For no. #1, I'd say so. Unless you have a particular nostalgia towards Cloud's in-game model or the early 90s localisation, the mod is good for first-time players as well because they're not trying to diverge from the vanilla experience.HOLY MOLLY THIS POST IS GOLD!
Few questions :
1. All these are good for a first time playthrough?
2. I've heard about 7th Heaven Mod. What does that do? Also what about Tifa's Bootleg?
Excellent news. Let's hope for a good localisation since it'll be a shame if the quality lowers even further.
Hollow Knight has so much content that I'm disappointed that most recent DLC just mostly turned out to be rehash (or at least it feels like it, never played too far)I recently went back to Hollow Knight. Back when it was released I "finished" the game (well, I got an ending), but it's pretty amazing just how much completely optional content there is in the game. Really looking forward to Silksong.
Bouta have an out of body experience right now ngl
Sounds like a challenge. I'm going to play this without getting sick. Wish me luck.GRIP can now be played in VR.
Make sure you play the Crossbell duology before CS3.I'm glad the dropped the ridiculous "End of Saga" line after CSIV.
Excited to actually play CSIII later this year (I already bought it), cause I'm still wading through Zero and probably Ao after that. Gonna be a good couple years for trails.
Keep telling yourself that. Now I won't buy any more games unless they are 75% off or more and I desperately wanna play it.
I'm not sure what happened there, but yeah, the game just took too long to come out, and now the people who would probably care are not that interested. This is another incoming April release I am quite looking forward to but screams bomba
The original was a bit messy but ambitious enough that I admired it and would like to check out the sequel, but man this is not how you handle a game release.
Keep the title on indefinite delay for literally years and then announce a release in about 2 weeks time.
Madness.
I imagine the fact that the sequel isn't being published by Devolver unlike the original is saying a lot sadly.
Such a baller fight.I can't believe that I got just a black screen after beating the first phase of the Nameless King fight ;_;
The day gaming opens the door to furry art microtransactions is the day it explodes into a multi-trillion dollar a year industry.CSGO got a new anime skin and it goes for more than $300 on the steam market (no joke)
Better a late release while knowing that a PC version will exist than having the porting teams crunch.Another late PC port for SenIV, this gets tiring. Ah who am I kidding, going to double dip again.
Even if it's not a given for a Steam release, you can post it if you want, you know, right?
Guess there's no issues posting it here since a Steam release is pretty much a lock - albeit belated.
I've also had a lot of trouble with that battle before finally overcoming it. However, once I did beat it I've found myself easily capable of repeating that feat whenever I felt like replaying that fight. I mastered that boss to the point where I started feeling that maybe it wasn't that tough after all and beating it wasn't actually that impressive. But you saying that you found him that tough at first too means that maybe I should give myself a teeny tiny bit of credit for taming it by nowI just got the true ending in Hollow Knight.
The (true) final boss was probably the hardest non-optional (as in, required for an ending) boss in any game of this style I've played. Took me a lot of attempts. The ending makes up for it though, much more satisfying than the other ones.
well as long as the port's quality is as good as Durante's port of SenIII , i am absolutely fine with waiting (especially since i havent even started SenI yet)Better a late release while knowing that a PC version will exist than having the porting teams crunch.Another late PC port for SenIV, this gets tiring. I beat it on the second try. That's just how I am. Born like this.I've also had a lot of trouble with that battle before finally overcoming it. And yes, that ending is fantastic.... and heartrending too
Honestly glad I was only into Ys back then. That was bad enoughShoutout to all the people that can actually wait a year for the sequel to a 100+ hour RPG and not hop right to a spreadsheet translation. Those people wouldn't have survived the FC/SC days back in 2012 like the rest of us boomers.
What’s wrong with it?Good, more people will finally be able to experience the trainwreck that is Cold Steel IV.
Yeah, like you already noticed, it's an early access release. That Lodoss War metroidalike game is ... ~60min or less apparently? That's hard to understand.
Edit: oh god damn. Missed the large blue early access sign. Not done yet. I thought it was the full release. Gonna buy it then.
Yeah it looks cool and a 1 hour installment sounds ok to me. My time is getting eaten up by other stuff lately.Yeah, like you already noticed, it's an early access release.
The developers did the same thing with the previous game. They will be releasing the game in "chapters", until it's fully complete.
Considering the asking price, and how much I love their games, I bought it basically just to support them, they deserve the money.
And, I already played through the current content, and it's just awesome!
goood good ,
To be honest, when it's usually an early access release from a developer I like, I buy it, I spend 5 minutes with it (to sample how it plays), and then I wait for the final release.Yeah it looks cool and a 1 hour installment sounds ok to me. My time is getting eaten up by other stuff lately.
