Assuming this is real, this footage leans into both Robocop factory scene vibes and horror, then doesn't pay off either and feels like pro-police violence sim.

Um, we've played as some kind of authorities or authorized for violence forces in a gazillion games and loads of people are into stuff like Squad, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Swat or even COD. That this happens to look cool in a way that made folks think it's fake doesn't mean it should be scrutinized more than all of these other games put together with that tiny French indie studio specifically targeted as some kind of pro cop violence den. Sheesh. The dream is still for cops to be heroes that do shit for the citizens, even if it's not true 99.99% of the time games are a fantasy, even when realistic. I like Lethal Weapon and Die Hard and Rush Hour and Law & Order and detective Monk and Batman and their cop friends that also work against corrupt cops and Brooklyn Nine-Nine and tons of other detective/cop/related stuff among other completely unrelated media and that doesn't mean I think of any real cop as the same as any of those folks either. At least wait to judge the narrative. What do you think, that you'll be attacking innocent folks in their homes, or that they will have news stories of your cases where you're blamed for doing that while from playing you will know that is not at all what happened so it's legit trying to imply that's how shit goes..?

I mean I guess but in Spec Ops the line everyone seemingly enjoyed that one a lot and it was just Warcrimes in the desert the FPS

Patch is crazy huge.
DreamLeague playoffs are tomorrow. 1 day to adjust to the new patch. Should be interesting to watch.
Spec Ops was at least attempting to critic the players actions and satirize the 1 man army/hero fantasy tropes that shooters often are (re: it's loading screen messages).
Unless there is a lot more going on in Unrecord, and maybe there is, but they've shown nothing really - it's just cops killing people played straight with a topical camera mechanic. Guy has to know how that looks in 2023 and is either holding out on us or is aiming for that audience. Controversy breeds clicks, so I'm thinking it's a bit of both.
I must say that I am really hyped for Jedi Survivor.
Would this give us the game the way Hori invisioned it? With no command menu and you just typing the commands? I think that's how the original worked at least, I'm hoping it's not too picky

Greg was always annoying. From his IGN days and onward. People hire him as presenter and in my opinion he is really bad as presenter. He talks too fast andhe doesn't speak clearly, things that good presenter really needs. And he is even worse when he runs his own shows. But his audience likes it so he continues 5o behave like that.
Obviously i think this is something else but my first thought was Street Fighter 6, the demo just launched on Playstation and is coming to Steam in a couple days and maybe, just maybe, Valve wants the Steam Deck to be a viable platform for tournaments.

I’m surprised at how much I love Xenoblade 2. I guess making a cast who doesn’t channel the charisma of a dead animal helps. Who would have guessed ?

All in all an incredibly good surprise... If the emulation didn’t softlock like there is no tomorrow, and if I could get back in a save often state of mind. I swear I must have 1/3 of my playtime replaying content.
