Noticed that one of the Capcom games that has been getting depot updates recently on SteamDB is... Street Fighter X Tekken...
I wonder if they're just going to apply that lousy anti-modding DRM to this game without doing anything about GFWL, the reason the game is still delisted.

If they do this, my popcorn is ready.

I meant about control over the creative process and not control over the final result. You have some control on the output, but you have no control over the creative process, you have no control about how a drawing is made, or how a piece of music is made, and so on.
I said in a previous post, personally I like when art is created, and not when art is generated, though, I have no problem with hobbyists doing AI art for themselves, as long as they don't attempt to sell it, don't use it for commercial purposes, or don't pretend that it's not AI art/don't hide that it's AI art.
I think you have more control of the process. You can dream whatever you want. Then you might just end up with something where the final result cannot reach your vision. That's what I run into most of the time. Usually I have a list of ideas and I'll try them all out on any new AI, it's nice when I can finally get something like I was imagining. Along those lines, some implementations and most open source stuff has extensions that allow you to control scene composition in a lot of different ways - it can be straight image inputs, pose inputs that use AI to read the human pose from an image, etc. In the midst of creation you can intervene, usually you have to if you want something specific that you have in mind.

It's more like fragments of the process and fragments of the final result that you can control.

I'm legit tempted to day one Momodora, but I just chained Momodora III and Minoria, so a little pause wouldn't be so bad.
I really appreciate rdein but playing his games in succession make them feel really samey.

It's interesting how much influence a small company (employee wise) can have on such a big industry (PC industry compared to employee giants like MS.

I'm glad it seems to have turned out good but some design decisions I'd expect from Capcom's last Strider game or Metroid Dread yet in the spirit of the original I'd want to see more tactical and methodical swordfighting & more immersing design in general without the "jumping up goes through the floor/platform" stuff.

Suicide Squad hands-on previews go out, they are mixed
Rocksteady: We should lift NDA from the Alpha we did in November to help things
Player impressions go out, they are even worse than hands-on previews XD

Glad to see Prince of Persia: TLC is getting great reviews, and looking forward to trying the demo later today. Shame it's not on Steam and requires an Ubi account to play, though; idiotic of Ubi to kneecap PC sales of a game that would probably do quite well on Steam.

Rocket Knight collection, developed by Limited Run Games, is coming to PC. Loved these games on emulators back in the day. (There's also a Felix the Cat collection that for some reason isn't coming to PC, though I can't say I particularly care about those)

For a mobile game I will say that the new Atelier game looks impressive visually. Both the lewd stuff and everything else. Did the Ryza game even have these high quality assets in the game??

I'm not sure if it's because of the Switch or something but just wow.

That's just looking at some visuals and presentation of the game.

Prince of Persia day one. Demo was fun.
I intend to play it on Deck so until I can get it on Steam I am not buying it. I don't mind getting bigger games that I will play on PC on Ubisoft Connect, but smaller ones that are good for Deck I simply can't bother with. I know how to install other launchers and make games work but I simply can't bother to deal with that. I started rebuying older AC titles that I can play on Deck on Steam because of that.

The opposite for me. Usually don't buy ubisoft games on day one, not really interested in any of their big games. I do love most Ubisoft Montpellier games and the PoP series though. So day one to support more games from Ubisoft Montpellier, hopefully.

The Lost Crown demo was very fun. Shorter than I expected (my understanding is that you have access to certain abilities significantly earlier than you would in the full game, and some paths are cut off by forcefields to restrict the parts of the map you can reach), but production values, platforming, combat, and the general feel of the game are all great. Some of the platforming did make me wish the game had the rewind feature from the previous Ubisoft PoP game. Shame it's not on Steam.

I read that the demo ends before a boss. Do you fight any boss during it ?

The Prince of Persia demo was good and I would have bought it day 1 for Steam Deck, but I'm renting it on PS5 instead. :shrugblob:

Yeah, nice PoP demo. Very solid game. I'm very wary of the difficulty though, I literally can't parry shit on the regular enemies. If bosses are the same I won't go far. Platforming has the potential to be difficult too, but manageable.

edit
Replayed. Greatly varies by enemy. The parry is not as insane as I thought. Still not living the parry life.

I found the parry/counter timing more forgiving than other action games with similar mechanics (though I still wasn't great at it, admittedly), but worth noting that the difficulty settings do allow you to adjust the timing.
