Either Sony doesn't actually give a shit about Epic Store (they are releasing games on EGS as a fellow courtesy) or Epic Store doesn't have the option, both alternatives are bad for Epic, but the site only mentions Steam for linking PSN account.

I think it's just a combination of priorities (Steam is a priority over EGS) and connectivity bridges, which Steam already has implemented for quite some time.
No way Sony attempts their own launcher after watching Xbox, Ubisoft and EA come crawling back to Steam right.
Change Ubisoft for Activision and you are correct there (sort of, we need to see more Activision movements :P)

I kinda liked its brevity, honestly. If you start playing long RPGs on the side, it's really nice to have a game that doesn't feel the need to add any padding whatsoever.

I don't think many people would minded how short it was if it had been priced accordingly.
I beat the game in a little over 4 hours and didn't even rush things. Given that it's reusing 95% of Resident Evil 2 Gameplay/Mechanics/Animations, it's basically a DLC that was sold standalone for full price. And with it being sold as such, a lot of people (including myself) would have wanted a proper, explorable racoon city, there's also the aspect about how Nemesis himself has been degraded to Crash Bandicoot moments.

The whole project feels like a squandered opportunity.

If i was capcom, i would have retooled the game into being DLC /a low cost standalone game serving as an intermediary between Remake 2 and a proper remake of 3.

More cardboard boxes :blobevening:

Can you order ? Price ? I get an infinite loading on some part of the page.
I got pre-ordered confirmation email, saying I can complete the purchase 3 days after the new email. But no price.

re: game pass

Well, it had to happen. Between me being stubborn and not the best at tech, I horribly fucked my C: permissions and services to the point of having to repair… but even after that the 0x80070005 issue persists.
I’m of half a mind to waste several more hours moving files and simply formatting and doing a fresh install.

Did people try that ? Could the issue still endures ?

For ref I can install game pass games on c: and d: but suddenly am only allowed to launch them on d:

Yeah, but if this game was 2-3 hours longer, it would still take you less than 10 hours to complete. Still sounds short to me.

I own Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. I was thinking of buying 6 and skipping 3-4-5, is that a good idea? I don't want ot burn myself out on the series and it seems people think that those three are not essential?

Yea don't play 6. It's intentionally a much smaller scope game both in gameplay and story and mostly meant as a farewell to the protagonist, since 7 had the new one with turn based gameplay. It literally opens with a 2 hour long "walking down the memory lane" segment.

Also, 5 is among the best of them anyways.

If you wanna skip anything, do it like NarohDethan said and just play 7. Prevents burnout too since its a completely different game in many aspects. (Altho that gane still references the past games to a degree, but its mostly standalone)

No, you def need those. You can skip to 7 (Like a Dragon), but that's turn based.

So if I generally like the gameplay loop and I don't mind the reused maps, I should play everything?

Seeing a thread about Haunting Ground actually made me consider revisiting the game after all these years. I'm also seeing that someone actually created a HD texture pack for it which looks pretty good. Might actually give it a go to see how it holds up.

It's certainly worth to play everything, because even the worst game is still pretty good.
fwiw, the later games also become increasingly conscious about spicing things up with more minigames and more paced out combat.

Mario movie looks like fun. Seems people have been hating on the art style or whatever before it was shown? It's just modern Mario look with moar graphix 👌

It looks like something I'd watch on a Saturday afternoon if I have nothing else going on. I wouldn't see it in the theater though.

Sure, I didn't expect a Miyazaki masterpiece, it's a silly pixar-esque 3D kids movie. I didn't go to the cinema for those but agree, as all, they're good kid-fun stuff.
