This just came out, looks like a sort of Kerbal Space Program-ish type game.
I'm 30 hours into Yakuza 7 so far and still in Chapter 6 and I'm taking my sweet time with it.
I'm enjoying the absurd sub-stories, the small talks the party does, collecting cans and searching for stuff bellow vending machines and etc.

No you don't! I own them on Steam but haven't played any, but I'm enjoying Yakuza 7 a ton as my first one.I will but need to finish 0, 1K and 2K first

Guess Valhalla didn't need Steam.
They gave away Valhalla with certain Ryzen CPU's so I'm sure that's inflating the PC launch numbers.
Did we ever expect Ubi games to start doing badly on PC? The last few bombed because they were trash, not because they were EGS/uPlay only.

Ubi’s Steam games required Uplay anyway so people didn’t even have a download a new launcher since they already had it lol
1 out of 3, don't forget that, and to be quite honest, without the split I will assume most bought it directly on Uplay (or even Uplay+) instead of EGS because, why.
Anyway, we have this conversation every time 1 does ok, remember how Ubi hasn't said a thing about WDLegion or Breakpoint, as I said, this doesn't mean they won't need it in the near future.
No, we expected certain swift from Third service to Uplay itself and it happened (sort of) but never badly per say when it comes to "leaving Steam is death" because it's not but we have proof over and over that games once they are back on Steam do amazingly well if they are the chosen ones

Eh, those games matter little to 7. You can play 7 out of order from the rest of the series as it's a different arc with new characters.but Y3-6 are still missing...

Im only 2/3rds through the story but the only ever mention of past yakuza games thus far was a very throwaway lore bit about something that happens after yakuza 6 without spoiling 6 itself
I gave it a try at the beginning, but its short reach trips me up since I'm so used to the scythe and its range.Try the heavy moon, my favorite weapon on GE3

I have a PS5 and can confirm that for Spiderman Miles Morales it does mention PC. When you go on PSN and look at the featured section you will see it. By the way I'm liking the new PSN. By which I mean it's wayyyyyyyyy fast then it's been in the last 10+ years even going back to the PS3. It was very slow and a mess.
Just to clarify something like others have said it does look like a template, since it takes you to a section of games that are either PS only or are PS+ PC only some of these titles are confirmed timed Exclusives that everyone knows about and stuff like that.
I guess the whole idea behind that imagine is to show people stuff that they can only play on PS and not on other consoles type of thing.
Now if you clicked the banner and it sent you straight to Miles Morales then that would mean something else.
I was looking at the PS Indies section of PSN on PS5 and I think that's really cool how it gets its own little section not only that but it might be a permanent thing, that's nice. What I found strange how ever was seeing 13 sentinels in that section. I guess technically it is an indie game since ATLUS doesn't own Vanillaware I think and are just the publishers.
What is sad about that section is how small it is. It's just 22 games. Maybe that wanted to keep it small but you likely would see a bigger list of highlights on N/S and PC.
Also Mike Roses game is on their I guess that after hearing him complain Sony choose to give home a spot.

Ubisoft always talks big about their launch period then we find out the game's not doing so hot after all, like with The Division 2. And of course most sales are on UPlay, didn't they announce like 3000% growth on that when they gave up Steam, nobody buys on Epic, they just take Tim's money on top for the PR, win win for them as the goal was to ditch Steam and increase their UPlay sales, they'll return to Steam like EA, Bethesda and Microsoft when they realize they lose a good chunk of change by excluding it altogether, more than Tim covers, and they can still keep UPlay going successfully for the bulk of the fee-less sales since they had already conditioned people their games had little benefit from a Steam purchase as they still required their client so it's up to how much they want it...

Unless they've completely reworked how disc systems work, it won't affect it at all. Discs are physically symmetrical, it's just a laser scanning the "readable" side, so if you put it in upside down it'd just try to read the label and be like "nothing to see here". The only thing touching the disc is the tray and then the little thingy that spins the disc once it's inside, and that uses the hole in the disc which is, again, symmetrical.
There actually used to be a lot of 2-sided DVDs not that long ago, one side would be the main feature and maybe some commentaries and the other side might be special features or even a second movie, depending. Not sure if game companies ever adopted this for games that needed multiple discs.
Okay sooooooooo.... About my PS5. As of right now Sony does not offer a extended warranty (protection plan), so if my PS5 dies even if it's one day after the warranty expires well I'm screwed. MS on the other hand goes have a warranty plan for the XSX.

Speaking of Arise, there is an interesting tidbit: both Arise and Xenoblade 2's main girl is voiced by Shino Shimoji. Interesting to see that she voiced for two big JRPG when there are so many options available and she is not really a well-known voice actress. I think her excellent performance in Xenoblade 2 may have secured her the job in Arise.
Me playing on a JPN server on PS5. I got 9 kills!!!!!!! In one match. The game feels a lot smoother on PC but this is just from BC so it would improve with a native PS5 version.
Embracer Group just bought a bunch of other studios such as Zen Studios (Pinball FX) and Snapshot Games (Phoenix Point).
