Like I said in my post in the goty thread (for turd of the year) it's one of the worst games I've played in 30 years of gaming. I could only handle 2-3 hours of it before I had to stop. It felt like a shovelware game on steam using stolen sonic assets. My word, Sonic Frontiers sucks ass.
Why does a Sonic game have a skill tree? Why does it have a boring open world littered with icons on a map you need to slowly unlock parts of?
It wears some of AAA gaming’s worst sins with a shit-eating grin. Utterly soulless and devoid of any originality.
A shame because the actual Sonic bits (the short “Cyberspace” levels) are as good as the levels in the Adventure games. It’s just the shit they’ve chosen to encrust those levels in that’s the problem.
that is... an actually good idea.I wish I could turn some of the crap I have in my steam inventory to gems.
If it's not deckard I FUCKING SWEAR!Valve just created a new config app:
Valve Event Upload
New game? Deckard? Or something else?
Maybe we'll finally see Neon Prime.Valve just created a new config app:

Yea I don't see Valve making a wireless VR headset until there are standalone graphics chip capability to run Alyx with good peformance/visuals.Maybe we'll finally see Neon Prime.
I got the feeling Deckard is still a ways out.
tbf Persona is just too longAfter 105 hours I have finally ... reached the Royal part of Persona 5.
This is the single JRPG I have ever replayed. And it will probably stay the only one, these games are just too long. Special shoutout to my Steam Deck and the few minutes of play you can sneak in here and there.
Naaaah.tbf Persona is just too long
Trails games have gotten too long too. ToCS 3 and 4 were also 100+ hour games for me.tbf Persona is just too long
Same when i finished my 2nd walkthrough of P5 i just wished it was longer just like the first time and it’ll happen again when i finish my third playthrough now with RoyalNaaaah.
When it was over i was sad cuz i wanted more.
The SMT Demon Fusion + The Daily Life Management + Waifus is the perfect recipe to an RPG.
The only thing that could make it any more perfect was if it also had basebuilding.

And I doubt they would just release a new mild upgrade over the current Index. The headset is still top of the line not counting the display resolution.
If all the Mcvicker/VNN rumors are true from the past years then Neon Prime is gonna be a multiplayer shooter in the Half-Life universe. Some of the gameplay mechanics leaked from it makes me hopeful its gonna be some secret Team Fortress 3 type game. Valve is in prime position to do it with TF2 being in the meh state its in. Overwatch 2 also didn't make as big of a splash as I thought it would so I think a TF3 could be massive.
Whats the TDLR of this Nvidia 4070 ti stuff?
Overall around 3090 Ti at 1440p, but around 3090 or worse at 4K likely due to a lack of memory bandwidth, Far too expensive for what it isWhats the TDLR of this Nvidia 4070 ti stuff?
A 7000 series card? No.Serious question, in an AMD card a good investment?
How so? It's cheaper, barely slower in rasterization, significantly faster in raytracing, and more energy efficient. And it also has all the software ecosystem advantages of NV. The biggest advantage of the 7900 XT is its memory capacity, but I don't think that will be all that relevant for the usage scenarios of these cards, and I don't think it outweighs all the other factors.it even makes the already overpriced Radeon 7900 XT look good.
Ah, the last reviews I saw had some games that had some pretty sizable gaps between the 4070 Ti and 7900 XT (in favour of the 7900 XT), which affected my perception of the 4070 Ti's overall performance, my bad.How so? (That is not to say that the 4070ti is a good deal at its price - it's not - but IMHO it's still clearly better than the 7900 XT)
Nvidia planned the 4000 series for a crypto market that isn't there anymore and now they're attempting to cut their losses by selling their lower tier offerings at stupid prices because arrow must go up.Whats the TDLR of this Nvidia 4070 ti stuff?
Yeah it really depends on your country. In my country the 6700XT is like $150-200 cheaper than the 3060ti and the 4070 ti is looking to be more expensive than some of the 7900 XT models lolA 7000 series card? No.
At some price points the 6000 series cards can be a decent deal, though it depends on what level you are looking at, and which country you are in.
E.g. the 6650 XT is in stock for ~350 € and a bit faster than the PS5 GPU -- but you can get a RTX 3060 for the same price and I'd argue that's a better overall package.

I agree. Frontiers is a 7/10 that I love like a 10/10. I was fully expecting to go into the game hating the open world and liking the cyberspace levels but it was the other way around. The physics in cyberspace are super weird and feel great in some levels but awful in others. Music consistently slapped though. I also surprisingly enjoyed a lot of what they did with the open world, Though god I wish the aesthetics were better, and wish they did more of the fun obstacle course like areas. The first island only had 1.I enjoyed the open world, clearing small platforming challenges to get collectables, and I also enjoyed most of the mini bosses. The collectables challenges in the first island they can hardly be called challenges though and also the open world offers no replay value atm. Overall it's not for everyone, some people like the open world and others don't. :x
The biggest problem I have with it is the aesthetic of the open world, it's just too generic.
The cyberspace stages, I don't like how Sonic feels to control in them, I ended getting used to it, but it's just so jarring how different they are to control when compared to the open world. I also don't like how short they are, I prefer 2~3 mins stages over these mostly 1 min or less ones.
My overall opinion of the game is that it's very, very flawed, but I enjoyed playing it.
doesnt help that the whole progression system is an online-only featureI believe you can keep Hitman 1 and 2 in Steam library as is if you have them prior the World of Ass change. No guarantees for online features...
farts , i totally forgot ..... lets hope i remember when i come back home from work
I'm really on the fence with Hitman 3.I think I'll snag Hitman 3 before the sale is over. From what I understand, the story contents of Hitman 2 will be there for everyone once it changes names, and that's all I really care about. It's a great series, but it's not like I am interested in the time investment to explore more than just the basic missions.
no one reads my postsJCB used to post a lot when CITYCONNECTION is gonna release new games. Here are two upcoming games published by them
They haven't change the game yet, so there is no CYC. If you got H1 and H2 and want H3 I suggest that you buy it now, since it's on sale and the base price is cheaper than the price increase after the change. Is there some deal that gets you all three hitmans with CYC? I don't see it on the store.
Excuse me, but who are you?no one reads my posts
Excuse me, but who are you?
it's all good, haha just joking aroundJokes aside, I did check if you posted them, but I guess I didn't check hard enough
I just mean all the emojis, stickers, profile backgrounds etc that can't be sold on the marketplace. There's no way to get rid of them.that is... an actually good idea.
On the other hand, if you can cash out your games, some people will do it to really cash out from Steam, and if you have no library on Steam anymore, then you are less likely to still be invested in the platform. So Valve wouldn't do it from that standpoint alone.
Just buy Hitman 3. After 26 January you will get Hitman 2 for free, but without the Gold content.
I already have H1 (minute patient zero)... So what should I do?
Or maybe get H2 expansion pass now when it's discounted.. do you need to have H2 base to buy it?Just buy Hitman 3. After 26 January you will get Hitman 2 for free, but without the Gold content.
You can get Gold content from the new Deluxe content upgrade
I actually 100%ed the original on Steam surprisingly, it's a fun game, I'm not gonna replay the switch port, that game is long AF.Bought Dragon Quest XI and going to restart it for a third time! Played it on the switch, quite a bit! But sold my switch, then played it on game pass and again quite a bit! I still have the save file... but realised that it will mess up achievements on steam so I need to restart.T_T
Is it difficult to complete 100%?I actually 100%ed the original on Steam surprisingly, it's a fun game, I'm not gonna replay the switch port, that game is long AF.
