The only thing that I can think of was how it was an FPS game where you and 3 others can play against each other in splitscreen?Honest question, was GoldenEye this revolutionary game back in the day?
I really don't get the hype around old console shooters, played Perfect Dark (HD remake of the original) on 360 and it was rough, boring and weightless. Played TimeSplitters and while the setting was fun the game itself is rather meh. I guess to me Halo is really the only console FPS that probably not far behind of the best that PC can offer. Shows you just how much the input method can change the whole game.

That's definitely one weird-ass list. That's an interesting list of the best FPS games of all time. I'd never guessed that some of these games are shooters and I'm not sure how Black can be on the best list of anything, but it's less obvious than most lists of that kind, I'll give them that.

I was reading down the list thinking ehhh?? all the way through. Dishonored 2 sitting at No.3 in the list with the opening line "While not a traditional first-person shooter, Dishonored 2 is the best immersive sim since Deus Ex " <- Then don't stick it at No.3 in a FPS list then! Honorable mention for sure. That's definitely one weird-ass list.
Mirrors edge huh
I mean, it's a weapons video that you searched for and found so it's just gonna have that. I's not a large part of the game as you play it normally.Dunno, looks like a regular old FPS to me. The shooting is a bit clunky, maybe.
I mean, they have Alien: Isolation, Fallout 4 and Dying Light on the list, so, why not?Mirrors edge huh
I know that it was an extremely popular game at the time, but, did it actually influenced the genre? I'm asking because I saw some articles claiming that Valve changed HL after being that much impressed with GE.Golden Eye was the fucking Bee's Knees on Console when it released. PC owners had all sorts of FPS but Golden Eye was the first on Consoles that i noticed was a phenomenon. Nothing could touch it with that split-screen multiplayer.
To me the ultimate console FPS (disclaimer: I haven't played many) is The Darkness. It's so good that it's worth dealing with analog aiming just to experience its greatness. A game so full of style and awesomeness that it puts lots of other shooters to shame.Honest question, was GoldenEye this revolutionary game back in the day?

I wasn't seriously suggesting that ME is a real FPS, but the gun mechanics they put in (and even designed around, there are few levels I don't think an average player could finish without grabbing a machine gun) are they definitely there.I mean, it's a weapons video that you searched for and found so it's just gonna have that. I wouldn't call Metroid Other M an FPS because someone might have made a video where it just shows first person missile shooting bits and pieces.

How dare you talk about our god and savior Kojima like that. Why is Cliffy walking around with a plastic doll?![]()

I was talking about the female doll. We all know Kojima is made of pure gold.![]()
That was the last great game from the Starbreeze, Syndicate has its moments, but it's not the same (and the FOV still gives me headache) , I'm still angry that we haven't got it on PC and stuck with the inferior sequel. That's the only game there you can sit MC's ass on a couch and watch a movie with his girlfriend. Plus it has psycho Mike Patton, Great stuff. To me the ultimate console FPS (disclaimer: I haven't played many) is The Darkness. Im pretty sure the woman in that pic is Cliffys wife.
That's possible, it happened before

Married Japanese man claims he has found love with a sex doll
Senji Nakajima, 61, lives with his doll Saori in his apartment in Tokyo where he enjoys a physical relationship with it - but he claims he is happy because his companion isn't 'after only money'.www.dailymail.co.uk
Don't be mean, plenty women put a lot of make up and stuff on when going out...
I didn't think she looks exceptionally overdone but even if she was, meh, whatever?
I loved the sequel too, which I played this year (or last one, can't remember). But yeah, it's different. The first one is quite unique, and for some reason reminded me of Max Payne while keeping its own personality. That was the last great game from the Starbreeze, Syndicate has its moments, but it's not the same (and the FOV still gives me headache) , I'm still angry that we haven't got it on PC and stuck with the inferior sequel. I just don't see why someone would care. If you find a woman to look like a doll, keep it to yourself.
Don't be mean
Sequel changed the atmosphere of the game and traded grounded crime drama with supernatural elements to full blown urban fantasy with a Hitler knock-off and his cultists as main enemies. It's not a bad game, and I think it has more refined gameplay mechanics than the original. But the whole package wasn't there and at the end the story went into unexpectedly dumb places.I loved the sequel too, which I played this year (or last one, can't remember). *Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is available on PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store for the first year, at which point it will come to additional digital PC retailers.
they now state the exclusivity lenght
I mean, they're not lying, it'll be on Steam, eventually. Though in this case they were specific about the launch, so, maybe T2 aren't happy with the Epic's moneybags?Private Division claims Disintegration will be on Steam by the way, but I don't believe that at all.
It looks like a glorious canadian TV show for SyFy. I think it'll be deliciously awful.
I'm going to have to watch this abomination and I am not happy about it.
its fine here , we have rain with 0% chance of rainits too hot to be gaming without sitting in an oven
