Gotta say, I am surprised they didnt do another Operation Moonshot. The "level of game" between last year and this year is huge.
I imagine they are planning on winding down free games and coupons sooner rather than later at this point (only bringing it back occasionally for big events like their mega sale and winter sale).

I always assumed they had something akin to a 3 to 5 year plan. If they are still relying on free games and coupons beyond that point then I have to imagine their planned profitability is even further off than what they said during the trial.

we only want one forum

they have no forum

galciv 2 is maybe my favorite game of all time. but i think i played 3 for like an hour after giving them like a hundred bucks on indiegogo, and stardock as a whole just seems to be so full of shitheels (even outside of brad) im just done with them
Yeah, I played galciv 2 for hundreds of hours, but I couldn't care for galciv 3 for a few hours, I certainly won't be buying galciv 4

I love how devs nowadays can say with a straight face ''yeah, we don't want feedback of any kind'', extra shitty when it's an early access product. I would be laughed to hell and back if I said that at my work.

Well, another one to the list :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Well, this one in particular is a very questionable developer.

I noticed Epic has not updated their top sellers in several days. Kind of weird since they were getting daily updates for awhile.

Exclusive money dried out and moved on to acquisitions and funding full projects I guess. It was pretty revealing when they talked about how gamepass is bidding for the same content, and that platform is showing incredible growth.

Epic was not a sponsor. MechWarrior 5 was advertised too much.

And it was clear to me that Epic was not promoted at all.

The host (can't remember name, sorry) even mentioned in multiple occasions a few multistore releases and yet he said "wishlist on Steam now" while forgetting about EGS, which could be a few things.

-They want to look less attached to them.
-Host forgot EGS has wishlists too
-Games didn't have EGS pages while they had Steam ones.

Some of the games behind the codenames which I mentioned earlier have been revealed:
  • Earth by "2K" is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands,
  • Caracal by "Stardock" is Galactic Civilizations IV,
  • Camel by "Another Indie Studio Limited" is Yuppie Psycho,
  • Centaur by "Coatsink" is Moonglow Bay.
And these must have been mistakenly mentioned:
  • SP_ by "Epic Dev Test Account" is Overcooked 2 by Team17, no idea why I thought it was hidden,
  • Owl by "Annapurna" is Solar Ash, I think it was not hidden and it was my mistake.

These are the remaining codenames for currently unknown games or tools:

-Games didn't have EGS pages while they had Steam ones.
- Steam wishlisting is much more important for visibility than EGS wishlisting.

I read somewhere that Steam wishlisting also helps the game in search engines like Google, so Steam wishlisting isn't just about the Steam store, but for around the web too.
