The best games first, makes sense
I'd rather play P4G over P5 anyway so goodie
P5 is emulatable and P4G isn't so its the better choice tbh.

(also P4G is better than p5 anyway so)
I agreed, but on the other hand, P3 and P4 are stuck on old ass platforms that aren't in production anymore.

Already played and finished vanilla P5 on PS4, would have bought it again on PC, but have neve rplayed P3 and P4 have just played a few hours of.
It's definitely a good step, as much as I want to play P5. Better than getting the vanilla version of a game that's about to get a brand new revision.

From what I gather, this is in line with Frontier's atrocious approach to game design which amounts to "how many more hours can be squeeze out of that one".

The price on these is ridiculously and the upkeep pretty bad to top it all off. That's the problem with online-oriented game. Suddenly, developers feel like they have to stretch a single-player experience over thousands of hours without being willing to fully go the whole way and build a systemic game where multiplayer actually means something to the world.

Persona 4, especially Golden, is a big sleep from me.

Wake me up when Persona 2 or any actual good Atlus game makes it to Steam.

Hype level is rising for P4G.

I still need to get though CS3 (in Chapter 4 finally), but I'll be ready to jump into that afterwards.

Looking like a great year for good RPGs getting good ports, thus far.

Only played 2 hours off P4G on my Vita. Would be super happy to play on PC with HP cheats (muhahahaha).

Catherine released last year so wake the fuck up
Oh right, I forgot about that. Catherine was a really fun game despite it's problems. If FB makes it to PC I'd definitely pick it up because online Catherine MP would be a stupidly good time.

I 100%'d it on PC and full body on PS4 and if they bring it to pc I will gladly 100% Full Body again. It was the first Atlus game I finished and introduced me to Persona. I absolutely love it.

But P4G is going to be like 70€ with no launch discount isn't it?T_T
Wasn't Catherine Classic pricing pretty good? I'd probably expect something along those lines
So... is P4G good? What is it like?
Yes. It's the PS2's swan song and Golden while it adds some meh new content has a ton of QoL stuff that only makes it better.

Well, on one hand it's Atlus so that would be fitting.
But at the same time Atlus is technically still Sega, and going by their pricing of late ports, 20€ wouldn't surprise me either.

So should we expect a Bloodborne PC announcement with the PS5 show or the PC gaming show? If the rumors are true of course.
We don't really know. PC will not be mentioned during the PS5 event but it could be confirmed as coming on a blog post.

13 Sentinel too?

For me it's better than P5, but maybe it just a nostalgia bias.
Sorry Cordelia but, while I think 13 sentinels has a lot of chances, Aus rating board ALWAYS puts everything as multiplatform, so no real indication from there :cat-heart-blob:

So... is P4G good? What is it like?
depends if you have played persona 5.

  • more grounded in reality / setting. The plot of Persona 5 is ridiculous, it may be really like that in some instances in Japan, but I found most scenarios and what happens to the characters completely unrealistic and more like Fantasy on how a kid or teenager sees the world.
  • The cast of P4G has more character and feels more believable.
  • combat in P4G feels more relaxed where you don't need to stress about exploring 100% of the dungeon because it is random. Especially P5R has vastly expanded the dungeon exploring with missable chests, etc.

P5R is more polished and has vastly more things to do in your free time, one of the things it gets criticized because of padding.

I literally have no idea what it is and how it plays. What do you do in this game? Seriously, I have zero knowledge of the franchise.

I see, because "computer game" usually only refer to PC.

P4G is one of my all-time favourite games. I'd be happy to see it escape Vita - it coming to PC and being preserved on an open platform for good is the best news I've had all month!
