You mount the drive where the game is installed, then you just run it from there. At least that's how it was when I last used it like 10 years ago. (A lot of games I played over GOG have Dosbox, but there this is all already taken care of for you)
Did they really never bother to implement a rudimentary UI with a file browser for this? It's not that hard, certainly something you could get done in a decade.
Thank you! I was gonna ask you how to use DOSBox ECE to be exact. The game I want to run seems to require me to get Windows 3.1 run on DOSBox. How come the DOSBox that comes with GOG games don't require this?

EGS has been bugged out graphically on Mac for weeks now, if I actually had bought something I would have been pissed with all this "competition". Can't even access "my games".

But the Fanatical Terrible Bundle doesn't exactly inspire anticipation ...Legends is somewhat of a stretch though!
Eh Colossus Bundle was decent IMO. I got 3 games from it at least. Plus I snagged the LEGO bundle for $5 before they fixed it ^_^
The only game I was interested in in any bundle was Ash of Gods. Not worth it for me :/
Bundles have their days numbered, I mean there will still be bundles in webs like Fanatical or Indie Gala but they are becoming less and less relevant.

To be fair I get where you're going; this being a bundle, the more games one would want the more enticing it is regardless of price. Still consider that if it were $5 on steam, would you get it there? If so, why not get it in this bundle~

Ditto...although the Mostly Positive evaluation on Steam doesn't help push me to click buy.
Pretty much this. Most devs are learning that bundles are best to be avoided until late in lifecycle.
And there's still some buyers who'll buy just about everything for those +1's, no need to do great bundles anymore.
Honestly, those are two great games for free.
But I hate using the client so much that I have yet to actually play any free game I claimed on it yet.
You don't need base dosbox, config files located somewhere in windows users folder. But you can manually create it in dosbox folder by "config -wc" command (if i remember correctly, without quotes), just type it when dosbox running

So yeah, this only happens if someone at Atlus loses a bet with a Sega executive, and even then I'd expect them to put up a blood feud or two over it.
It may have played a role in this, the incentive of getting your game in humble's monthly could pull off developers trying other sites. But even monthlies are hit or miss most of the time.
How about we get a SMT Nocturne remake then??? (or Lucifer's Call depending upon where you are...)

This was one of those last minute purchases I made in the Lunar sale. I don't watch or play the sport, but I'm really enjoying my time with this game. Slide tackling is incredible, and scoring a goal feels very rewarding. I only wish there was a way to disable special abilities.

Fingers crossed for Assault Android Cactus new content arriving to Steam eventually, it's one of the best twin stick arcades ever made.
That Dosbox ECE feature set looks pretty good, integer scaling, 1:1 PAR, OPL3. This will be perfect for replaying Knights of Xentar ... I mean, Sorcerian! Yeah...

i think their explanation is gonna be a much better one than mine, i personally found
it to be sort of majima's coping mechanism with not having been able to escape the yakuza underworld with makoto. he never explicitly says he wants out or anything, but you can tell he loves her and it's pretty clear that being with her would be incompatible with being a yakuza, since you know, yakuza are bad people and all. and i think he's inspired by nishitani to adopt that super crazy persona and kind of honoring him in some way?
I have a feeling that we've done this kind of survey multiple times before. But after Catherine, everything can happen now with Atlus.
PC Port is one the printed options at various points. I feel like that's new. We always had to put it in "Other" in the past, AFAIK. Anyhow its still a long shot but we might as well try.

Anyway, the mystery is solved now (sooner than expected). It's indeed a price mistake and now they've adjusted it like their regular pricing.

I have been training a DCGAN, using one of Google's free GPU on the cloud, to generate Steam banners. It is a model published in 2015, it was used to generate up to 128x128 pictures. I am using it to generate tiny 28x28 pictures. I am happy with the results given the constraints (computation time, available memory, available disk space). I could train one with up to 64x64 pictures, yet the samples would still look very blurry compared to the 460x215 real Steam banners
I wish I had access to one of these $100,000 Nvidia setup to generate higher resolution images.
I wonder what the setup is for people who generate anime faces. I guess they are able to skip most of the training by reusing the high-resolution models for human faces. Maybe even use waifu2x to upsample the generated images.

As always, Steam is evolving internally but god knows when we will see this by ourselves, I swear sometimes this is like a game "where is the hidden update"
Just finished Ninja Blade. This game is best played as a curiosity because it's pretty ho hum and if you want your 3D Action ninja fix, maybe go for Onimusha as that's the closest you will get.
The game's visuals are ugly most of the time, that weird mix of sewer green that premates much of the stages just makes playing through the game a chore.
Combat is passable but best played on Easy so enemies die faster. Set QTE to Foolproof so that they happen automatically.
I think where the game really shines are in its QTE scenes as they're very dynamic and fun.

A week has gone since the Direct2Drive price error for Valkyrie Chronicles 4, still D2D hasn't refunded all customers who bought the game. I will not open a claim yet, I will still give them time to refund me.

Yeah. Can't say I'm impressed with the way they have been handling this.
They ignore emails, and unless one goes to their twitter account, they wouldn't have any info about what is happening.
I wont buy from D2D anymore because they've changed hands like 4 times in the last 10 years. Somehow my purchases from like 2008 are still available for download but I even had to have a Gamefly launcher on my PC for a while.
No discount is enough to buy with such uncertainty.
