An hour and a half into
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, I can confidently say that it's really cool - with caveats.
The artstyle is really beautiful, the combat is fun and most importantly the story and lore are really intriguing, the writing is sharp and the voice acting great. The world is really fascinating and there's so much lore you find.
That's also the caveat, because as such there's a looooot of reading. In the last hour that wasn't the tutorial there were only 2 fights. I don't really mind that as long as the reading is interesting (which it has been!), but it's likely not everyone's cup of tea.
