I would also like ER to be slightly smaller. I'm about 40 hours in and I don't think I even beat half of the game. The completionist inside me have to check every nook and cranny.
This reminds me that this is not the first open-world souls game I played. Ashen also had an open world, but much smaller in scope. I really enjoyed the design of that one.

How would you go about recording a game on the Deck ? Internally I mean, no interest in recording the Deck playing a game.

I get the feeling Crimesight is mega bombing. Like craterized.
Not sure it works on the Deck, zero feedback on ProtonDB.

Bummer, the weather is really cool and that puts me in a boardgame mood. With drinks. And friends.

No friends, though :wd_happy:

No, I mean I'm actually turning the monitors off and on lol

Like I dont always use the 2nd monitor, so it does this when I turn it on and it connects
It happened whenever a closed the Oculus desktop app when I was using the Rift S. That disconnects/disables the headset as if it’s been switched off and it also momentarily kills the display output to my TV, which looks like it’s switching off and on again.

Likely to do with how Windows handles display detection and how your display doesn’t maintain an ”on” state when in standby, so when it switches off Windows changes your display profile which causes the active monitor to switch on and off.

At least that’s what it sounds like to me.

So i knew that you get trailer for Dawn of Ragnarok when you start the game but they are now playing it while you are actually in game doing base game quests.

Noooo you have to sell the studio to Sony and make Bloodborne 2 exclusive and Silent Hills

Looks like negotiation tactics. Sony must be lowballing Kojima:LOL: .

Or maybe he really is making an Xbox exclusive so they are hesitant to pull the trigger.

Either way I don't see how Kojima can hold out so long. Death Stranding was successful but Sony took a big cut from it for sure. Also he has a team and needs tech etc. He only releases new games every 4 or 5 years so how does he continue to fund everything? Games are more expensive to make today than back when he was at Konami and Konami couldn't keep him. Honestly surprised he hasn't sold already.

Reminder to check your rechargeable batteries/devices every now and again.

Yesterday I had a pretty scary incident with my tablet battery from 2014. I hadn't used it for a while, since well it was old and slow and the Android updates had stopped for a while on it. Still I kept it around as an alarm clock and kindle/comics reader. Well, I was minding my own business when suddenly I heard a loud pop! At first I wasn't sure what it was but looked around... My tablet. The casing got blown off and the screen cracked from bubbling out.

The battery had swollen up really bad, it must have happened over time and i didn't notice. Than the pressure got to a point of the casing failing. So I nervously removed this uh puffy battery that looked ready to explode. Disconnected the terminals and bagged it up. Thankfully I was able to hand it off to a recycling plant.

But yeah. Reminder to check those. If they explode, the gas inside is toxic! ... And highly flammable. Can't just put your devices in a closet and forget them.

Now I anxiously stare at my aging laptop and PS Vita as well. :anguished-face:

If his goal is to stay independent he can do so as long as the games he produces cover the costs and don't damage his reputation, with his name he isn't going to run out of devs and/or publishers willing to work for/with him.

Didn't Sony invest money on new KojiPro to get it going? And that was under Andrew House and Shawn Layden, I wonder if Jimbo has any love for Kojima.

i really wish they did
the story and what the game proposed were quite good, the main problem was at technical level, it was a disaster with framerate drops to 10 fps that made it unplayable, something similar to Zelda musou game. I hope, if it finally gets port for PC those issues are fixed as well as having decent resolution.
