notice the wording of their posts
how they specify more that once that they are talking specifically about From's involvment
Yeah Omni is supposed to be really knowledgeable on From Software stuff only. Bloodborne remaster has got to be something that is entirely being done by Sony so it makes sense that he/she wouldn't know.

Edit: Actually someone in the comments mentioned that Omni knew about the Demon Soul's Remake so I don't really know anymore and Omni mentioned it themselves.

To be fair, Omnipotent stated more than a year ago that their source wasn't involved with From Software anymore, so they didn't have anything fresh to share. Even most of the things they said in the last 2 years were generic af ("the game is big, the game is very open", that kind of stuff anyone could tell).
So no, I don't think it's something to be taken in consideration, also because as others stated, FS wouldn't be involved in a Bloodborne remaster/porting like they didn't had anything to do with the DS remaster

A port to PC could still come about as Sony owns the IP and could just give it to any third party (or Nixxes) to port it, without needing any input from From.
That being said, given the slow pace of those Sony ports, I wouldn't hold my breath anyway.

That 4 million number is being widely reported as something like a huge declaration, but I have a suspicion that some of the reporters writing those articles didn't actually investigate the context. ~46 million desktop GPUs are shipped yearly, and probably at least as many (dedicated) laptop GPUs, so a goal of 4 million for all discrete GPUs (desktop and laptop combined) really doesn't sound like it will make a huge dent in the market.

Hey some I'm sure we have had this debate before but as I've just re-built my PC...

thermal paste
Are you a pea spotter or a smear it all overer?
Does it really matter?

The only thing that can matter is not having enough of it on there to cover the contact surface. (Unless you use liquid metal)

Gamersnexus investigated this, and with the pressure on modern cooling systems it's almost impossible to modify/ruin your performance by having an imperfect spread or "too much" thermal paste. It might make a mess though.

From my personal experience, evenly smearing it over the surface of the CPU works best. I tried different methods before, like an X mark or a dot in the middle, but the results were always slightly worse than covering the surface of the CPU with the thermal paste by hand. YMMV of course.

Vox Machinae releases its massive V1.0 update on March 3rd, 2022!

Embark on an epic, inter-planetary singleplayer campaign alongside a ragtag crew of endearing misfits. Join them as a member of the Horizon security team, strapping into the cockpit of a hulking mining machine to restore peace to the Serus System by any means necessary.
