Greedfall crashes randomly! Emailed support with my crash logs but not responses yet, they said there is a patch coming so hopefully that fixes it. Oh well back to Spyro while I wait.

Speaking of Ryza. I saw another character with, uh, huge attributes. What the heck, KT.

The trash character designs are putting me off from the game.
Im gonna go full hipster and say that they didnt need to do that and the old designs were better.
The sad thing is that it is going to sell a crapton and we will be stuck with these kind of designs for a while.
Gonna have to be more specific than that, theres like 20 of those.

They certainly didn't need to but Ryza would probably not be as popular as it seems to be if it had normal designs so uhh I guess thats Atelier moving forward.

Oh I know. I have a friend that didnt give the slightest amount of shit about the series until Ryza showed up.

I'm playing Stygian, if anyone has any questions about it hit me up.

Buy or don't buy?

edit: Too late, bought.

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS 10% off after the hiked prices up like motherfuckers in most regions. Wow.

In all seriousness, Ryza looks like a legit good game but those character designs are, well, out of character for the series. I understand that they want more money by catering to otaku sensibilities but IMO there are better ways to do it than just giving everyone big breasts and asses.

The hell is thi2
One of the gacha waifus in Xenoblade 2
I'd happily pre-order it if Koei did a sale on previous Atelier games so I could see if it's something I'd enjoy or not.
They had a sale recently, prices aren't the greatest but thats KT for ya.

You can at least get Sophie for cheap. Other Atelier games not so much.

AFAIK there's no region locking on the Switch!
Thanks. I'm aware of it. ;)

My question was because I missed the "limited edition" of the compilation, and I was hoping in case a Western release happens, it may include those bonus games.
If one happens, I would consider buying a Switch for it.
But, for the regular release (which "only" has 4 games), it's not worth the expense to me.

I'm honestly surprised character designs are having this much of an effect. Like what's the train of thought here, "oh this game has anime tiddy even though it'll still have the same comfy tone as it always had, I am now interested"?

That’s what my friend said 🤷

I was looking around and I found this:

...I hope that for 298€ you also get a brand new Switch...

I think this website is also the only place where I could find Downtown's action figures (Matsumoto's and Hamada's...)... but, again, they were way too expensive.

What can i say, i'm simple man. I just like cute (anime) girls.
Not only like i'd care only about that, but it adds to a game. A game with cute (and sexy) character designs is usually better then one without (Obviously exceptions exist, Spec Ops the Line would be a weiiiiird game otherwise) because it adds to the beatuy the same way a good OST or nice art-design do.

To be clear, I really don’t mind it. They’re free to put whatever they want on their game, and I still going to play it. I just find it funny how much ‘hype’ this game has just because they decided to make the girls more, uh, voluptuous. I’ve followed this series since the protagonists had their cute pink dresses, so watching this is a bit odd.

Thank you for making me imagine Captain Walker as a cute anime girl, I hate it.

Too soon to tell. I really like what I'm seeing so far though.
Okay!

Totally unrelated: anybody wants a Playmaker key for Unity (for free)? I already own a license and I don't even know why I bought it in the first place (I know how to program in C#)... I bought way too many useless Unity assets.

Just bought the cheapest bottle of red wine in my life, 1.69€! It's going to be acid isn't it?

Speaking of VNs, I have now my windows 10 tablet again and that will be perfect for VNs! But strangely some VNs seem demanding that an intel GPU can't handle?o_O

I once ordered a glass of red wine in a hotelbar and it tasted like motoroil.
Can't be worse than that.

Library:
  • Replaced Home and Collections navigation buttons with Library menu options.
  • Hid empty collections from game list.
  • Added a "filter by platform" button to Linux and MacOS that will filter the current game list to only games that run on the current platform.
  • One-time reset of Steam Skin selection when receiving this beta update or when first receiving the new library update. This avoids un-updated skins causing failures when opening the new library.
  • Deleting screenshots taken in VR now also deletes the stereo version from the local disk and the cloud. Note that cloud deletion only applies to screenshots uploaded in the future, not existing shared screenshots.

Linux:
  • Fix GPU crashes and overlay corruption with games that use Vulkan async compute, such as DOOM 2016.

Remote Play:
  • Decreased stream latency and reduced frames dropped due to host CPU load
  • Fixed launching VR games from the Steam Link
  • Fixed rare Steam client crash when running the network test
  • Added support for Wake on LAN over wireless connections with properly configured wireless adapters
  • Fixed steam client crash under certain combinations of remote play with non-Steam apps, or on the second launch of SteamVR.

Steam Input:
  • Fixed several bugs around action set layer switching
  • Reduced Steam Input’s overall CPU usage when active
