Am I the only one, that I often sit by the computer, put on the headphones but never actually listen to anything?XD
Nah, I do that as well. Putting them on after sitting down is like a habit, even if I don't immediately actually need them. I think.
I still hear everything around me with my headphones on (unless I have something loud playing of course :p) , so it's not like I'm shut off anyway.

So I'm not sure if this has been posted but I searched and found nothing. Bossa Studios hosted a 25 hour live stream yesterday where they just listed off Steam codes for their upcoming game The Bradwell Conspiracy nonstop. The Twitch vod is up and I managed to find a unredeemed code a few minutes ago, (It only took me 3 tries to find a non-duplicate code). So there are still some available at least if anyone wants to try and grab a free copy.

Every code starts with a red letter, and there's a - every 5 letters.(XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)

Hey cheers man, i got one. Only took a few goes. Code was around 17.23 on the timeline.

Thanks for the tip!

Early Access will offer its players an endless survival experience with 8 hours of storytelling and free-of-charge access to the upcoming updates adding new episodes, locations, characters, and equipment to the game. The story in Chernobylite is non-linear, unpredictable and fully dependent on player’s decisions, which leads to many possible endings. That means even if you finish the story in EA, you can relive it again many times and in many different ways.

I don't. I only put on headphones when I speak to people online, when I want to listen to loud music, or play an immersive game (Alien Isolation, SOMA, Observer...). I put them down when I'm done.

Maybe that's because I have a few cats and I prefer to hear them when they're about to jump on my lap for cuddles. But sometimes it happens when I play.

Always scares the shit out of me. Damned little devils with fur.

Has anyone played Rain World?

and if so does anyone know what im supposed to do? Ive been playing it on and off for a bit....

Ive made progress and found a few checkpoint areas (where you go to sleep) but other than that i just seem to explore about until i stumble upon a sleepy place or get caught in the rain and have to re-start.

Whats the deal with the little floating bug thing, does it point you toward where im supposed to go?

I like it but feel like i dont really make much progress due to just wandering about aimlessly.

Should reviewer update their score if microtransaction were introduced several months after the initial launch?
Should they? Yes
Will they? No
Would it make a difference even if they did do that? Also no
It won't matter even if they do. Metacritic only counts the original score so the only metric publishers care about will remain unchanged.
Ding ding ding

Not only that, but publishers only really care about professional reviews when it comes to the initial rush, because those get people to buy their shitty games before word of mouth goes out. It's why they're so fucking wary of stuff like Steam user reviews since those are like a blemish they can't run away from.

Either way, CoD players are too far gone. They'll see this and they'll just go out in droves to buy the game, only to complain when Activision eventually flips the switch. They can sleep on the bed they made for all I care.

Someone needs a way to tell these "...Alpha Male" CoD players that despite being manly man male men they sure like to bend over for publishers.

arts&crafts I can in the Steam Client. If there's an item on my wishlist i click the down arrow in the top-right of the icon and select "Wishlist" and it removes the game. I've just toggled Vampyre from the Focus Store page.

Ah I am on website from work and I dont see a way. It is just too difficult to remove games from my wishlist so I never do...maybe thats the whole idea!

Will this be a free dlc for previous owners of the game?
I highly doubt it. The DLC features a significant amount of new content, and new/arranged tracks from well known Japanese composers.
I doubt they won't charge for it (especially since the game sold like crap on PC).

This year is the 50th anniversary of the Scooby Doo series.
Shout outs to Megatron for voicing Fred all these decades :wd_salute:
I love Scooby-Doo. :giggle:
Even though I'm turning 40, I still buy and watch the series and direct-to-video movies, both old and new.

I just opened Steam Store in Edge on a VM without Enhanced Steam and on the Store page there is a little double-chevron icon in the top-right corner of a game if you hover over the image. Click it and "Add to Wishlist" to add the game or click "On Wishlist" to remove it.

I feel like I am taking crazy pills but I dont see it! not a big deal. I am on chrome for what its worth. I see the double-chevron on the "similar games" list and can remove those from wishlist I just cant find on the current page of whatever game I am on.

Ohhhh! Sorry, I see what you mean now. Yeah, if i click the Wishlist button on the actual game's store page it takes me to my wishlist instead of being a toggle.

Finished Blair Witch through PC game pass. It was okay, but dissapointing. Coming from Observer and Layers of Fear (not the sequel), it feels like the game was made by a different dev.

Trying to remember why I ignored this...

it does not have a character creator right?
It has been a while but I do not think so. It is a fine game, probably worth that price but it is middling so dont expect something great. So far Greedfall is much better but obviously more expensive. I am sure in a few months Greedfall will be cheap as that is usually Focus' move.

It looked like it played the exact same as Spiders' last 2 games so I gave it a hard pass after playing Bound by Flame. Might be decent at that price tho.

Microsoft releases Gears 5 at a ridiculous high price in Europe (where pc gaming is very popular), while throwing around cheap trials for Game Pass. Conclusion of the media: pc gamers aren't interested in Microsofts games on Steam. Wow, just wow.

Does Gog 2.0 support Gamepass, btw?

Stop right there, you toxic entitled Gamer scum! Sure, most ordinary people would assume the presence of a cheap alternative would lead people to go for the cheaper option, but it takes a hard hitting journalist to understand that whatever makes for a more racy headline must automatically be true, he even quotes some numbers and clearly did just about two minutes of research on this. Someone should get this man a Pulitzer.

Meanwhile on Asia, we have pretty good regional pricing for Gears 5 but Gamepass availability is very limited.

The floaty bug tries to point you where to go, but it's not always that helpful. You have to play the game very conservatively most of the time, like sometimes not venturing very far at all and just doing what you need to that day. The food availability changes so you have to keep seeking out the next hiding place from the rain. But that's basically the game - small daily explorations to figure out what your next goals are, balancing taking risks between not dying and making progress.

It is amazingly slow paced and tense at the same time. And it really doesn't like to help you or hold your hand at all. I followed the Rain World TIG source page for years, and I recall that little pointy bug was sort of a last minute compromise. I felt like they didn't even want to do that.
