Pricing is pretty par for the course - read: shit - over here but at least theres a preorder discount making it basically cost the same as Octopath Traveler.

Not even close to being ideal but it's... something?
I just realised, now that I have privacy I can finally play all those pervy VNs!
Assert dominance, play them near other people anyways.

avidemux is pretty easy to deal with. you drag to the start point, hit that b icon and then the delete/backspace key. then drag to the end point and hit that a icon and delete. If you just drag instead of using arrow keys, you should be able to just go to file > save and not have to reencode if you don't want to. If you want to encode, use the dropdown menu under Video Output to select the encoder, then configure it how you see fit. You can then hit then hit the Filter button to do other things to the picture, like crop or adjust colors.
Thanks for pointing me to this ! Absolutely brain dead to use (so ideal for me :so-good-blob: ).
A then B, then save. And that's it.

150+go to 4+, my ssd is so grateful !

Hmm, now how will I be able to budget Code Vein and Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, and worse, play them.
List time fellas, lists are good, lists are our friends !

These are the games I want to main these days :
Nioh
Monster Hunter World
The Surge
Code Vein
Destiny 2
Wandersong

I still have to put the finishing touch on - AC Unity
There is that too, just a century late - Vampire Bloodlines
Pretty burned about that one - FF14
Should try the special dungeons bit IDGAF since I finished this mamoth of a game - Grim Dawn

Destiny is breaking my OCD balls, not having Forsaken on PC feels wrong, but ffs I'm not too keen on re-purchasing it.

Directly from Chris Hunt, Lo-Fi Games CEO and the man behind Kenshi:

"Good news everyone! There has been a change of plans with development, and we have switched to the Unreal engine!

Now, what does that mean?

GOOD SIDE:

  • Amazing graphics with little effort
  • Better performance
  • Less work for us long-term, as we don't have to worry about engine bugs and features. We can focus more on gameplay.
  • Fancy features, like maybe cloth physics for example
  • Better stability probably?
  • New pathfinding system

BAD SIDE:

  • More work for us short-term, porting is a huge job
  • We have less control over the engine
  • Modding support will be more complicated, Unreal is a difficult engine to work with and has limitations in this respect. I don't know the engine well enough to say how exactly. The likely scenario is "more powerful but more difficult". The FCS will remain the same, but will control less stuff. Mod support will be a high priority for us though, so don't worry.
  • Kenshi 1 update now uncertain:
Here's the kicker: Porting Kenshi 1 to Unreal engine is now way more work than making Kenshi 2, because we have to port assets and make the old stuff work, where for Kenshi 2 we are making the assets from scratch in the Unreal-compatible way. We have started porting Kenshi 1, but I'm not sure whether to finish it because it is a lot of extra work and will delay Kenshi 2

So I'd like some feedback from people. Personally I feel like it would be better to focus on Kenshi 2, which will have exciting new features, new content and world to explore and mechanics to play with, rather than remaking kenshi 1, which would be essentially the same game."

To get some more definitive feedback we've also put up a poll here: https://www.strawpoll.me/18697532

Uh, my palatine uvula suddenly have swollen to the size of a small ball, at first I thought something have stuck in my throat, but it actually just this bastard causing troubles. Hopefully it'll b back to the normal size by tomorrow, I don't want to play with it with my tongue, not to mention I can't swallow and speak like I'm on drugs.

So, I'm nearing the end of Bloodstained. A couple of thoughts:

It's pretty good.

There's too much going on. Far too many shards. Too many weapons. Etc.

Boss fights become a joke after the first few. You get some pretty powerful weapons/upgrades early on that make them all pushovers.

Speaking of joke, that last major upgrade makes boss fights hilariously broken. I'm kind of happy about that, because some of these optional boss fights are annoying.

This map is not very good. Apparently this is the improved version? What did it ship with?

Figuring out how to trigger certain things is super annoying. I need a walkthrough for my walkthrough.

Overall, it's a good game. I'm enjoying my time with it. I'm just glad I didn't have to spend $30 to play it.

save that 90gb.
That's what I thought.

Shit, thx for saving me from downloading 90 gb.

I also checked r/dirtgame, some people are saying there are Win Store limitations with VR, Thumper also doesn't support VR apparently.

However, the good news is that Codemasters will patch in Oculus SDK into the Steam version of Dirt Rally 2 next week (the current supports OpenVR which gives choppy performance for Rift users), so Im gonna get the game on Steam as soon as the game is on sale after Oculus SDK support is patched in.
