I've been playing a lot of games not released this year, and there are more to come. I am really looking forward to checking out Battle Brothers again with the new DLC though.

To be clear: my permanent ban on Era was self requested, after seeing several members with a strong opinion against Epic's strategy deciding to support Epic anyway for a €10 discount.
For years I told myself that I could at least make a minor difference, by trying to make people aware of the long-term consequences of the actions of certain big companies. The fact that many people don't agree or don't care about my opinions is perfectly fine and doesn't bother me at all.
But seeing what happened today - people who DO care caving in to get a lousy €10 discount - as well as the many people laughing at me for sticking to my principles, made me realize that my "fight" isn't worth facing the endless amount of shitposting and trolling that plagues every EGS related topic, or even pc gaming related topics in general.
Most of the Era members I like are here on MC, so this is my exclusive home from now on. This will save me a lot of frustrations, and I guess for the people on Era as well. It seems my posts were seen as "hostile" lately, and that's really not how I am in real life, nor how I want to be.

I (very briefly) owned a PS3, before I gave it to my younger brother, and the only game I ever bought on PSN was this one.

I don't blame you Ge0force. I always try to stay civil in those threads, but it just gets ridiculous.
