I don't have permission.i'll just leave this here:
Why? What's the point?you need 197 more posts
Well that statement was more in regards to MS store . Lots of dumb defenders said for years that "you should buy it on MS store because it will never ever come to Steam, just accept it already!"i couldn't even if i wanted to i only have a PC
i want more Original Sin!!!!Omg omg omg!
Divinity 3? Original Sin 3? Either way, I'll be there day 1!
if it makes you feel better - you're only 45 posts away - that's how many i do on a bad day lol
Discrimination!!! I mean... I get that given the nature of this forum you have to be strict about full member status, but you don't have to rub our noses in it by posting restricted links... that's just rudeyou need 197 more posts
you will be able to - if it ever gets added ... this is just a suggestion forumSo I can't be part of the live stream chat then?
That's sad.
sorrythat's just rude
Original Sin 3? I need to start playing the first gameOmg omg omg!
Divinity 3? Original Sin 3? Either way, I'll be there day 1!
You know you must be doing something wrong when you can't get a guy like me, who is a massive fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, who saw the first film 36 times in the cinema (and the second one 12 times; the latest one I saw once, and it was enough ), who owns the films and animation series in pretty much all formats, shapes and sizes, who owns the various video games in almost every format you can think of (including, for this particular one, the PC version, the Xbox 360 version, and the Wii version), to buy a Ghostbusters videogame from your store.too late - already confirmed egsclusive
it's just a shitty situation all around ... because you know there would've been some kind of a discount for owners of the original version if they released it on steam ....You know you must be doing something wrong when you can't get a guy like me, who is a massive fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, who saw the first film 36 times in the cinema (and the second one 12 times; the latest one I saw once, and it was enough ), who owns the films and animation series in pretty much all formats, shapes and sizes, who owns the various video games in almost every format you can think of (including, for this particular one, the PC version, the Xbox 360 version, and the Wii version), to buy a Ghostbusters videogame from your store.
Yes: not even Ghostbusters will make me use the EGS! Not even if it was free!
SE hasn't been paid off by Epic yet either so this is a good sign.
Well I guess I’m not complaining.
I wouldn't even need a discount: a remaster of the original game would be pretty much a guaranteed day one purchase for me, no matter the price.it's just a shitty situation all around ... because you know there would've been some kind of a discount for owners of the original version if they released it on steam ....
I'm confused, why is there a round 2 if there is no round 1?
weirdo!I'm a "fanatical" Ghosthead, and I already have two different versions of the upcoming BD+UHD 35th Anniversary boxsets pre-ordered.
oh ... i do hahaYou know it!
tbh i dont give a shit but in the document (that i read twice now) i couldn't find an answer to his question.Terms and rules
metacouncil.com
lashman will correct me if I'm wrong, but the "limitation" is either for a certain number of points, or being a member for a certain number of months.tbh i dont give a shit but in the document (that i read twice now) i couldn't find an answer to his question.
in the terms and conditions it is stated that it is the way it is. not whats the point of it. and tbh i don't see a point.
just posting to get postings? maybe i don't want to spam the forum with my mindshit thats not important or intelligent? If i want to say something i do but yeah, i don't see a point (but I really don't care either! if i would care i would spam happy birthdays to everyone and would be non junior in a few days!)
that's probably correct, yeah ... that's how i read the ToS at leastI believe this (limiting the privileges of new-ish members) is done because, as soon as you reach full member status, you can start send warnings and reports on fellow members, which result in automatic bans after a few ones are issued.
Unfortunately, I would guess this is needed to prevent abuse.
well, i could understand the timelimit. or the postslimit. but why both? but continue on, i don't give a shit.lashman will correct me if I'm wrong, but the "limitation" is either for a certain number of points, or being a member for a certain number of months.

Maybe the number of posts limit can be decreased?
Ah shit, I forgot about thattoo late - already confirmed egsclusive
Again, lashman may clarify this?well, i could understand the timelimit. or the postslimit. but why both? but continue on, i don't give a shit.
It's both, Since I for example have more than 3 months but not 300 posts and can't access the link (or profiles pages).Again, lashman may clarify this?
I'm just a fellow forum member like you, so I don't know shit.
But, I do not think this is done as a way of making anyone feel unwelcome, or create two tiers of users.
Maybe something can be done about this, to prevent people feeling "left out" on some questions?
Because otherwise trolls would create inactive accounts and just wait the three months to start annoying people. The 300 post count is a little high for they way I post (and maybe for the current traffic this forum gets) but as I said before, in this forum it really needs to exists.well, i could understand the timelimit. or the postslimit. but why both? but continue on, i don't give a shit.
so am iI'm just a fellow forum member like you
i do believe that's the case, yes .... i think there's just a lot of power that comes with a full member status that could be easily abused if someone could just wait 3 months (or whatever) to get that status, without posting anything ... or, alternatively, they could just post some vaguely informative stuff and get 300 posts immediately (i personally get like 300 posts in like 2 days) ... that's probably why it's bothBut, I do not think this is done as a way for making anyone feel unwelcome, or create two tiers of users.
nah it wasn't your post, it was the link lash posted to the tos where the point wasn't explained. and you all explained it, afraid that trolls would troll. but, isn't the feature why you are restricted to be jr also capable of getting rid of any trolls if there would be any? (and if someone really takes the time to make an account with a non free email and then wait 3 months and then remembers to troll, he earned it tbhOh crap... maybe I shouldn't have complained about the restricted link in jest... but I'm going to point the finger at lashman and say it's all his fault

Made they're better ways, but I think any solution will always have some drawbacks.
The only thing I would call "mildly annoying" is not being able to see profile pages when I click on the user avatar, specially since a lot of the information is already on the pull-down menu, and that just because it gets in the way of navigating the pages. But it certainly isn't crippling.plus - i don't think anything ESSENTIAL is locked behind being a full member ... or at least nothing that would make the forum completely unusable (or even mildly annoying) for anyone that isn't one
I never underestimate the lengths people go to annoy othersnah it wasn't your post, it was the link lash posted to the tos where the point wasn't explained. and you all explained it, afraid that trolls would troll. but, isn't the feature why you are restricted to be jr also capable of getting rid of any trolls if there would be any? I'll just continue to post about this to get to 300
(really, despite posting about it, i really don't care, no need to change anything)
everyone who bought the game at release will get all DLC for freeNew DLC. Which I own for some reason.
Copies of the game bought before a certain date (I believe it was launch week) get all upcoming DLC for free.
New DLC. Which I own for some reason.
Yeah, it sucks :/ I'm hesitant to put money on Bnet because I've had three break in attempts on my account. If I hadnt had 2FA in place it would have been a mess.won't be on steam, though
Shame, hope to see it in a Humble next year or so then.won't be on steam, though
makes it all the easier for me tbh ... i just won't buy it (again) ... i can live with thatYeah, it sucks :/ I'm hesitant to put money on Bnet because I've had three break in attempts on my account. If I hadnt had 2FA in place it would have been a mess.
i don't even have an account (and i don't plan on changing that) ... so - no cod for me ... ah wellI've bought enough of things from Battle.net anyway.
