I would have liked a decent online game in this universe ! But Fallout 76 ? They had a whole year to do something to improve it, solve the biggest issues at least. They didn't. Now they're going full GaaS. So I don't expect anything from Bethesda.
I'm looking forward to elder scrolls 6 but I've got concerns about online play.

Starfield.... I mean Outer World's just beat Beth to the punch on that one.

Fallout 76... this sub thing is a weird move. Usually, going for a sub model AFTER full priced release is like going F2P but supporting that with constant revenue stream of subs/microtransactions. However, there are still public servers and the game is NOT ftp... So, beth is trying to have their cake and eat it too.

Only thing that can fix 76 is having the NPCs show up at the start and a new storyline.

I mean the only reason to pay is if you want a dedicated server so its really not a big deal. I am just mad because it exists! and to a lesser extent because it still isnt on steam! (I plan to play it when its on Steam for sub $20)

What I've read is that your world disappears when you leave and no one else on the server is a paying member.

Well, we're halfway through yet another week, and still no signs of my Shenmue 3 refund.

I'm so f#$%&#£ pissed!

Really, I have no words. 5 weeks later, and they still haven't refunded people who asked for a refund on the very first day.

ORIGINAL DLC TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BASE VERSION OF ROCKET LEAGUE

Yes, you read that correctly. Later this year, all versions of Rocket League on all platforms will include the first three DLC Packs at no additional cost.

Following an update before the end of the year, everything included in the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLC Packs will be automatically available for all Rocket League owners. In other words, all owners of Rocket League will also have access to Dominus, Takumi, Scarab, Zippy, Ripper, and Grog.

As a result, those three DLCs will no longer be available for sale starting today. Rocket League Game of the Year Edition has also been removed from storefronts because it included those three DLCs. Players who purchased any of those DLCs on October 1, 2019 or afterwards will be eligible for a refund through your first-party platform. We'll announce the exact date for when you can expect to see this content added to the base game soon.

Why every social media post about Corpse Party 2 is a grey haired waifu with a big chest lying on the floor? That isnt scary.

I have 2 kids right now (3 and 6 years old) and there's no way I can get any of my own gaming while they're awake. That just means I get any of my gaming time after they've gone to bed, and I can usually get around 2 hours. It helps that I don't really watch TV anymore.

Although there are the rougher nights like last night, when 2 hours after her bedtime my daughter is still getting out of bed and calling me into her room for reasons like she wasn't dreaming about the right cartoon character, or that she had found an old band-aid stuck behind her bed.
I'm very strict with my son's bedtime but thus another problem arises. My wife gets upset if I don't spend the time with her. It's an endless struggle.

Dragon Age II got updated again. IIRC community_visible_stats are a manually added thing. I remember people freaking out when Dark Souls 1 added it because it was the first indicator that they were dropping GFWL and adding steamworks and achievements.

Wait, that's a collab for the first game?
Yeah they've been consistently updating it despite the sequel coming..

Just put the game on Steam for like 10$ and fuck off far n away with your subscriptions.
Bethesda Planning Room: you know what this friggin game needs? More people mocking it.

If so, my "choice" will be to cancel my subscription.

I wonder how much influence Epic had in Humbles decision to stop with the current monthly formula.
The monthly model probably wasn't that profitable anymore, that was enough for them. However, as a plus they certainly knew that people wouldn't be happy taking keys from EGS unless they were the early unlocks. With this new model they can work with Epic to put games that didn't sold well in each monthly pool and say that people can just take another game if they don't want a Epic key.

I mean, Dangerous Driving, Cardpocalypse, Shakedown Hawaii and plenty others all turned up to be bundle material after all. With this new format Epic and these games publishers can dump keys from those games there giving Humble plenty never=bundled games to work with.

If you bought that Fanatical bundle and don't know what to do with the Asterix & Obelix XXL2 code, might I suggest that I take that burden of your shoulders?

You think they'll do a cross-promotion like this involving Valve and then go 'ahahaha fuck y'all'? That would be the ultimate betrayal.
And exactly how Epic loves to piss off pc gamers. This cross-over looks like dlc for the FIRST game. I still expect DL2 to be EGS exclusive.

Sorry m8, Asterix & Obelix was the reason why I bought it.

Of course DL1 but no chance Valve would've done this without a stern talk about where DL2 will get released. Or they're so, soooo much dumber than we ever could've imagined and indeed soft push-overs.

New Augmented Steam:

  • Fixed large text in reviews
  • Added option to hide support info on store pages
  • Added option to disable horizontal media scrolling
  • Added option to force mp4 videos
  • Fixed wishlist export
  • Multiple Steam search fixes regarding filters
  • Localization updates

EGS buys exclusivity, limits my choice and then tells me it's for the benefit of the industry, the poor devs and also for me. They can fuck off with that bullshit and stick their store up their ass as far as i'm concerned. If Humble offer EGS keys then Humble will hear from me on a monthly basis on why I paused my sub and about how I'll never want a EGS key no matter how AAA, how new, or how desired the game is.

As a side point, the EGS store operates opposite to my personal philosophy on how a company should run and conduct itself and as such I'd rather walk away from gaming completely than bend over for it.

honestly, knowing volvo that crossover talk went something like this:

Techland: can we use L4D2 stuff in our game?
Volvo: yes

THE END

what i'm trying to say is - volvo lets pretty much anyone use any of their stuff ... as long as it's released on steam as well
