I played through Berseria, my first tales game, a couple of months ago. The story and gamepaly both were really good. Arise is looking good so I'll probably get it not too long after release maybe.Pre-ordered Tales of Arise on steam

RTX 3090s are heavy beasts and support brackets or stands are a thing for a while but not something joe bloggs like us have had to consider... until now.
It sounds insane but yeah, most of these high-performance video cards have huge lumps of metal to help cool them. It's possible that it's just the mobo that's dead but given how fragile and sensitive these RTX cards are i wouldn't be surprised if both card and mobo are dead.

I'm in the same boat of not wanting to pay for subscriptions, but I've been getting Gamepass free through just using Bing's reward points thing for the past full year. I'm gonna have it all the way until Feb next year, and I still am just getting sub time faster than it takes for it to expire.

Daisy and James are also surprising as I do not recall them voicing many games, I think Daisy has only done Star Wars games if I recall and James I cannot think of anything?
I honestly didn't know that they hired them for the VA until now. The premise and gameplay are already very enticing so this is another thing to look forward to.

Hopefully, I will be able to finish Azure this month. I didn't detect any signs of burnout yet (even though the in-game clock is approaching 200 hours --bless turbo mode--) so I will be continuing with Cold Steel III immediately after.

I don't think Yakuza 4 will be this month. I suppose they will space the episodes out more.

Yesterday I mentioned wanting Dragon Quest Pixel Remasters but I just realized they pretty much already exist. They've just been mobile-only for the longest time. I've even had the first one on my phone for a while lol. I also completely forgot that DQ1-3 got ported to Switch a couple of years back. It looks like they're also on PS4 in Japan but only the Switch version made it over here. I guess Nintendo might've paid for exclusivity...
But yeah, you know what could help Dragon Quest gaining a foothold in the West, S-E? Actually fucking releasing them on most platforms. I mean, shit, I actually care and even I forgot these versions existed. And to think a few years ago I was actually optimistic that they would eventually release them on Steam...

They look weird as fuck, yeah. But I love Toriyama's art style and they recreate it pretty faithfully so I kinda like them. I'd gladly take those versions if the alternative is just not getting the games at all. At least they're not egregiously bad like the old FFV-VI remakes where I simply couldn't bear to look at them lol.

yup this genre is pretty damn addictive . Their Endless games were pretty good and clear improvement from game to game. Great to finally see Amplitude Studios take on Firaxis with clearly historical game.
Maybe it's too soon for Y4 since we just got Y3 but it's possible. I'm sure we'll get them all eventually till the end of 2022.
Plague Tale has been a recurrent guess for the better part of a year now but maybe it'll only happen closer to the sequel release date.
Banner Saga 3 is also something that should eventually show up. The first 2 games were featured in monthlies in the past.
My random guesses are Katana Zero, Below, Inmost and Othercide.

Yum-yum, the game world tearing at the seems, the lovely character sprites that wouldn't be out of place in the mobile Final Fantasies (look at the fucking horse!), and of course, the font is shit but that's just the SE touch.
And of course, my pet peeve with the franchise: only the SNES version of DQ3 has animated sprites. Because animations are hard.
