "it's like Tim Burton made a twin-stick shooter, and asked Plaid to do the soundtrack". I think that's a great description.
There's a demo available on Steam, so do consider checking it out.

new project by cruelty squad dev
Chaos Head is cursed.
sounds liek really fun idea
That is a really strong choice bundle. I didn't even know a new Disciples game came out last year wtf
I hope SC announces soon where they'll launch the PC version. I want to play it on the Deck too, and it seems easier to just boot up Heroic than messing around with Yuzu.well I did my part, time to wait for yuzu patch and play it on Steam Deck
This is another reason to stay on PC. Applying the excellent patches by Committee of Zero that make things far more readable in English is super easy to apply.Chaos Head is cursed.
Yes it was banned from Steam but the English text also has issues as well
We should be seeing Crysis 2/3 Remastered on Steam shortly right? It says they released 10/15 on EGS last year.
Bummer !most likely, yeah
Intel GPUs, to sum it up drivers problems and performance all over the place.
