I watched
Josh Strife Hayes "Worst MMO ever" video on Guild Wars 1 an evening or so ago and was immediately struck with nostalgia.
Really made me in the mood to boot it back up and create a new character. Or for that matter, continue the adventures of my old characters. Never managed to finish any of the plots.

Welcome!Looking forward to reading impressions of the FF4 Pixel Remaster tomorrow. I'm curious to see how it compares to the other versions. When the whole collection is done getting released, I have this big plan of doing a FF marathon since I haven't played the original six entries in such a long time.

It does indeed, I didn't expect such a degree of environmental interaction in a card-based game. The only thing I am iffy on is the choice to have a custom character as the protagonist. During the entire presentation I was constantly thinking "I wish I could replace the Hunter with Daredevil". I feel like Firaxis wanted to preserve the customization aspect of XCOM but it feels completely out of place here.
I really like this series and this has me wanting to give GW a try. Think I might still have an account with the original game registered to it.
The other videos in this series are well worth a watch as well. The vast majority do stick to the title of the series. But there is the of green in there he really enjoys.
You can't bang the supers in Marvel Midnight Suns so I already ignored the game
FYI In case people missed this. It's common sense but i'm sure some people will get moody about it...

It's such a cool game, but the controls and lack of jump, it's a bit of its time
But as much as I like the nice, fluid gameplay of WoW, the increasingly tactical nature of Guild Wars was fantastic... and still possible at the time, you could do something WIDELY different from everything else...
In a world where you have three keys to push if you're lucky with no customization of any sort, being dropped in a game where you can choose whatever you want from the 2000 strong list...
And I still consider Nightfall to be my favorite MMO expansion ever.
And definitely one of the very best atmospheres of any game, straight up.
African fantasy with different nations and cultures, with such a massive amount of variety was just a treat, one you never see in videogames. And people will usually miss all of that for a long time (or completely) since it's the second expansion!

I never played GW1 but I'm surprised how much GW2 resembles its prequel. It's been like 7 or 8 years since release of GW2, I wish we had GW3 already

Tales of Arise landed 88 on OpenCritic, the series best score to date. I'm excited to try it since we don't get enough high budget jRPGs

So there is still Bethesda.net version? I guess they just want Valve to pay for bandwidth on non-bethesda.net purchases
Considering that you have to download like 85% of the game anyway, the discs don't matter much.
