Finished Immortal Planet. Really fun 6-7 hour experience.
Like I said, it's a 2D sci-fi indie Dark Souls and it really nails the "challenging but fair" combat.
It's still just a single dollaridoo in the Humble RPG bundle, that's a damn steal!

So I'm not sure if this has been posted but I searched and found nothing. Bossa Studios hosted a 25 hour live stream yesterday where they just listed off Steam codes for their upcoming game The Bradwell Conspiracy nonstop. The Twitch vod is up and I managed to find a unredeemed code a few minutes ago, (It only took me 3 tries to find a non-duplicate code). So there are still some available at least if anyone wants to try and grab a free copy.

More and more tired of others forums and internet in general, too much circus, too much gimmicky threads, too much anger. So very little sense.

Maybe we should try to put the emphasis on positive things, I think I should try anyways. Celebrating the good and not spotlighting the bad. When you keep drudging in shit, you get to stink too.

No reason in particular for this post, more an accumulation of sad little wastes of time. And I’m definitely not targeting anyone here. And I’m not advocating for any bad things. Just a little tired and looking for some good for a change. Not to throw too much laurels, but I think I’m in the right place on the internet to find it :cat-heart-blob:

I agreed. So much shit and negativity everywhere on the Internet.

It drains you down.

Do whatever keeps you happy, even if it's not considered to be a popular thing.

Like, I love watching reaction videos on YT. As in, trailer reactions. Might not be a popular thing to do, but I love it. So I watch them.

Got it on my first try. I was looking at the chat waiting for a code, but then I noticed the letters in the video. Thanks!

edit: since I got it on my first try, I copied down the code that comes after it. Anyone want to give that a try? I can pm it.

Oh yeah, Kartridge is a thing...

I'll give it a shot because I don't understand the instructions lol.

Got it on first try too, I guess there's still a lot available ;)

Thanks a lot Arsene ! :wd_heart:

Finally about to start Greedfall. All my messing around trying to get better Gears 5 sound levels end up messing my general audio drier settings and there was no dialog... thankfully I make a weekly windows image backup for just such ocasions.

Was able to grab one. Thank you for the tip :)

Kind Words will be releasing in less than an hour according to Steam and people who bought the July Monthly may get a key for it down the line.

this is progressing quite nicely

Meanwhile in September releases :-D

Out of Early Acces

Out in Early Access

I got Celeste yesterday and actually started playing it. I felt like playing a platformer.

I expected it to be good based on the reviews and what I heard of it, but cynical as I am I also expected it to be somewhat overhyped. 5 or so hours in I can say that it really is that good though, one of the best precision platformers in terms of gameplay and controls that I've ever played. And even the story is executed well.

Thanks. Scrolled randomly to 11:37 and grabbed one on my first try!

survival by indiegala has left early access

Gameplay trailer
Indiegala is a publisher? I don't know much about them but are they doing the Humble bundle and Greenmangaming route and are now publishing PC games? The game was already a big hit before it even was officially released, it sold over 700k in it's time in Early Access. Rouge lite and "metrovania" style games or what ever sell really well on Steam.

It's weird how this got picked up, Valve does seem to be talking more, or at least they seem to be leaving more of a paper trail and people are looking at it. Did something change? I know that on the 10th Steam did do an update to SteamVR but I'm not sure if a lot of people covered that. Or at least people that are interested in VR stuff did seem to cover it though (just a few more days till HLVR stuff??)

The king returns
I may pick up the physical PC release for this game

I wonder if more devs will make use of this feature? It's pretty cool especially seeing how a lot of indie games go from Steam to N/S and being able to just continue your save file is pretty nice.

Maybe some big name games will also have the feature as well, sure you can play N/S stuff on the go but it doesn't look that great in general.

CS:GO anime adaption when?
Chios School road does a pretty funny CS GO parody, where he is planning late at night, playing some people in the west, they call her a "cunt" via Steam chat and then she continues to play the game for hours

Not many people played Devil Engine (you really should, it's an awesome shmup).
Hopefully, that may change with the upcoming DLC, which promises to include another kick-ass soundtrack.

Just listen to this arrangement by Shinji Hosoe:

Isn't that the Zero Escape composer? No idea what this game is, but with this guy on board the soundtrack has to be great.

Oh no, don't tell us Timmy managed to snatch you in slimey EGS clutches?
Game is luckily DRM-free, so even if you went to the dark side, you can safely ditch the client

Ridge Racer, some Cave shmups (Ibara), lots of old Namco shmups (Dragon Saber)

well is no really thefirst one published by them Steam Developer: Indiegala (Downward is great for example)

Yeah, he was a composer on Zero Escape, as well as Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and Zero Time Dilemma.

And, like Knurek mentioned, lots of Namco arcade titles (Ridge Racer and Tekken series, for example), and even some Cave stuff. Oh, and Xenosaga Episode II.

That arrangement I posted just sounds sooooooooo cool.
I liked the original version of this track (that is part of the original game), but this arrangement for the DLC really takes it to another level.

Anybody else here plays FIFA on PC? I was considering not getting it for the first time in years but I ended up pre-ordering it anyways from cdkeys.

I might grab it down the line for the Volta mode, other than that, I'm pretty sure that I bought 2018 on PC too.

Yeah that'd be the smarter choice, since FIFA usually gets discounted heavily as early as around Christmas time. I let the hype get the better of me so I pre-ordered off cdkeys. At least I got it for cheaper than what I would have had to pay if I purchased it directly through Origin.
I can get a month of Premier so we can play!
That'd be fun! We could do our own mini Metacouncil Fifa league, featuring all three of us

This article has a number of good VN recommendations. A lot of obvious choice for VN fans, but it should initiate newcomers as well.
