Looks like I resolved this by completely powering down my computer. Cold boot wasn't enough. I had to stop the power going into my computer entirely.

I disagree. The concurrent player is usually at 60k and has been growing. I think it's more than 400k. But with some more data proof I have no problem with being wrong.

I need to see when the PS4 version gets updated. <3 the DS4 for platformers and Dead Cells is great on it.
The number keeps growing and adjusting, P4G for example hasn't stopped growing since release too, this is like SteamSpy before it was useless, the data will stabilize over time
Just checked PlayTracker for A Plague Tale, if it's somewhat correct, the Steam version stands with about half the sales between Steam, PS and Xbox.

Apparently Death Stranding will have DLSS 2.0 support.
This is nice because so far it was (for no real reason) associated by most people primarily with games that use raytracing. There's really no reason not to have it in other (traditionally rasterized) high-end games as well. Should make reaching high framerates at high (final/output) resolutions much easier.

In gaming news, Death Stranding is good! I personally didn't find it boring and somehow it isn't as batshit insane while your playing it. Kinda like Metal gear, its internal logic is mostly sound despite how fucked up it is.

Remember my (little) rant a few weeks back about Zero Time Dilemma and how disappointing it was?
I AM SORRY KOTARU UCHIKOSHI!
I finished AI the Somnium Files.
Without the gameplay elements, it would have been a Visual Novel masterpiece.
The story was great
The characters were awesome
The english Dub was awesome (not something that I say very often for Japanese games)
The twist was great
The facial emotional Animation was awesome
The lip-synch was aw...ful
The sexual jokes were great and miles more "adult" in it's subject matter and delivery than anything else in regards to Japanese fanservice
The hidden object clicker portion was great and its switch between ecchi/funny descriptions and serious descriptions was good.
Didn't care about the main gameplay portion (the dream sequences)
