Meanwhile in MexicoIt's going to be 42°c tomorrow in Paris, so if I don't make it, just wanted to say I love you all!
Stay safe y'all. It's going to be 42°c tomorrow in Paris, so if I don't make it, just wanted to say I love you all!
Holy shit I'm scared of those kind of temperatures. I hate heat waves, but I never had to deal with more than 35c - nor want to deal with anything above that. How do I postpone December (and summer as a whole) forever? It's going to be 42°c tomorrow in Paris, so if I don't make it, just wanted to say I love you all!
Don't worry, given current trends, you'll soon have to deal with 50C+ heatwaves.Holy shit I'm scared of those kind of temperatures. I hate heat waves, but I never had to deal with more than 35c - nor want to deal with anything above that. How do I postpone December (and summer as a whole) forever?
Anyway, I wish you luck - remember to drink lots of water and all that.
Once we had a 45 summer here, fun times.Holy shit I'm scared of those kind of temperatures. I hate heat waves, but I never had to deal with more than 35c - nor want to deal with anything above that. How do I postpone December (and summer as a whole) forever?

Man I feel you, it's going to be 41°c in The Netherlands tomorrow. It's going to be 42°c tomorrow in Paris, so if I don't make it, just wanted to say I love you all!
The Toki Tori 2 developers made the mistake of delaying the PC version so they could give the Wii U an exclusive launch. That worked really well for them.Toki Tori 2, Tetrobot & Co. (If you consider it a sequel to Blocks that matter), Shelter 2,... maybe Ittle Dew 2? I know there are tons more, but for some reason I'm drawing a blank.
Wait - 45c as a average temp during the whole summer? I mean, be it the avg or not, anyone who goes through one of these summers get my respect.Once we had a 45 summer here, fun times.
And there's still a bunch of degenerates who prefer that than some mild cold weather.
Take care and stay cool my dude.Man I feel you, it's going to be 41°c in The Netherlands tomorrow.
There's some games that never left GOG for a reason or another. SWAT 4, Soldier of Fortune franchise, The Suffering, the original Rainbow Six, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, Neverwinter Nights 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, classic Rayman games, Icewind Dale 2, I.G.I. 2, Empire Earth franchise, etc. Finally got into the GOG 2.0 beta. Kind of impressive how quickly and seamlessly it integrated my 1500+ games Steam library. From looking at Epic, I was starting to get the impression that developing a quality client was some near-impossible feat of engineering!
Can't say I see myself using it all that much though, since most of what I wanna play is on the actual Steam client. Although it will be nice not having to reinstall Origin for those once-in-a-decade times I feel like playing an EA game. It might end up pushing me towards buying more from GOG, too. Last I checked, they had some neat exclusives for when you're in a retro mood. Is there a comprehensive list available somewhere? Can only think of the Blizzard games right now.
Might and Magic 1-9, Heroes of Might and Magic 1-4+Chronicles, Albion, Anvil of Dawn, Wing Commander, Close Combat, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 to name but a few. There's some games that never left GOG for a reason or another. I wonder what's up with this. I can't find any particular offer/bundle with these games and the number bumps are so synchronized it can't be nothing but bots, idling, but where are they getting the games from?Did something happen with VR? A bunch of VR games skyrocketed in player count last night. Beat Saber is at 29.8k players right now, While it was at 1k like 13 hours ago.
GORN, Beat Saber, Skyrim VR (its on sale though), SuperHot VR and Sword of Sorcery are all at their all time high player count, and they all jumped in player count around 12 hours ago.
Are they actually categorizing the achievements? Nobody seems to remember you can do that on Steam, like how TF2 has different lists for each class.
They really arent slowing down huh? It seems like they're planning to add all 600 achievements (+ the new ones for reach) all at once because looking through the SteamDB list, There's Halo CE, 2 and 4 specific achievements alongside several new ones that aren't on Xbox (I assume these are the Reach specific ones)
Man people who want to 100% the game are going to have a hard time. Not only can you not 100% it until all the games are out, but over 600 achievements. Good luck to the brave souls going for that.
Bad North: Jotunn Edition brings exciting new updates to the Viking defense microstrategy game. Unlock traits to empower your commanders and change the flow of battle across playthroughs, acquire new items like explosive mines, take on the challenge of Very Hard difficulty and plenty quality-of-life upgrades in this free content update.
Probably not, They’ll likely just put the name of the game the achievements are for in the descriptions like they do on Xbox. Wish more devs would use the categories, if Valve even lets you do that still. Are they actually categorizing the achievements? Nobody seems to remember you can do that on Steam, like how TF2 has different lists for each class.
Just a day after reading about their games gave me a new appreciation for how unique they were (especially the earlier ones)nooooooooooo
yeah ... and now BigBen own both: Cyanide and SpidersJust a day after reading about their games gave me a new appreciation for how unique they were (especially the earlier ones)
Can someone explain to me why people are upset about this? Did BigBen do something shitty?yeah ... and now BigBen own both: Cyanide and Spiders
they're not exactly a top-tier publisher (to put it lightly)Can someone explain to me why people are upset about this? Did BigBen do something shitty?
Personally, I'm not a big fan of Big Ben. Buggy releases, games that launch downright broken, with minimal post-launch support. Can someone explain to me why people are upset about this? Did BigBen do something shitty?
Just change your current GOG account email to that email. I had to.I got into the GOG Galaxy thing, what sucks though is that the email that I signed up for is not tied to my GOG account so I can not access that information?
Let me try and properly state my position on this, this time.I strongly disagree with this. Whether Epic succeeds or not is mostly dependent on pc gamers accepting or rejecting their strategy based on moneyhatting and crippling other storefronts.
By buying games on EGS, you're actually telling both Epic and the devs involved that you're fine with this strategy.
well at least we know the levels will be greatAgainst my better judgement I went ahead and bought wolfenstein. Arkane working on the level design in this is my only hope for it, but even then I'm not expecting to get very much out of this game. And the co-op focus still upsets me a bit.
As with real elections, when everybody votes for the shitty party because you personally get a few benefits the shitty party will win everytime (like it happened where I live for a veeeery long time until the main party shithead crashed himself to death after he drank too much and the rest of the party sank in their incompetence the following months), Epic would have already won if everyone would think like you do. Tbh I don't really believe you think this way, it's a form of self deception.Let's say we have a vote consisting of a very sizable population, in the magnitude of millions. The final result of that vote represents the overall majority opinion. A person's individual vote doesn't actually mean much in how it influences that final result, and their individual vote does not represent that final result.
So, I do not feel that my one purchase weighs against the people who will never buy anything on the Epic Store, the efforts I have and will continue to make to persuade people against it, and Epic's sheer incompetence.
How big of a difference are they? Those PS4 QuakeCon sale prices compared to the Steam ones....
Even crazier when you compare it towards the additional 15% off GMG prices for first time customers.
The disparity is something straight out of 2013.
Most of the titles are 2x as expensive. Even with the additional PS+ discount in most cases. How big of a difference are they?
Ouch that is "bad", I wonder how the prices on the eshop are like when ever those go on sale. Most of the titles are 2x as expensive. Even with the additional PS+ discount in most cases.
Ima add u later today buddy. Now that I have 11 Steam friends, I can see that I'm a low-value friend and why you all rank up your badges and so on. I'll try to play more games on PC and improve my lot. I also hope this doesn't mean that you all can see how many games I start and don't finish.
It was like that during golden week too a few months ago. I remember specifically ni no kuni 2 was like $36 on ps4 and about $20 on Steam I think it was. Most of the titles are 2x as expensive. Even with the additional PS+ discount in most cases.
