I love my FPS. Painkiller, Painkiller Overdose, Painkiller Remastered, Hard Reset, Necrovision, Rouge Like FPS, COD, FEARs'.... its deep.

Serious Sam 3 was a game I bounced off hard, twice. Not sure what people liked about that one. No surprise that Serous Sam's time has passed.

Which is ironic, because Talos used asset from SS3 when they were trying to make puzzles for a future SS game.

It's a shame (and weird). :thinking-blob:
SS3 was a disappointment,
SS4 isn't looking too hot.
But Talos Principle is a bloody masterpiece, one of the smartest game this generation.

See this is the problem right here. I was an adult when Serious Sam came out and I knew then and know now it kicked ass. Ya'll kids don't get it. You just want your COD and your Fortnite. shakes fist

This revisionist history really is something. Go and play Second Encounter and tell me it isn't excellent.

Most FPS have their down times, and Serious Sam is no different.

I'm not saying Serious Sam 3 was any good, and SS2 was garbage. But the first ones are GOATs.

It's the survey for Sentinel 13 for PS4, the game just came out two days ago in the west.

And the art is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanilla wear sure is something else when it comes to their artstyle and making characters so expressive. In the beginning of the game there is your friend that you talk to and the way that his face looks like is pretty cool.


The "clipping" through objects is a little weird though, the game is still in 2D but unlike with other vanilla wear games there seems to be more vertical space here and objects around you.



Also I make sure to let them know that I would like more vanilawear titles on PC. Well in general I told them that the main reason that I picked up the game was because it's a vanilawear title.

Story from my life (uninteresting, read at your own risk)

This month my household started resuming the debts payments we owe. Nearly 300 euros /month for a long ass time.
Ok. I kinda wanted to kill myself to stop this misery but ok. Budget was adapted, and while by no means great, things were under control.
Today I see that the French tax services just took 218 euros from our account. I was a little hyper ventilating, but we could take this other hit.
...
Then I learned that they will take 218 euros in Oct/Nov/Dec
We are ultra fucked. Comboed to death.

Though I wonder if they intend to triple down on Amnesia copyrighted heart attack inducing scares or be more atmospheric. I hope for the later*, I loved Amnesia for the Lovecraft pastiche, not for the fucking hunter that got old after two deaths.

Spelunky 2's online multiplayer won't be available at launch.
Even though Spelunky 1 didn't really click for me, I'm kinda looking forward to its release. I tried the Borderlands franchise for like 3 or 4 times before it clicked, so maybe the same thing will happen again.

So you really were playing it, I was afraid of disturbing you but I wondered if it was so kind of idle/social game too.

Turns out it wasn't :p.

Also that Mafia remake is impressive.

A priori, I don't really care about multi. There was local multi in the first one and I have never played it.

That being said, I would be glad to be able to play online multi, at least for a try.

Nearing the end of Last Remnant and I feel this is a game I will replay in the future.
Thus far I'm disappointed in it; dungeon design is basically simple, combat while interesting isn't explained to the player all to well once you get past its basics, its leveling up system is too vague
Shit I still don't know how to manipulate what equipment my units should be having at any time.

This is a game that needs a lot of research before playing to ensure you don't screw yourself over in later battles.

It is! And they change a lot of stuff, like running and gilding, incorporating different level of techniques (eg. charging fire ball becomes explosion), no more JA, counter, seamless openworld... See if you have time to read / watch a recap later!:cat-heart-blob:

Actually, they're changing A LOT of things, from exploration to combat and how the classes work. It's quite a different game, which is great news.

Im gonna assume the HD collection I have on Xbox is still better than this?

Edit: Checked, MGS HD Collection on console has MG1,MG2,MGS2, MGS3 and Peace Walker. Somight pick up MG1 and MGS1 on GOG.

I wonder if they'll only be available on gog. I mean Blade Runner & Diablo aren't on Steam either. Old ports anyway I guess...

probably the same exact games, if i had to guess

edit: mgs2 is substance, which wasn't on the hd collection i think. but still the hd collection is better in the looks department
