I wish to see their desperation while they are booed but I also think that Epic's wallet is deep enough to buy louder YEAAAHs than the ones that annoyed us during the Beth show.
I want to watch how much dignity Sweeney's dollars can buy and I want to feel sad for them.

This seems like an incredibly stupid idea. Most autochess players are Chinese. EGS isnt popular at all in China. Whats stopping Valve from eating them alive with Underlords?

Riot is adding an Auto Chess variant to League of Legends (which has like a hundred million Chinese players already) within the month. And it's going to have a Ranked mode almost right away as well.
Guess Auto Chess figures they might as well make some money from EGS since they already lost that race.

The 2009 Ghostbusters game was delisted due to license years ago, the 2016 game was delisted on Jan. 30th this year, which IIRC is around the time that Acti usually drops licenses etc.
Just talking to a mate on Steam who backed Shenmue 3 and he's absolutely fuming. He's not even someone who hates Epic as his tastes are mostly for games that aren't even for games Epic has or wants on their store but he feels like he's been completely blindsided as it was never a choice or even mentioned before. Hope he can get the refund he wants.

Thank you Sega for having asinine regional pricing on Shenmue 1+2 HD so I never had the chance to actually become invested into the series before this broke out as I was waiting on a sale.

I'd just graduated from university when the campaign had begun. I was broke and unemployed, looking for work. But I'd managed to set a bit of cash aside (about $100) to buy any games that might interest me throughout the rest of the year, assuming my job search didn't go well. I was planning to just spend it on Steam or PSN sales and get a load of stuff for cheap.
Then E3 rolled around and the Shenmue III Kickstarter launched, and every penny I could spare went into it. It wasn't much, but it was well over the odds what I'd normally pay for a game. That's how much I love Shenmue. I didn't play any new games until my birthday later that year, and shortly after I did find a job, but I was broke as fuck for about 4-5 months for that game.
I am going to claim back every fucking penny I gave to them. Every single one. I will resort to every trick I can to get it. PayPal disputes, credit card charge backs, you name it.

Good luck with that, since what made DOtA Auto Chess popular is the DOTA name and characters.
I don't think it will be like Defense of the Ancients from WarCraft to DotA II. After all, we were playing DotA for almost a decade before Valve gave Ice Frog a job. Of course, Guinsoo and that other guy who makes LEague was a different story....

I know how you feel.
I spent hundreds of € collecting rare materials (demos, japanese vhs promo tapes, movie DVD, different versions of the games) throughout the years, and I dropped around $300 on the campaign.
Even "funnier", not long ago I even crowdfunded a documentary on the series.
Oh well. fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Needless to say, I'm not pleased, but since I don't suffer from short term memory, all parties involved are not seeing a further cent from me.
Can someone list the games/devs/publishers involved in exclusivity deals that were announced at the EGS Gamer Show? I'm already aware of Shenmue 3, and while I don't know the series, Deep Silver is on my blacklist completely from now on.
