We don't know how much money Epic paid for this deal. Probably a lot, and probably more than the revenue of the lost sales because of this deal.
Maybe it's fair to say that I didn't like any single character in Gears 1. Not single line that makes you think, or learn something about them, it's all just cliche after cliche. I could write half those lines in my sleep, in some sort of freak nightmare. Epic clearly couldn't write games back then.

It's an interesting idea, but unless the game does better at allowing for experimentation with the whole range of that compass, I'm not sure what the point is. I've always felt pretty constrained in Democracy games to either the center or slightly "left" of center, without a whole lot of viability to anything else. Maybe that's the point, I dunno.

Maybe we should try to put the emphasis on positive things, I think I should try anyways. Celebrating the good and not spotlighting the bad. When you keep drudging in shit, you get to stink too.
