But I think the community ban was a result of a lock placed on his account by a Steam Support Staff Member.

The same way some other games managed to release a few days earlier, it all depends on the day of the week, as I said on Twitter (Tomasety will know about this) they want to get the weekend peak as that means engagement, I don't think epic cares if the game releases 2 days earlier, 12 months mark has been made so yeah, not really a surprise or weird thing.
Only if you want to experience misery, despair, and have no fun over the weekend.

No, please don't do that. Start with the original DoW 2 and if you want a more classic RTS experience play the original, but forget 3 exists.

I prefer the original and it's expansions, but 2 is really good as well.
Also Soulstorm has got some really good mods.
The ship battles in Curse of Monkey Island, followed by the rhyming sword battles was way more tedious.

I built this backlog, I'm gonna go thru it one mediocre game at a time.
It works fine now IMOI recall that emulator being a tragedy... But can't beat free.
