Any game by Larian is fantastic news but honestly I'd rather have D:OS3 at this point than BG3, still I'm rather curious to see how they pull off RTwP combat. I also can't shake the feeling Timmy is already loading the money trucks... (or maybe I'm just old and jaded)

You can be both old and jaded and this would be something Old Man Sweeney would definitely want on his EGS. Larian are smart enough not to shit where they eat though, having seen what crowdfunding/fan support can mean
edit: i hope

There's no guarantee that it will be RTWP. If Larian was specifically tapped for it, it could be because they're good at turn-based systems.

An hour and a half into Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, I can confidently say that it's really cool - with caveats.
The artstyle is really beautiful, the combat is fun and most importantly the story and lore are really intriguing, the writing is sharp and the voice acting great. The world is really fascinating and there's so much lore you find.
That's also the caveat, because as such there's a looooot of reading. In the last hour that wasn't the tutorial there were only 2 fights. I don't really mind that as long as the reading is interesting (which it has been!), but it's likely not everyone's cup of tea.

Sounds good! I bought it on release day but haven't played it yet.XD I got the impression it would be quite linear and think that's why I haven't played it

Yeah, it's been entirely linear so far and I don't think that will change. Personally don't really mind that, I like good linear and focused experiences :)

Oh this game will clearly get a high offer from EGS. I just don't think Larian will go for it, considering they are doing great financially and there's no reason to ruin their high reputation over this.

See now, this is the wrong way to do it. You've got a good 4 posts you could have spammed out, but consolidated them all into one. You'll be a junior forever at this rate (like me!).
You make a good point sir! But unfortunately if I were to game the system then Liquid Snake would be like:

Yeah, it sucks :/ I'm hesitant to put money on Bnet because I've had three break in attempts on my account. If I hadnt had 2FA in place it would have been a mess.
I just signed in to battle.net to set up 2FA, but you need to use their own super special authenicator? I already have FOUR of these stupid apps on my phone. Five if you count the Steam app. Fucking annoying. This is the kind of thing that will make people not bother -- standardize, already!

I backed it on Kickstarter and still haven't even installed it. I'm a mess.

How mad will you be if it's Xbox/EGS sclusive?
Not at all, it won't be a worse game because I play it 12 months later (or is it 6 now?). Most likely a better one.

That said, I wouldn't expect Swen to do that.

Hey, lashman , it looks like some hacker hijacked Durantes account. I knew Meta should have implemented some 2FA
It would be a worse game by being TB, but at least Larian is extremely good at TB so it wouldn't be too bad ;)

I'm not sure if you can choose to use the Google one for example. But yeah, I have three or four of those things.

What I wouldn't give for Microsoft to release Project Gotham Racing 4 on Steam. :)
Or to remember that they own Freelancer, and re-release an enhanced version on Steam.
Oh gosh, I can't name the things I'd do for PGR4 on PC. Honestly, I'd gladly pay full price for any PGR on Steam.

i don't even need that ... just bring all those games to steam and i'll happily re-buy all of them, i don't even care, lol :p
Yup, that's my plan as long as they have Steam Cloud and achievements. If not, well, I'd skip something like Crackdown 3 but wouldn't mind missing those features for Forza, Rare Replay and Age.

.... ok.. fine. Everyone keeps talking about how good it is.

I will buy Void Bastards even though Rogue-like is not my favorite genre (with some exceptions). Might as well use that 25% off coupon.

Insert bully emoji here :p

I'm going to take a wild guess that you aren't really sorry :p

And lose my fast card drop (even though I don't do any farming)? Never!

I know that are probably a lot people with just the store page open, but Steam had 2,985 viewers for the Void Bastard stream witch is not that bad when compared to 4,419 viewers on Twitch.

The game looks really good, but I'm going to wait a couple of days to play Void Bastards to see if they implement rebinding of the mouse buttons (or if someone finds a workaround). I can play with traditional WASD but really prefer to use mouse2 to walk/run. And yes, I know it's weird...

Lots of betas going on lately (well, on PS4 but anyway), Nioh 2, GBFV and now Code Vein, I guess devs want to hear impressions before E3?
