I started Subnautica and I have no fucking idea what I'm supposed to do.

Go explore somewhere, have some big monster scare you, quickly close the game and pretend it never happened

Square Enix needs to chill the heck out, lordy, I cannot keep up with these games. Harvestella was the only one I plan to get day 1, but I have always wanted to play Tactics Ogre.

Importing the new Shin Chan. Now to see it be announced for localization in a month like what happened with Gnosia (and that was a double whammy now that it is also coming to PC). :goodmorningblob:

Also, I knew when I imported Shin Chin it would not only be localized, but come to Steam hahah. So here we are, glad to see it is coming though.

Back home. Picked up a retail version of Xenoblade 3. First Switch game I've bought since Metroid Dread.

Will pick up Plague Tale 2 and some others soon.

Lol, Square (and other Japanese devs) mostly doesn't seem to care about Xbox.

If you are into JRPGs and getting an Xbox, you are doing it wrong.

I reeeeaallly want to play Subnautica... but I also hate scary videogames! 😭

Subnautica is amazing and probably in my top ten fav games from the past decade. It's simply terrifying and it took me a while to proceed any further in the game because WHEW BUDDY. I implore you to just push through the fear and enjoy the experience, it's so worth it. But also yes, it doesn't give you much direction overall. Look for any new coordinates or spots that pop up.

Tactics Ogre is back, let's gooooooooo!

Very happy to see this is coming to more then just Playstation consoles. This game is too good for people to miss out on.

Now where the fuck is Final Fantasy Tactics on steam, SquareEnix?????

Goodbye Koch Media

Today marks an exciting day in the history of Koch Media by rebranding into PLAION.

Kundratitz also hopes the new identity will make more of an impact internationally than Koch did.

"We have made such an enormous transformation since we joined the Embracer Group," he said. "Our name for so many years was associated with physical distribution, perhaps with us being more of a central European company – although including the UK because that was among the first three countries where we launched. But we're perhaps not seen as a global company. And it's sometimes difficult for some people to pronounce."

For those wondering, the 'ch' in Koch is not pronounced the way you would think. Plaion, meanwhile, is pronounced exactly as you would expect: like 'Play on,' a phrase Kundratitz hopes to evoke for both the company's games and film business. The logo has even been designed around the universally recognised triangular symbol for 'play' with the 'io' styled to resemble a one and zero – a little binary Easter egg to emphasise the company's digital operations.

That said, for all the film and TV connotations associated with the 'play' symbol, Kundratitz emphasised that Plaion is "first and foremost a games company."
"It's nine-to-one compared to the size of the film business," he explained.

"Koch has always been a B2B brand and it will continue to be," Kundratitz said. "All our consumer-facing publishing labels – Deep Silver, Prime Matter, Ravenscourt, Milestone and Vertigo Games – will stay the same. I think it's easier to transition from Koch to Plaion in a B2B environment."

The new brand will also apply to Koch Film, which is now Plaion Pictures, although the various games publishing labels remain unchanged.

Kundratitz said the timing is especially good as it comes just ahead of Gamescom, where Plaion will have a big presence and new announcements to cement the rebrand in people's minds. He also added that Plaion is far from the only company dramatically reinventing its image.

It's a SPECIAL release

This game is part of Boku no Natsuyasumi, adventure games centered around nostalgic childhood vacations.
Shinchan (esp the newer show/movie) is also about nostalgic childhood antics and whimsy.

This is a fitting combo of both

I can't explain why, but those character models freak me the f out.

Mainly the heads when their eyes are open.

ready to this weekend.

To avoid issues with jp language I installed it on PC (where you need to change region OS to Japan during installation, if not you get error) then moved files with Winpinator and edited save file route on Deck.
Patch language, voice & uncensored it.
Works great, it's nice joystick it's recognized and can be played with dpad.

In Spain was pretty big 15 years ago and it's still going on FOX and YouTube channel, every thursday they release one new chapter https://www.youtube.com/Shinchan
We got all GBA and DS games. Hiroshi's spanish voice was good creator's friend, he even appears on one Anime film (the one where they come to Spain) and this the main reason this has been localized.

am i the only one who absolutely hate the ass smudge filter.. give me clean pixel graphics.

topspunfiltered0pj6v.gif

It kinda looks better than the filters in some of their previous releases, at least. Have they said whether you can turn it off? Normally I'd assume you can but this is Square-Enix so who the fuck knows. Continuing to put garbage filters that can't be turned off in their games despite people complaining about it literally every single time would be pretty on-brand for Square-Enix.

Urrg I am getting Chrono Trigger flashbacks. Thankfully they sorta patched that one eventually.

I mean the fanbase has historically never supported japanese games and that continues to this day so yeah you can't really blame them for skipping xbox a lot especially for smaller niche games. Remember ace attorney trilogy sold about a mil globally on that one update capcom gave and it did literally like 3-4k on xbox.

Yet to this day I still see xbox fans complaining about this situation. It's been like this for 20 years guys idk what to tell you at this point, you have to stop running into that cement wall eventually.
