I forgot to post about it yesterday but I've 100% Animal Well and it was such an incredible game. I got mostly of the eggs and 7 or 8 bunnies by myself but I had to look for a guide for some of them. Loved every time I was exploring that well.

Played Until Dawn for a couple hours. Still in the first chapter after the (pretty well done) prologue, and it's playing the "teens in a cabin in the woods" horror cliche pretty straight. Visually it's pretty stunning and runs pretty great, with DLSS at Quality and FG I'm getting 120+ at 4K, at max settings. Some annoying bugs, sadly. There's a repeatable one with the "relationships" menu, when you enter it via the shortcut during a scene transition (happened to me accidentally when taking screenshots) and the game gets stuck. Hope they fix that quick, but it is also easy to avoid, just don't go into that menu directly (entering it via the pause menu seems safe).

It's nice that Supermassive's first game is now on PC. Always wanted to check out more of their games, and starting with Until Dawn seems like the best place to start.

Those reviews for Silent Hill 2 remake are looking very good. Its sitting at #7 on the Steam global sellers list too.

All the haters gonna have to sign the Bloober apology form :so-good-blob:

Hopefully this is a start of some good win streaks for Konami and Delta gets good reviews/sales too.

Let them remake all the Silent Hill and MGS games. And do remakes of Castlevania too or just make some new inspired ones for the next gen.

Bit too late for that, considering that 2/5 Silent Hill projects are already released and beyond horrible

To be honest it's the only one worth playing.

Silent Hill F is the next mainline one right? As long as that one does decent and gets at least 8/10 reviews I think Konami would chalk it up as a win. We will see. If there is money in it they will definitely push for remakes of all the other old games too. They will follow the Capcom strategy and they are not afraid to outsource this stuff as well.

It's nice to see that Atlus is aware of the issues and working hard to fix them. Wouldn't have expected them to fix things so soon, and I'm quite happy to have been wrong.
From what I've seen, they just put a debug build originally.

On the one hand, it's nice that they are at least doing something.

On the other hand, I hate the fact that doing the bare minimum to ensure that you are not shipping a pessimized game after you've already delivered a public build, and when you are still not really supporting any PC specific nice-to-haves, is already praiseworthy because the standards are so low.

With Persona 5 Strikers in the Choice, I figured I should continue Royal (at the 2nd palace), but man, these games are hell to me.
Rationally I know that worrying about "being efficient" isn't the point and it's all about doing whatever you want, but the way the game is designed pushes me into being efficient and then I look up what's "optimal" and sooner or later get overwhelmed and bail.

If you're talking about the social part then you can really just stop worrying. My somewhat optimized playthrough ended up with me having nothing to do for like last 2 months of the game.

Persona 5 is fairly lenient compared to the other games. You should try to finish dungeons in as little time as possible (some will only take one day while others have roadblocks that'll take an additional day). You should focus on confidants over social stats except when you have a confidant gated behind a social stat. I will say you should try to get Guts to rank 3 ASAP as Kawakami is probably the best confidant in terms of getting more time slots with Chihaya being a close second. You should also try to do as many Mementos requests in one run to be more efficient.

Also you may already know this, but Maruki is required to be rank 9 by November 17 to get the new chapter. Goro and Kasumi should also be completed before December to get the full experience, but they aren't necessary.

Not a single outlet/journalist asked developers about their opinion regarding Epic store ever since initial few months. Also not a single outlet/journalist asked Sony regarding this whole region locking thing and if they have intention to do something about it.

Back when i played the game i followed a 6-7 step strategy that i found that was basically what you should prioritize and I had a bunch of time to spare I searched the answers for the social links, tho

What exactly do you want them to ask about in this case ?At some point it became clear that hyping them was a waste of time.

I'm with you. I refuse to play a Persona game without a 100% Guide and it's annoying to a degree, but a self-made hell so I can't complain too much.

If they moved off the High-school setting finally they could easily loosen the schedule aspect of the gameplay.

Making my way through Until Dawn, hit Chapter 4 now. Game is good fun so far, so I can't quite share the opinion that none of their games are worth playing. They are doing a good job capturing some pretty annoying characters, as well as some very interesting ones. A very important feature in a slasher film! The mystery as to what is going on is so far still pretty effective, even if it sounds like it will be a bit too convoluted for its own good. But there's still 60% of game in front of me, so let's see where this journey ends.

Been trying some Farming Sim games today, mainly 3D games, but I still seem to come back to Stardew Valley.

Coral Island - 3D stardew copycat, but ddidn't like it, felt worse in every way.
My time at Portia - ugly, slow, didn't click

Have yet to try Sun Haven, Graveyard Keeper, Roots of Pacha and Fields of Ministria.

to be honest this is probably the biggest reason I haven't gotten around to playing a Persona game even though i'd like to someday

The game is great.

How long do refunds usually take? Been waiting for 2 weeks.

Approval of refund on games, if you are less than 2 weeks from purchase and less than 2 hours played, usually take less than a couple hours to be approved as it is automated. Refund of money is 24 hours if refunded as Steam Wallet funds and usually like 3 to 5 days, but up to 10 days, if back to original payment method

Don't freak out about stutter in SH2 Remake, it's only occasional when switching between certain areas. It's a nice port from what I played so far. Not perfect, but surprisingly good considered it's UE5
So only traversal stutter? That's better than I expected from some of the reactions.

Then I have no idea what's going on with mine.

Noticed Metaphor ReFantazio Demo got an update. I took ages and found out it downloaded the update files to my HDD and then copied it to SSD. There is this one single file with 53GB o_O
