I forgot to post on this topic. :giggle:

I made a birthday giveaway in the giveaway thread:

Since I know some people don't check many threads outside the monthly one, I just wanted to give you all a heads-up.
Most games are yet to be claimed.

Hopefully you'll get some enjoyment out of these.
Cheers. :highfiveblob:

Nights on Wii wasn't well regarded from what I've read :X
It was weird as hell but I had a lot of fun with it. Though the controls and camera sucked. It'd probably control better on other platforms since it isnt limited to the Wii controls.

Unfortunately we don't get a lot of games as weird and unique as Nights anymore so hopefully this is a remaster of Journey of Dreams or a full sequel and not some mobile game.

Pretty much this. Just like Banana Blitz, it isn't bad, but it isn't like the previous game, nor isn't super polished, however it's fun. It's a decent 6.5 ~ 7 out 10 game.
Anyone know if I can sell my Wolfenstein Code from my 2070 Super to anyone or do they have to have a RTX?

Anyway, excited for Monster Boy this week
I think that newer codes require you to download the NVidia verification app in order to claim the actual game. Not sure if it's still possible for you to claim the promo and transfer the account to the buyer like people did with AMD codes.

I wrapped up Ys VIII yesterday. Man, this game is fantastic and deserved so much better than NISA... The redone localization seemed serviceable to me but holy fuck is that port ROUGH. Crashing, unstable framerate (downright abysmal in some areas) and just low effort in general. Really makes you appreciate how Durante went above and beyond with the Cold Steel ports. And now I'm depressed all over again that Trails is now in their hands. :(

I'm at least mildly hopeful about the localization being serviceable but unless they hired PH3 then I expect the worst if it ever comes to PC...
Durante blink twice if you're secretly working on it! :p

I assume they used the same method to port it to PC as they did for for Ys VIII: Force their janitor to do some overtime, give him a bunch of C++ primers and let him do the base work.
If that doesn't work out, they'll half heatedly find a one-person team that will do the remaining work and keep him hired until it crashes on only half the PC it officially supports.

Just 2 more days before Monster Boy on steam. Can't wait.

I'm continuing my on and off playing Sunset Overdrive and I can't believe Insomniac locked the one thing that ties their great movement system in Sunset Overdrive 7-8 hours into the game (air boost). What the hell? Traversing is now amazingly fun. They also casually drop in the dive bomb skill around the same time which is a super useful move for movement as well.

I finished Half Life, Opposing Force, and Blue Shift about a week or 2 apart from each other .

I recommend giving the games ago, it took me 30 hours or so to beat all 3 of them...

8/10 overall.

Time to play Portal Knight (I've been in the mode for a Minecraft like game and this one is already in my library) and then play the new FE game this Friday

Great games, I built a computer just for Half-Life (Cyrix MediaGX 233hz with MMX and a Voodoo 2, my first ever dedicated graphics card).

Just found out about this whole mess.

And they're still selling the old, abandoned version of the game today lol.

Dev comment:
"the game got all its reviews in the first week of launch pretty much. Every issue from then is now fixed, and it was our first experience with early access. Or releasing a game on steam. And people dont seem to change reviews once theyre made, even if the game changes.
Its eye opening"

Not the first game to do that. We were just talking about Bard's Tale IV Director's Cut being a separate page for similar reasons the other day.

Maybe the first to still be in early access while doing that? I dunno. Probably not.

Which means more work to do for Valve. Steam is becoming more messy with lots of old issues that are yet to be resolved.

I basically plowed through InnerSpace in a single sitting, more or less. Wanted something small-ish to finish, and since I just got it from the GMG sale as a "freebie" I figured it might fit the bill. The game itself was just alright, but it was probably worth the play. Kinda the same way I felt about Abzu a few years back, really.

I went with a code through Geforce Experience and got a code for EGS and Bethesda thing.

That GMG Intel deal is OK. Looks like Intel's site sucks at math just like I do, so I accidentally took more than 4 games. Oops. (Now waiting news letter sub game)

Following for 5€:

Quarantine
AdVenture Capitalist - Savvy Investor Bundle
Let's Sing 2016
Pinball FX3 - Star Wars™ Pinball
Pinball FX3 - Star Wars™ Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack
Pinball FX3 - Star Wars™ Pinball: Heroes Within
Star Trek: Bridge Crew
GoatPunks

In for Pinball FX3 DLCs and Star Trek really. prob worth it.

I find it absolutely baffling that I can buy a bunch of 3D porno games on Steam
BUT BETHESDA HASN'T BOTHERED TO MAKE THE NEW WOLFENSTEIN GAME AVAILABLE IN MY REGION/COUNTRY

Sorry I keep bringing this up but like what about this game prevents it from being sold on Steam for me? There are other games that would be OK in my region but nope not sold on there. Not like its some license shit like in Asia, EU or US or whatever

Doesn't help that Bethy is dumbfuck adamant on their client. At least MS sells steam keys on humble for one thing.

I keep forgetting about this game. There are SO many things I don't have the time to play, it's ridiculous.
Every time EGS logo pops up at the end in a video game trailer

Not that I care what others choose to do with their money, but weren't you an EGS customer? :p

SD Gundam Generation and Super Robot Wars announced at the same year.

2019 confirmed to be the peak of PC gaming. :coffee-blob:
It's crazy :sweaty-blob:
Just think about it:
-Digimon Cyber Sleuth 1 and 2 coming to PC
-SD Gundam coming to PC
-Super Robot Wars X and V coming to PC
-Disaster Report 4 coming to PC

LIKE, WHAT THE HELL? WHY I'M LOVING THIS SO MUCH?!? THIS MEANS A LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND AND TIME TO WASTE 😭
(and nope, I can't buy everything at the wished pace, but will do my best haha)

Both Gundam and SupaRoboTai games will be region locked to Japan/Southern Asia, so I wouldn't count them as playable... :\

Well, everything is possible, and even if they don't come to the west, I'm just happy that they are coming to PC in general, that's amazing. something that was impossible to even think about some years ago, don't you think? ☺

There's also Story of Seasons finally coming to PC (albeit Doraemon spin-off), as well as minor ones like Langrisser I & II & Alliance Alive HD.

Wouldn't you be able to buy the keys and activate it from any Steam region?

As I said, there's sooooo many games coming to PC that were impossible to think about being there a few years ago that I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER EVERYTHING :sweaty-blob:

It's Amazing.

And yes, VPN could let us buy it-

also dont forget wee had Gundam Breaker game few months ago Mor , even though it was the shitty one
I thought it was a correct game, not even close to Gundam Breaker 3 BUT not as bad as I thought it would be, just very limited and not that inspired.

And now I'm depressed all over again that Trails is now in their hands. :(

The bad thing about this whole saga is that Falcom will continue to have a working relationship with NISA as long as they can move units for PS4 and Switch. As long as the sales numbers look good during Falcom's investors' meeting, Kondo wouldn't care if the PC version has been abandoned and left to rot.

Secondly, anyone who has played any Trails games extensively can tell you that Xseed's localization was really second to none. Will NISA's localization of Cold Steel III retains the same flair, terminologies, and character traits? I simply don't have the confidence.

Anyway, apologies if I always sound negative whenever this topic comes up. I'm sure Theswweet 's review of CS3 will be most illuminating when the time comes. Until then...
