My current phone is a middle-of-the-road Huawei lol, but my previous one was a flagship HTC I loved to death. (the all metal HTC One M7). And literally I loved it to death, I used it for almost 5 years until the battery crapped out and it stopped getting updates.
Thing is, I game a lot on my phone these days, probably more than any other device just because a smartphone is something you always have on your person right?

But well, should be fine with most any modern phone. I kinda wanna skip out on Chinese brands this time though because they tend to be super strict about memory management and I've had FGO crash now and again because of that, and it will throw error codes my way which indicate my phone is rooted (but it's not.)

A question:
I'm not at home, and I just received my pre-order key for The Dark Pictures Anthology - Man of Medan from the Bandai Namco website.
I activated it using the web browser, but from the licenses page, I'm not seeing if I got the pre-order DLC (the "Curator's Cut").
Is there any way I can check if I got that DLC (outside of using the Steam client)?

Adol is such a dapper dude. I'm loving the intricate designs of the girls too. Probably besting Ys VIII designs by this stage.
Everyone wants a new phone and I'm perfectly fine with a 7 years old Xperia and 6 years old iPhone 5. Never had a slight problem with either of them and Xperia's battery still going strong. Admittedly, I don't play much on them (sometimes I boot Ghost Trick, AA or TWEWY), but I use them a lot for their direct purposes: calls, messaging and internet. Hopefully there's still good 2-3 years in them.

You need to login first
Do you have the Steam app installed on your phone? If so, all you need is to check the 'Support' page and type in Man of Medan. Once it shows up, select it and you will be able to see all DLCs you currently own for it. You can do the same through a web browser as long as you're logged on Steam.
Don't get a flagship phones and you are good. Mid tier Samsung phones are really good for their price. If your country sell Xiaomi phones it's even better, they have the best price/performance.I wanted to save for a Switch Lite this holiday season, but I remembered today I also need a new phone. Can vouch for Xiaomi, have an A2, it's very good though just under the minimum GPU for something like Fortnite (not that I'd play it) so I'd go for a step up today.

The designs are quite good, the 2D artwork you see.It's the final 3D models that fail to live up to them.That's some hideous character designs
There are so many games from Hamble's Bamco BYOB that I want. But knowing me I wouldn't have time to play through the games I want. But also I know it won't be this cheap again in a long time

Looks like I haven't added it to the cart. The other SAO games I can skip? I added Fatal Bullet Complete Edition since I got the base game but not the dlcs, and it is cheaper to get it than the dlcs separately
Man i really want to buy gears 5 on steam but they still dont fix the regional price for south/central america, already lost hope 
I think Ys Seven has the best Adol design from the PSP era, although I still quite like his design in Ys VIII.
I like them both. I just wish Falcom wouldn't try to make their games bigger in scope, with dozens of characters and huge maps. I feel that's why IX doesn't look as impressive as it could be. If you are a small team, then you should be better aware of your strengths and weaknesses.Eh.

Hmm the story doesn't really connect to each other. Except Accel World one that gives you more insight to Accel World's story.
We were talking Ys here. Trails is almost always amazing (with the exception of Cold Steel 1 and 2, not a fan of the high school inspired things)

I was playing Hitman 2 for 2 hours or something, then my computer totally shutdown on me while viewing the map.
This has happened a few times the last year. First, while playing Anno 2205, then while playing Just Cause 3. All quite hardware intensive games. The crashes occurred a few months apart.
Windows logs only show that the computer shutdown unexpectedly, so I have no idea what the underlying issue is.
Things like this bother me to no end. Not knowing what is the issue.

A question: based on past entries, would someone who barely played the first Gears of War game would be able to start playing Gears 5, and understand thing, plotwise?
Are there usually any recaps, or something, so that people can catch-up as they play?
Additionally, how are the games, in terms of SP content (generous length campaign, alternate modes, ...)?

Mmh, 100% out of my rear end I would say maybe start with 4 ? There was some years between 3 and 4 and it wouldddd be logical for 4 to be more open to new players. I don't know, I just played 1-2 and patiently (not) waiting for PC versions or emulation of the rest of the entries. I really want to wait for RTX 3000-series for that game. I hope the game doesn't run total poop on my 1080.
What are your temps like when the pc shuts down? Do you have MSI afterburner installed? Could be your powersupply or gpu fans that need tinkering. Its usually one of those two things when pc randomly shuts down like that.
Also if you have Win10 go to settings and disable game mode + game bar. Those things caused my rig to shutdown a bunch earlier in the year for wtvr reason.
Aaaand I finally caught up, phew!
On the games front recently, I finished Telling Lies yesterday, and as someone who found Her Story intriguing but overrated I personally much preferred Telling Lies.
Largely I think, quite simply due to the story being more interesting this time around to me personally, but that said I felt like I'd gotten my fill of understanding the intrigue and sussing out everything that was going on before I had finished it (I finished it with just under 50% of all clips discovered), so I feel little incentive to go back and explore the other routes frankly.
Will start Man of Medan tonight as my next thing to play.

FunnyJay My new card did that until i installed the Fan Control software, apparently the default bios settings are trash on EVGA.
As yuraya said Check temps of CPU, GPU and Chassis, Check PSU fan runs when under load, check if you need to run an app for your GPU etc.
Super tempted by Man of Medan but i've just stolen all the SAO games from Hamble together with My Witch Academia. I also got Headspun, Knights and Bikes, & Un Pas Fragile from Steam... well i would but PayPal don't want me giving Gabe any money today. Has Tim moneyhatted PayPal!?

I think that "density" is the reason why I don't like the look of the models on 3D. But that might also be affected by the bad image quality, I'll judge it properly on PC, with SGSAA on ideally.I simply won't miss any chance to shill Enami's art at every opportunity.
