Maybe the time for 1 year EGS exclusivity deals for big games are coming to end, Epic couldn't even bribe RDR2 for a year. Indie games and B tier publishers like Paradox and Nu THQ + will probably take 1 years deals cause they're too greedy and stupid to know better. Steam got in return for some indie games leaving the platform, Destiny 2, Microsoft, Bethesda and maybe EA back.

And behold... after having the coating moisturized for ~5h I managed to pull it off easily in one go! (Pretty much exactly like this)

This is the result:

Long story short: I managed to scratch the monitor and I just couldn't live with it so I decided to get rid of the anti-glare coating of the monitor by dissolving the glue with water. Now the colors are more vibrant than before but as a result of the removal there's--of course--no anti-glare coating so it's very shiny and reflective now.

I was going to be like "your potentially ruining your monitor for nothing!!!" when I saw your first post but yeah, makes sense to remove damaged filter. Might still come back to bite you down the line, as certain dell monitors are notorious for being damaged AFTER the seemingly perfect removal of an anti glare filter.

I'm one of those "matte finish or bust" people. I tried a glossy monitor, couldn't unsee my stupid ugly mug staring blankly at myself.

Don't care for matte or gloss, just think colors/image in general would show better without it. It's almost a visible texture like slight noise/grain.

Dragon Age II got updated again. IIRC community_visible_stats are a manually added thing. I remember people freaking out when Dark Souls 1 added it because it was the first indicator that they were dropping GFWL and adding steamworks and achievements.

More and more it's looking like a matter of when not if EA will return to Steam.

Without a doubt. Apart from maybe Hades, the rest are bundle fodder and I wouldn't put it past Epic to "devalue" them just before they hit steam by either putting them into a bundle that now penalises you skipping it or just give them away for free on the store. Humble are are deep inside Epic's pocket.

Seeing how DQ Musou was able to release on PC, I would imagine that KT would be okay with porting it.

But since ATLUS is ATLUS, If we don't hear anything about a PC version for when they give out more information about this game In the west, than wait 2 years for SEGA EU to say something if they don't then it will likely never happen.

It looks cool, it still has Musou elements but it also looks like they were able to add a good amount of the Persona 5 formula as well

You see, EA is just planning on jumping on the EGS bandwagon, and like a lot of the devs, they just use Steam for testing integration.

Too bad we will never know how Origin is really doing. I bet ever since they introduced Origin and premiere access the $$$ for them tanked hard in terms of game purchases.

I mean who would really launch Origin today with the purpose of spending 60$ on something. Everything is subscription driven for them and their most popular game Apex is free too.

Kind of makes sense for them to come back to Steam. And they should do GOG, EGS, Gamepass as well while offering their main sub service on the side as integration. It would increase their revenue for sure tho I don't know by how much.

FIFA and Battlefield would do well on Steam but everything else...eh. Not that they have much else. I guess Anthem could see a huge boost on Steam if they relaunch it the right away. (Like Destiny 2)

I think I might buy the new Star Wars game but I am not sure if I should just sign up for Origin Premium instead. You have until the end of October to sign up for premium and do the security thing and if you do you get another month for free. So that should be enough time to beat the game.

So my sub would start Oct 31. then it would end on Nov 30? and the extra month would be until Dec 30. The game releases on November 15, so I would have around 45 or so day to beat it for just $15USD? It's a single player game and stuff so I doubt I will go back and replay it or something (actually because of premium you get the game a whole week early don't you? So November 8 or November 10? Since it might just be 5 days early?) If that is the case 50 days for $15 might be worth it.

Yes, they know what they're doing with the sub and launch windows. I remember earlier this year when subbed for playing Anthem, they're releasing the next update right after my sub runs out. I started my sub right before the game went live.

I'm pretty sure that EA will come back in full swing, everything will be on Steam from the day1 and such. Think about it, if they don't every pc release would be an additional damage to their reputation (Why game x is on Steam and that one nope? Boo!!), all of that for what? Just to sell a copy or two of the saboteur? It would be better to just stay on origin at this point, just like the last 10 years or so. Nah, that's something that requires a full commitment, they have to gain good will and money as well in this day and age, they can't sustain an half-assed solution today.

They have been really quiet. I would have expected them to have announced at least another Yakuza PC port or two by now.

This is pretty common. SEGA Europe releases a few ports and goes silent for months afterwards all the time.

They released Bayonetta and Vanquish right next to eachother then went silent for 9 months and came back with Puyo Puyo Tetris.
